I've about hit critical mass on the number of bugs in this game I can tolerate. Having your frakkin weapons end up in console slots, tac consoles in deflector slots wtf am I supposed to do? fly around sector space when I can and doff, or just use the game as a giant messaging client?
I set up my "Personal powers Tray", it works, then I change maps, it forgets them.
This happens also when I change ships, go to ground missions, change to STFs, change to a shuttle. Anything where a session change takes place.
Even when the tray is locked.
I have not saved loadouts because I have no reason at the moment to want to change loadouts for the ships, each has their own principle for what they do.
Rough numbers: only 1 in 10 changes does it remember the loadout (not forget them).
I can confirm the issue still persists after the latest patch but so far doesn't seem quite so bad.
Loadouts still do not accurately save every slot in the 10 command rows. Empty slots are randomly filled with powers & abilities.
On my Wells class, the command try & active space doffs randomly reset, but loading the saved loadout seems to fix it all. It still doesn't stop the random filling of empty slots though.
Weapon batteries are still all over the palce, randomly coming & going from the ship & moving about the inventory if i try to replenish a stack on the ship then change maps.
Some consoles are randomly removed from the ship if i change map just after setting up & saving a loadout.
So currently with the command tray bugs & loadout bugs on top, on this particular ship / build I have to keep loading the loadout to keep things in the correct place. The loadout icon in the loadouts menu keeps getting unselected implying to me the system is seeing a change somewhere that shouldn't be taking place. The loadout system still doesn't detect all command tray changes (if one is loaded & selected properly in the loadouts menu, change something in the tray & it will still show as being loaded).
Summary:
Command tray/doff/boff seating bug is still present, which means the loadout system still won't work properly.
I'm still having an issue with this across all my characters. Space tray gets messed up if I beam to a ground location. It's fine as long as I stay in space. Switching sectors, joining STFs, are all fine. The tray setup remains intact. If I beam to a ground location and beam back it's messed up.
The saved loadouts are also getting corrupted. After I was done setting up my space tray I saved my loadout. The tray layout remains intact but the circle next to the loadout button eventually(after relogging, loading a new area) goes blank. If I click the circle to force it to load it fills random stuff in the blank spots of my space tray. For example, it added Engineering Team and one other ability(I can't recall now) to my 3rd bar. I remove those, resave the loadout, and eventually it becomes corrupted again.
The other day while I was in the process of fixing my space tray after beaming up from the Academy I was disconnected. Upon logging back in my space tray was fixed so apparently it does remember the correct loadout somewhere in there.
I don't seem to have had items become unequipped from my ships lately. Even the battery slots seem to be staying put. I do have a shuttle that's currently missing it's weapons but I'm not sure when exactly that occurred.
please fix load out issues... still broken. why do you post it is fixed when it is not?
please add function where the game automatically temp saves your space loadout when you transition to a ground map... then when you load back to space it uses that temp save to restore loadouts.
or kill the loadout function... it is obvisouly borked and you guys dont have enough resources set aside to save all the information for each ship/bridge officer/abilities/items...
everytime I beam up from any mission, or any place my ship tray resets to a randomness I cannot explain. It is USS Columbus, but it happens to other ships too. Please fix this, it is most irritating.
Since the patch fix...it still ain't fixed for me either...
Given that I have a loadout tray that only looses the photonic displacer on beaming back to my ship...I'm not changing a thing and risking being in a worse position. Likewise with my ground loadout which remain (fingers crossed) fine to date.
The character and handle again is Garner@vosoros, least you need it Cryptic folk.
In the meantime, I shall continue the fleet mark and dilithium grind I have set myself for each day until I beam back and don't have to fiddle with the loadout again at long last. I appreciate you and the folk working on this problem, I just hope it's resolved for me personally some time soon...very soon
Lose all Boff powers from skill tray whenever I switch from space to ground, weather it be ESD, mining dilithium, whatever. I also lose the assimilated tractor beam from the Borg set whenever I switch maps, such as from an stf back to ESD space.
Each time I switch from ground to space, I have to reload all my boff powers back I to their slots, and sometimes my doffs. I have noticed that, even though I save over and over, my loadout doesn't seem to stay saved. I click on it to reload, and nothing changes.
Active Doff's still unequipping themselves on map change, Boffs not equipping when using a loadout. Sometimes when I hit the loadout the boffs load the weapons load but the doffs don't so I have to hit it again.
Logged in this morning. Decided to check on ship after a quick bout of DOffing and checking on base.
Noticed that my Nimbus Distress call was dropped into inventory. Checked my Science Vesta's loadout, surprised to see two active Red Matter Capacitors in the Inventory...
Ship was parked right at the warp in point of Tekara sector block.
Quickly checked my powers trays, RMC icon was showing in two spots. Decided to check on whether both RMCs would work, went to closest known point of sector space, Kobali System. Upon zoning into that sector block, however, the "second" RMC was "grayed out" with the little corner triangle saying "this item is equipped on a different ship", and the spot on the power tray dedicated to device #3 (aka the far right one) was "empty" now, instead of showing the RMC's icon.
Slotted the Nimbus distress call back into it's usual spot - "second" RMC went straight into overflow bag - despite the over dozen free spots in my inventory. Power tray slot remained empty.
Ability to replicate the issue: None. I did nothing to create 2x RMCs on my ship.
Ardrian@ArdrianDareau is in game handle.

