I could do this little photoshop thing all day and create a bunch of them, but here are the first four I created. If I get a chance to create more between now and the end of the contest, I'll post those later. Anyway, here are the four submissions to this point:

    1) This one would allow you to receive double the number of materials when you scan the random R&D stuffs in both ground and space missions. She could be slotted in either ground or space, but would only work for one of them.
    LexaRinaxFEDEPIC-Diplomat.jpg

    2) Here is a random Rare Kobali Doff that could be picked up from any of the Kobali missions as an award. I like her specific power and it sort of fits the Kobali in general.
    KhatlaraFEDRARE-Biologist.jpg

    3) This one is basically my main toon, and his overall look was borrowed from another amazing player here. I received permission to use the style of head, but have since made adjustments making him all my own. I just came up with something for him to do...
    QitanStevalFEDURARE-Advisor.jpg

    4) This one may wind up being a first draft, as I couldn't come up with any special powers that made sense, but wanted to share it anyway. She could also be a mission reward, as she could be part of the Cooperative.
    QressKDFURARE-EnergyWeapSpecialist.jpg

I had the Delta Quadrant in mind when I created all four of these...
    Comments welcomed!

And now here are two that are related to each other, because if you've ever been inside a Romulan ship you know that the Singularity Core is the stuff of nightmares.

Using some history from a popular TNG episode and previous knowledge of STO having recreated this ability with a Starship Console previously I wanted to make this capability more available in a lighter capacity for everyone.

"The Picard Maneuver was immortalized in the game Star Trek Online with the release of the Heavy Cruiser Refit, which included the Constellation-class as a new set of skins. The device, the Warp Burst Capacitor, replicates the move, launching a player 5 KM away and renders them unable to be targeted." The ship appears to be in two places at Once and it take's several seconds for sensors to reacquire the target.

I'd love to see others create Federation Engineering Officers who have similar capabilities as these:

    Lieutenant Commander

    Engineering

Warp Core & Impulse Drive Engineer

Chance to implement the Picard Maneuver created in 2355 in the Battle of Maxia by Captain of the USS Stargazer. Starfleet Academy teaches this skill to senior Engineers & Starship Tactical Officers and the value of working together.

20% Chance to implement Warp Burst once every minute; prevents all attackers from targeting Starship for 5 seconds.

50% Cool down on Slipstream Drive.

For mine I used Admiral Quinn's son who's one of my Trill Bridge Officers "Jesrin Quinn" a Lt. Commander.

I love Real Holographic Simulated Evil Lincoln. If I had any talent, I'd try for other Futurama characters:

Amphibiosans, Neptunians, Spheroids, and... why not Decapodians?

Very nice. Tell me, did you do it just because it was a good movie, or am I not the only one here old enough to remember the Event Horizon trailer on the Star Trek: First Contact VHS? Or is it quite possibly both?

I've seen a few Lt. Kif Krokers around ESD and DS9 before. Pretty good likenesses. I saw a Zapp Brannigan that was also pretty good, and a Dr. Zoidberg or two.

We were talking about virtual reality and virtual worlds in Ten Forward a couple days ago and somebody brought up The Matrix and I dropped a Morpheus quote. That got me thinking about Laurence Fishburne's other works with good quotes and that reminded me of Event Horizon; and of course those Singularity Cores have always given me the creeps because of that movie, so making some tie in doffs for this thread was a no-brainer, lol.

I do remember the trailer on the First Contact VHS however.

Trivia: The original cut was 130 minutes long but was so gory that it scared the studio and the test audiences so much that they were ordered to cut 30 minutes and a bunch of gore out.

    Merry Christmas!

One of the recurring noncoms in the USS Bajor's medical department from my stories up in Ten Forward. Roughly 1/3 Betazoid (hybrid descended from multiple generations of hybrids), modeled on Navy corpsmen like my uncle. In my chronologically latest story, got winged in the arm on Kobali Prime dragging an injured man into cover.

The doff power was an attempt to make something that was useful, new, but not OP.

Known for not being always *completely* dressed up, Smirk may know something about her during the Pathfinder livestream. You know, with Taco, on the DJ Floor... "I can't bring you guys anywhere!". Yes you got it
