She gave Starfleet a great reason to improve its psychological screening procedures.
Like Worffan, I don't have any problem at all with women in command. I can't: my mom would kill me. (My mother's a former Navy officer, and one of her female ROTC classmates commanded combatant ships and made admiral before she retired.) And hell, two of my three fanfic captains are female.
I have a BIG problem with Mary Sues and inconsistent writing.
"Great War! / And I cannot take more! / Great tour! / I keep on marching on / I play the great score / There will be no encore / Great War! / The War to End All Wars"
— Sabaton, "Great War"
She got her people home, and in spite of the enemies she made in this hostile quadrant, made some allies too. Also, her older self single-handedly defeated the Borg, bringing peace to the galaxy that would last decades.
Anyone who got on Janeway's bad side knew about it, she's like a pitbull when she's angry
"The meaning of victory is not to merely defeat your enemy but to destroy him, to completely eradicate him from living memory, to leave no remnant of his endeavours, to crush utterly his achievement and remove from all record his every trace of existence. From that defeat no enemy can ever recover. That is the meaning of victory."
-Lord Commander Solar Macharius
She makes worffan's head turn an attractive shade of purple.
...Oh, baby, you know, I've really got to leave you / Oh, I can hear it callin 'me / I said don't you hear it callin' me the way it used to do?...
- Anne Bredon
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

I will NEVER EVER say anything but the truth again..

Nah. She had one look, which was...not impressive.
However nice it was, not worth the insanity of the rest of her.
Which is an opinion, much like the whole thread.
Can't deny that she had one facial expression, tho. Much like the 11th Doctor.
*Moffat rage simmers*
(Honestly, I never had a problem with her. There were much worse issues on that show to complain about.)
That much, we can all agree on. Much like Doctor Who with Stephen Moffat.
*Face goes stone cold.*
Worffan's right behind me, isn't he?
*Puts on rage-proof helmet.*

Yet, I can't deny a partiality to redheads as well, so I may be biased.

Indeed...the only people who induce more rage in me for reasons of incompetence rather than RL evilness are Moffat and Neelix.
But to be fair, she did on occasion make decisions that were not terrible.
And hawkuu - HHNNNGGGG!
Including Seven and Harry.
