Neverwinter Scheduled Maintenance 1/15 at 6 AM PST
Hey everyone,
This week's maintenance will start at 6 am PST instead of the normal 7 AM time due to account server maintenance that will take place prior to the normally scheduled maintenance. Estimated downtime is 3 hours but could be extended due to unforeseen issues.
Update 1 6:05 AM PST - maintenance has begun. patch notes added.
Update 2 7:06 AM PST - Account server maintenance is progressing as planned. We'll let you know if anything changes.
Update 3 8:04 AM PST - Maintenance is ongoing. Estimated downtime remains the same. If anything changes with that we will let you know.
Update 4 8:55 AM PST - Looks like we will need more time for this maintenance. New estimated time is 10 AM PST.
Update 5: 9:32 AM PST - Update 4: Still no word on when servers will be back. Hopefully won't be too much long. While you wait though, you can sign up for the Xbox One Neverwinter Closed Beta http://bit.ly/1ymiNbl
i've ceased trusting CMs about the time vindictus hired a snarky, snobby **** to be their CM. worst CM ever. she even made it her personal priority to be as bitchy and sarcastic with her posts as she could be. it gives me ptsd flashbacks thinking about how someone so unproessional could be hired. but hey, at least she had the decency to update us.

How about some consistency. Well I guess Cryptic are becoming consistent at not getting the servers back up anymore but how about posting the correct times through the different ways you interact with the community. Not everyone is going to go through everything just to see when the game might be back up.
Launcher originally said 3.5 hours now to 4.5 with the extension. The scheduled maintenance post says 3 hours (no change). Twitter said 2.5 for original maintenance now extended.

Sure they are paid? Could imagine them being the sort of people doing it for "the fame" or the sweet feeling of power when they censor posts.

On the opposite, we had a wonderful European CM for Tabula Rasa. She was very communicative with the community, and she did events very often with us. For example, every friday she allowed us to make a boxing tournament, giving unique rewards. And even the devs made us a room to do so, with ring and boxing gloves.
She even came once or twice to give presents to the winners and all.
Not to mention her active participation in the community as a whole, posting in the official forum, and unofficial. She spoke fluently german, french and english.
She was really awesome. Avatea, if you ever read me, you were the best.

Sure one would think They would get it right by this point, but this certainly ISN'T anything new.
If They didn't do this, we'd have NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT for three hours.

The first few times you try something are the times where you invariably make mistakes. But you learn so that future attempts can be done correctly. Sure sometimes things can go wrong, but for the most part you get better.
Not Cryptic. At least one maintenance per week for 5 years and they still can't get it right? Getting it wrong so often and so much is beyond sublime.

Mine says 6-10:30 but 10:30 was 7 minutes ago and it's still down.
