Love Gun here, but you can call me Alex. I watched the development of Star Trek online since way back in 2007 when it was Perpetual's project. I played the trial for the first time in 2010, I liked it, wasn't terribly impressed. When it went free to play, I picked it up for a little bit more. Things really didn't take off until they added the Romulans, who are my favorite Trek race.
Now I've grinded through the Federation story line, and I have to say I am fully impressed with what they've done. The game has plenty of great fan service, it's generous with its Free To Play Options, and the writing and production of the stories is great. Plus, Cryptic has always done right by having the option for players to create content in the game.
So yeah, that's my story. My Character's name is Burke, Half Cardassian, Half Human, Tactical Vice Admiral. Hit me up in game, or talk to me on here.

Hi, welcome to the party friiieeend!
Just so you know, Tacofangs has been elected Forum Overlord, and forum members thecosmic1 and iconians are generally the most level headed, and are pretty much the forum sages. They know things...
Beware rage, as it is common on the forums in one form or another, especially if one of the subjects has the words Tovan and Khev, or has anything to do with change or lack of change... basically anything that can come up.
The most visible forum mods are bluegeek and askray, so if you need to try and contact a mod for any reason, they're the ones to talk to.
If you have any other questions... feel free to ask.
And don't forget to think of our Server Hampsters.

I'll stick to the Earth deity Vishnu. If it has to be an alien overlord, I submit to the Dominion. I have been known to lie for a free cookie though.
I started STO when it went free-to-play, and have been here ever since. But all of my characters are cats, so you will not be seeing me on Romulan side. I tend to stay on KDF side.

My level of 'constraint' goes well beyond the average expectations of most folks around here.
Serving up Steak Dinner may cost me a pretty penny, but the reciprocals I'd expect in return, could cost quite a bit more than a modicum of restraint, on your part.
