Like Worffan, I don't have any problem at all with women in command. I can't: my mom would kill me. (My mother's a former Navy officer, and one of her female ROTC classmates commanded combatant ships and made admiral before she retired.) And hell, two of my three fanfic captains are female.

Indeed...the only people who induce more rage in me for reasons of incompetence rather than RL evilness are Moffat and Neelix.
