If they had a bundle with just the boffs, doffs, a few upgrade tokens and a Tier 6 Escort without a horseshoe on top of it, I'd pay for that.

Needs a bit more sweetener for my tastes.

Maybe a Voyager/Intrepid ship interior? I get that might come with a different bundle but maybe a variant of it? "Assimilated Intrepid Interior" or something would be pretty cool.

Does the Talaxian costume come with Talaxian customization options for aliens?

What are the bridge officers? How customizable are they? If they're species that REALLY interest me and they have Xindi BO style customization (ie. their own costume but the ability to wear uniforms), THAT would probably make for a sizable portion of the pack's value for me.

Maybe a Krenim, a Hazari, and a Kazon BO and ones that can wear custom uniforms. I'd expect Ocampa and Talaxians to be more common and more accessible through slightly more normal means. So I'd be more impressed by species that I'd expect to stay semi-rare.

Or maybe Kazon, Hiogen, and Borg to mirror the three main enemies of Voyager. Those are all species where I'd expect BOs to be rare as well although we already have Borg.

as far as I can see it seems like a good deal, what I need to know is will this be available via the c-store or will it be a cash only purchase?
I easy have enough funds in zen to cover this but cant afford to spend any cash at the mo.

if it is in the c- store this will certainly make up for the paid upgrade controversy for me, I get a few upgrades of my favourite ships plus all those T6 ships, please please let it be a c-store purchase.

no from what I can see looks like a cash only purchase. :(

When I think about everything we've been through together,

maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

and if that journey takes a little longer,

so we can do something we all believe in,

I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

Guys, seriously, stop complaining about how ugly the federation ships are. The ships are exactly that way for a reason. They're obviously based around the idea of stealth.

No they are obviously developed by guys who don't no trek. I play this game to fly TREK ships. Not Tron battlestar rip offs.

We will be posting blogs regarding the ships and all their wonderful stats and abilities very soon. :)

If those are the only ships being launched with this X2 then it seems like a lot of hype for something not that great. I kinda like the look of the intelligence ship but not so much on the raptor kinda like the hoh'sus where we won't be given any variants to make it look like a viable klingon ship.

Pretty much development had to atleast start after season 8's launch so being that is almost a full year of time to work on this. If pretty much all is done is a few ships for non-fed factions and then 1-3 more for feds and probally like one featured episode it doesn't sound like its even worth playing.

What would be cool would be a Tier 6 k'vort though as a 2nd intel ship and give it a true canon torpedo muzzle flash like where the enhanced battle cloak was show in that last TOS movie lol. Sporting a krenim chroniton time incursion torpedo for its specialty item lol. This is just my opinion to show some love for those little feddies and the kdf at same time...

Make the k'vort and give one of those fed ones a battle cloak but give it the usual kdf treatment on the fed battle cloaking ship where it won't work right but still get your gimmick profits.

IMHO not worth the price tag for numerous reasons, from T6 swindle to ugly design.

Them Fed ships look so ugly. No buy from me sadly, I would only be interested a Fed pack including nice looking ships, with actual stats before purchase..

IMO Phantom and Guardian will look better with other hull material , Eclipse and Scryer - look bad and not help them. Overall , the feds got cloak , (and how they later find in PvE is almost unusable and in PvP it is not the best tactic). Qib looks like a plastic toy, but maybe on it they still bit of work. MaHa looks cool and as I have imagine a ship with five fore weapon slots. Faeht looks like reversed Northrop B-2 Spirit :)

$124 + cost of upgrades to fleet/retrofit/whatever and don't forget jolly fun of T6U that they might want or need to peddle out sooner than expected.

For that price tag I can get far better deals elsewhere, ST IP is nice but not that nice.

    Yea... Not going to happen...

I was fooled with the LoR pack... I am not falling for it again.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

Unless there are some decent alternative skins I'm not shelling out cash for something that looks like it was made on an Etch A Sketch. All of the ships are just so ugly.

I think with some new hull material those fed ships could look better. I can see they are going for the advanced stealth fighter type look with all the triangular panels etc.

Not too keen on that escort, unless it has more custom options. The sci ship looks pretty funky and is very close to one of the original Perpetual designs if I recall.
That Eclipse is interesting as well and if as I said the hull can be changed it could look better.

That Romulan battle-cruiser looks pretty dammed sexy though.

To be honest there haven't been any true trek ships for a long time and anything released now is going to have to be created purely for the game.

Cloaking devices all round eh? Sounds like things just got a whole lot more interesting, and i'm intrigued as to what this new play style will involve. I'm guessing we're looking at more sneaky tactics than all out assault type as we've seen for many years. Be nice if it knocks the DPS arms race down a peg or two.

Just because something is stealthy, doesn't mean it needs to be ugly.

if cyptic had offered me 4 great kdf ships and 2 fed and 2 rom, i would pay $125 for that.
if cryptic offered a $60 pack and said 'pick three ships'. i might buy that too.
but theres no chance i will pay $125 for 2 kdf ships and a neelix costume.

    I am very disappointed...

    1) I have my zen and I'd like to buy using my zen, not paying again after buying/earning zen

    2) I have several toons, feds, klingons and romulans... I'd like to have the same options for all of them. Again we had 4 ships for the usual faction (at least one for each career), only 2 ships for klingon and romulans, none of them is a science vessel.

    3) definitelly feds get a cloacking device... so kdf and roms have no specific features

i have no problem with dlc's just recently completed the mass effect dlc content, sunk a few pounds in that. my favorite enemy harbinger is in this one on me2. anyway, the price tag alone is too much, combined with what i have seen so far and knowing its likely going into the z store after launch like the lor legacy and start packs have done means there is no great deal to rush over about it.

i wouldnt of had a problem throwing a few pounds at it like the starter pack on LoR and i was hoping the team could throw together something similar for dr. but since it looks likely never to happen, yeah, im not in any great rush to notice this pack too much.
    T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW.

The ships design is an absolute no-go.
And the stuff about the Commander Boff stations clearly confirms the most pessimistic speculations about T6 ships compared to T5 ones.

The cloaking device should be removed and limited to those ships thst already have them (backed by IP) namely Defiant and Galaxy Dread.

so for a measly 125 i get all the ships that are coming out at launch plus all new other gooey stuff wow really wow well at leat feds did finally get cloaking devices standard on the new intelligence ships . and before you other two factions start crying it is the 25 th century nd ccording to the shows by this time period lots of fed ships use cloaks why. its because the romulean star empire emploded so they no longer needed to honor a treaty with a defuct govement lookit up sometime when a country collapses and a new country emerges they don't usually honor treaties with the former country. and these ships with cloaks are intelligence gathering ships so them having a cloak makes some sense

Hmm. There seems to be a strong conceptual overlap between Science and Intelligence vessels. Active Sensor Array and Sensor Analysis ...

And it looks like Starfleet vessels with cloak are in now. :(

I'm incredibly underwhelmed by the Federation designs. Perhaps it's the material on the ships, but they don't look very Star Trek to me. I could see purchasing the Guardian at some point, but I think I will pass on the others. At least we can upgrade our T5's somewhat...

I think it's all the Materials, really. I think if they get a Starfleet white/gray tone, they would fit perfectly in.