This happens to me *every time* I switch from ground maps to space maps on all chars.
I'm using tray layout 4 with weapons in the separate tray on all chars.
Loadout saves don't work.
I've tried emptying the tray completely, logging out and back, then refilling. That didn't help either.
If I rearrange the tray entirely, it reverts back to the old set up.
Chars and ships I use regularly (along with skills unslotting from the tray):

***In addition, Tyken's Rift doubles up, forcing Assimilated Tractor Beam to change position, which forces Tachyon Beam to change position. Always to the same slots.***

Of my 5 active space duty officers all of them are removed, at least 2-3 at a time simply vanish/delete from my roster which no trace of them anywhere. I have made a loadout save numerous times, although this doesn't seem to do anything to fix this problem.

Issue: Parts of loadout in "Space mode" disappear when moving between ground and space.
Only those items and abilities that were added after "Delta Expansion" seem to disappear, because the older ones are safe.
Disappearance confirmed in Delta, Sirius and Paradan space(ZetAnd, AlfTri, BetUrs sector blocks).
Rarely it happens during Sector Space Travel in Paradan Space - that's where I saw message "Unable to load your items into loadout"(again, some abilities disappear too).
Parts of loadout disappeared on at least 2 ships (Chel Grett Warship and Risian Luxury Cruiser), so it's not just about one ship. Not only new abilities disappear (like Heavy Bio-molecular turret barrage) - for example, i recently added "Subspace Fold" to Chel Grett and it keeps disappearing as well.
Now here's an interesting note to the loadout bug Cryptic...
Today I bought your T6 Long Range Science Vessel. Set up the bridge officers and hotbars and then beamed to ESD and Starfleet Academy. No problem and no changes.
HOWEVER, I never like the bug when you click on the image of yourself and it claims your shuttle is your starship. I know how to fix this...I've done it before. SO, I dismiss my delta flyer and the image of me once again claimed my starship was my starship. I reclaim my shuttle...all is still well.
BUT, I beam up to my new starshi and hello loadout bug. WEIRDER still, it's the exact configuration of my old fleet T5-U version which swaps around a torpedo laucher with a beam array, drops the photonic displacement console compeletly and puts my photonic shockwave where the photonic displacer should be...as I set things up.
What the hell?
My character name and handle again is Garner@vosoros. I sincerely hope you guys can fix this one, because this is quite the insult IMHO.
my big personal trait is resetting meaning I can't all my functions of like Omega tak pattern my multifactor funds are gone on my face or yours it's gone calling for help to pull my powers are all gone resetting let them back out I loaned to new scene they go away how do I fix this problem
I noticed this after purchasing the Pathfinder (Long Range Science Vessel T6) and switching to it. When I switch between a ground map and a space map, it reverts my power tray to some weird hybrid between the way I had it set up from before, and emptying certain slots. It's always the same reconfiguration when I switch from a ground to a space map. Not sure if the cause is from switching from ground to space, or moving from space to ground. Saving a loadout did not resolve it.
To be specific, this happens when I moved to any ground map. Delta Command, Defend Rh'Ihho Station (Elite), Nukara Prime: Transdimensional Tactics (Elite), The Cure Applied (Advanced), Into the Hive. Each time when I returned to my ship I found the tray had reverted to the messed up configuration.
Also performed a test on the ground on the Delta Command map. I beamed down, loaded my saved load out, and then beamed up. The power tray was still messed up. I then loaded the load out and the power tray loaded correctly. Not sure if this helps, but hopefully it does.
Logging out and then back in appears to have resolved the issue.

