Just throwing one more in there, but i'm also having this issue. Individually, my characters are getting the discount for the ship they bought, but account wide, there is no discount, even though i had the message pop up saying there was.
This year I ran 3 characters for the Winter Event in order to unlock all 3 ships. Until yesterday, I had none of the projects slotted. What I did was gather the 1000 pics and then slotted the project.
Yesterday I was able to unlock the Sarr Theln. It has also unlocked the Project at the 40 Pic discounted price on my other characters as it should. I logged into another character and purchased the carrier at the 40 pic price... no problems with the Sarr Theln on my end.
Today, I unlocked the Plesh Brek and Chel Grett on two other characters (1000 pics each)... There are no 40-pic projects on any of my other characters.

Ahh, NO! the bug is NOT in the event, it's in the reputation project.
The event can end on the 15th with no effect on this problem. So long as you have the portraits of Q in your inventory (80, 40x2), you will be able to claim the ship with discount once the patch is implemented.
Enough of the "Doom and Gloom". be patient. too many people are affected for this to not get resolved.
You can only slot one project and there are two ships affected. So even with the portraits and a project slotted, if it's not fixed before the end of the event we wouldn't be able to slot the project for the other ship after the event has ended.

The amount of time a project is available in the reputation list has nothing to do with the event's duration. projects can be available for weeks or months after the end of the Winter event.

Erm, that would be true if the Devs decided that. But it's not the case. When the event ends, it's no longer possible to slot event based projects. If you have them slotted already they will stay around forever, but if you cancel it or didn't already have it slotted then you can't slot it after the event has ended. But by all means, keep spouting rubbish whilst telling other people to stop spreading falsehoods.

Are you Playing since Yesterday, or are you Spreading wrong Information by Purpose?? Event based Projects are ONLY Avaible during those Events, Events over = Projects GONE unless Slotted than it will stay there forever, its the same with the Summer Event, the Mirror Event, and every other Event Projects, only way it can be avaible after Event is if Devs Decide to do so, for example if they cant Fix it withing the Event Time, by extending the Time where People can Slot it, until they Fixed it, other than that NO. So could you Please stop your Wrong Informations?
Add me to list of :" unlocked all 3 ships this year with 3 differenct chars. (did not get nor slot any ships from previous events) and only able to get discount on carrier. Even the char that got the cruiser / escort is asked for 1000 photos to retake the ship even when they have the ship in question equipped and active.

You can't use Tribble as a basis for this though. The Tribble projects aren't tied to the event, but the projects on Holodeck are. Just look at your rep on Holodeck and see that you can't queue the projects from the summer event. Pretty sure you're just trolling at this point.

So your belief is they have some fix other than what is on Tribble in play, and they just haven't rolled it out to Tribble yet?
Because if they roll out the current fix on the 15th...it won't fix anything without an extension. There would be no Q to talk to...

Dude.....really? with that totaly Poitnless Comment of yours you have Proven that you really dont know ANYTHING at all, and like the Poster 3 Posts above me said....you are right now Just Trolling...or you really dont know better....Tribble is a TEST Server, everything is avaible ALL the Time...you know...thats why it is a TEST Server so People can TEST stuff at any given Time....to Compare that with the Live Server....sorry but go Learn how things work in this Game again, than come back again and we can talk, Tribble and Holodeck are 2 Different Pairs of Shoes PERIOD. The bug at this time is the matter of the first 2 winter event ship's ... ((( if you had them before this year you may not have the bug ))))
The Breen Chel Grett Warship ship was not bugged for me due to doing the race for it last year on 28 toon's...
However The Breen Plesh Brek Heavy Raider is bugged .... i did the races on one of my toon's this year for it as well as doing the race on another for the new one......
A account that i set up for my sister is also bugged due to the fact it was the first time doing the race for all 3 ships she is unable to get the discount on the Breen Chel Gret AND Breen Plesh Brek Heavy Raider...
So i know first hand what you all are going through in regards to the bug... My question is would this be related to the other accolade bug's for special unlocks????

Got discountnfor the carrier on all 5 of my characters but no discount for the other two. Never had them before. Unlocked carrier on my 60 toon. Unlocked warship on my 55 an the raider on my 50 but only discount I got was for the carrier.

Yup, just to add to this - I've got the same problem. The Chel Grett I did last year gives me no problem in getting it across all my toons for 40. The Raider they released last year I just got this year on my main whilst saving up for the T6 as well.
The Raider is not working like the Chel - every one of my other toons it states I need 1000 to get it still...
The T6 that I got recently, that's working fine - 40 only needed on all other toons.
2 accounts, same problem: carrier gets discount - the others get none.
And again, just one ship can be slotted for completion after the event. The second ship cannot be slotted in any way thinkable.
As previously happened and told here too: event rep jobs CANNOT be added after the event is gone. That is the usual procedure. That will leave people with 2 of 3 possible ships on their characters.
As I understand it, you will not be able to copy a permanent feature from tribble to holodeck without messing up holodeck, where the feature is run differently. At least I would be very careful to try this.
BTW I was programmer for more than 30 years, just to put some weight into my opinion.
Test is never like reallife or you wouldn't have any bugs at all. All bugs would be eliminated before going life. As anyone here should know, that is not how it turns out to be.
Of course they cant just Copy Paste Tribble to Holodeck, but regardless, they Should put that Patch to Live ASAP - for example next Thursday 8th, or even earlier with a Emergency maintenance - even with the Risk that without Further Tests, it could Cause other Bugs. There is a Turkish saying, you First Pursue what is running away...Winter Event is "running away" if you know what i mean, the Winter Event is comming to its End, its TIME Critical, so if that Patch will allow us to Claim all 3 Ships it should be Implented - BEFORE the Event ends - Bugs that may come with it can than be Fixed AFTER the Event, without having to Rush. :eek:
It looks like the issue is those who got the Chel Gret the first year, before the current Reputation System was designed, are the ones not getting the discount.
There's been some discussion on how we might address this, but I have no idea where that stands.
So, for now, to get the discount one has to complete the Reputation project on at least one character at the full 1000 cost. The discount is looking for the completion of that initial project. If you acquired the ship any other way than via the Reputation project, the discount will not apply. That's my understanding of the issue.
I believe the easiest fix is to give all the players that can't get the Chel Grett because they got it the first year 1,000 Q pics so they can use your broken system as it is and not incur any more bugs from the fix.
Please get on this now.
Drop ALL current projects on all other games and fix this now.

did the 3 breen ships for the 1st time this yr got the t6 an all but the 2 t5's wont go account wide.
