Well then, If we're going for the far flung future... I would have to say, a good old fashioned Bolt Pistol , for all that messy "up close and personal" work, but for my ship, I would dearly like a nice little Nova Cannon! Hahahahaha :D

Nothing says, "Take That!" like a Nova cannon... although there is something to be said for boarding torpedoes...

      Hmm, tough choice.

Do we also get the physical/mental traits required to use them properly? If so, I'm torn between a psi blade and a lightsaber. And a nice Zat gun to fill that second spot. :D

My entire Away Team outfitted in Dire Wolf Battlemechs (All you freebirths know them as Daishis, lol). And give them the Natasha Kerensky layout. Two Clan ERPPCs and two LBX20s.

I would love an away team equipt with Sangheili Energy Swords and MJOLNIR Mark VI.

You could even sorta replicate the latter if the MACO armor wasn't so restricted in color options.

Armor is not a weapon is it... Sure you can smash someone with it, but if you define that way, than a car door would be a weapon too.

Space: Attach my Guardian with the Galaxy gun and load it with resonance Torpedos from starwars. One for planetary destruction and one for a solar system.
Was thinking about a miniature Halo Array, but the effect would be too weak because I have to downscle it to fit my ship and not sure if the Array beam can penetrate shields.

      Ground: DC-17M blaster rifle

      MJOLNIR Armor
      Why:

It's envirnonmentally sealed with full life support capable of protecting the wearer through un-protected re-entry, has built in energy shields as well as heavy-duty kinetic protection, night, low-light, thermal and (etc) vision modes, "augmented reality" capability camouflage capability, speed boosts, strength augmentation, and you can use an AI in it. (and i'd want the AI too.)

      and...

an M-41A Pulse rifle with underslung 20mm grenade launcher. Die, Borg, Die.

Dont you have to be augmented to use the Mjolnir?

Yes, you do. And the augs are not fun. Quite apart from the fact that the surgery killed half the SPARTAN-IIs and made a number of the others permanently crippled, say goodbye to having sex ever again.

I think I'd have to go with one of these... Wave Motion Gun or a Macross Cannon. Would have to seriously mod the ship to be able to use it though. :D

How about a Jawa ion blaster that we can get from the omega rep. It would put an end to the borg real fast.

I would then want the EMP grenades from TCW. Both are good against the borg on elite mode and the weapons we already have seem to handle "organics" with ease..

a P90 for when I wanna run around in my Stargate inspired merc outfit. Closest we got is the Omega gun, but its not the same. That's more like a MP-5.

Technically not a weapon, but a sonic screwdriver. Free exchange items, anyone? Also you could troll the Borg with it. Imagine using the Collective as one big party.

I am not entirely sure if a 40K lance weapon would fit on a Trek ship. in comparison the 40k ships are enormous. but it would be fun to have a Trek ship build around a nova cannon I have to admit....

for ground gear I would go for power armour and for ship gear I would go for void shields.

        can't limit myself to two

I love my P-90 (yes, I own one)
I would love to have a Zatnikatel

on the other hand the Nuke RPG from Starship troopers is worthy of respect.

and who needs a Bat'leth when you can have Wolverine's adamantium claws??