Ok, so I fixed the hotbar stability by kinda revesing this process. I reclaimed my rhode island ship, dismissed my troubled new T6 ship and then got my T6 pathfinder back and dismissed the rhode island. However, now my ground image of me once more claims my starship is the U.S.S. Ventura (delta flyer class).
I'll live with this last bit if it means my starship hotbar loadout is stable. It beats where I was with things on my T5-U long range science vessel.
Everytime i switch maps from ground to space, my slottet FAW and Aceton Assimilator are always removed from the Big Personal Tray #1.
Flying a Recluse T5-U.
My Fed tac char is always doing this. it has been doing it for a very long time, hence why I only play it once in a great while.
Nytridrt@Nytridr
All my other Characters do not have this problem.
It happens every time I zone out of a mission or change from ground to space or space to ground.
I can how ever save a load out and get things back pretty quickly. I think only once or twice since the load outs came out that it would not put things back into my personal tray, but this hasnt happened for a while. Just the game forgetting the way I have my personal tray setup is the only thing that happens now.. I have tried changing different things on the ship to see if I have something that is bugged (something like the consumable bug that was happening for a while) but this did not seem to matter.
I have even tried to set my load out and then logging off and back on.. heck even stayed off that character until maintenance ran and that did not work either.
One other note. This happens no matter what ship I am in.
For now its remembering my loadout, so I can easily get things back.
What happens: When I log-in, I see that all of the ship actions at the bars (1/2/3) reset itself and cleared to some basics (evasive maneuvers, attack pattern alpha etc.). I have to re-arrange everything from scratch to play the game.
Character: Locutus@xXLocutusXx
How many times does it happen: Very frequently. Itll happen if I beam down to a planet and beam back up, my space tray will be totally cleared and ill have to resort it back out. Sometimes even logging out and logging back in itll do it. Switching certain maps will do it. It really does happen a lot and its soooo annoying at this point.
I have this issue now. Changed my Dyson torp and Console for the Delta one and my trays went haywire. Fixed them and saved loadout. No impact. Soon as I go to ground my ship trays are fubar. I only doff now as it's a waste of time to do anything else.
BTW how the hell is this not listed in the "known issues" for the weekly updates?
All characters @dhayesmt406 have the problem with the tray. I've tried the suggestion of saving loadouts once the tray is set up the way I like it and that will correct the problem. All I would have to do is reload the saved loadout. That doesn't work. I've tried it with both ships with & without saved loadouts. Various ships of tier 5 & tier 5-U. It is also happening with my lower levels characters as well.
I've noticed it a lot going from a ground map to a space map or if I try selecting my weapons to autofire, then next map most of my special items (borg tractor beam, subspace fold, chevron separation, etc) disappear. As you can imagine, this is quite frustrating when I've gone from a ground mission back to space & need my special abilities & have to reset them, especially if I come under attack fairly quickly. My bridge officer powers seem to stick around, just ship item powers & the Quantum Singularity Manipulation that I received for clearing tier 5 of the Romulan reputation system.
Comments
I didn't do any workarounds, simply pressed save and both my loadout slots are working and tray is being SAVED too.
It is all weird, I have not checked other characters yet. Not sure if it shall continue to work, but it is works as it is supposed to atm.

The DOFF issue is only happening on my main character (Laurence Corrin@diotw).
Every time I transfer either to, or from, a ground map, all of my active space DOFFs are removed.
This character is why I don't play my Romulan any more. Tovan Khev is NOT my BFF! Get him off my bridge!

Access alt through 'Change Character', old loadout appears. I access loadout screen and reset to last saved loadout.
