I assume by "Alpha Quadrant" you actually mean Alpha and Beta Quadrants. . . ?

I've wanted to do something with the four Federation founding races for a while. Clean up Vulcan and Andoria, add Tellar Prime, maybe tack something onto SFA, and have a mission that leads you between worlds to learn about the founding of the Federation.

Still want to do Ferenginar as well.

Edit: I'll second Anazonda's suggestion on the Pakleds. I love those guys. Probably won't happen though, cuz Geko hates them.

If you redid andoria it would be my new car.

    ...but you can't drive/pilot a planet.

Edit: Actually, Andoria is a Moon, and we know that Moons can be piloted. ;)

Edit: I see they're TOS, no wonder I don't recall them.

more vulcans. i can assume that we wont get any new vulcan ships becose it would be inefficient and there for illogical to mainain separated vulcn desingned ships while vulcans are in federation so much time. but maybe from a paralel universe where federation doesnt exists... who knows...

OMG this is getting out of hand...
even klingon could be orcs. but you should look tos.
    human - human
    vulcan - elves
    romulans - dark elves
    klingon - orcs

there are other races but you cant really compare them. ok tallerite with elves... but most mmos have thier specal races as that star trek unverse has theit unique races too.

    I think you've made a mistake?

Regardless, I was just pitching the Federation Founding members as typical MMO species, with Andorians being the odd ones out; more the reason I like them cause they're unique and different! :D

I think the Andorians are closest to another angle of dwarves, actually, that being the honorbound warrior culture part. (People tend to forget that the Andorians are the militarists among the Federation's founding members.)

In terms of size, habitat and appearance, your argument does not work. :P

    • The human similarities are obvious, I needn't go into them.

    • Vulcan/Elven - Both are suppose to be wise, both have extended lifespans, both are generally more advanced than humans (post federation in terms of Vulcan) and they both have their pointed ears.

    • Tellarite/Dwarf - Both are short, bearded (usually), and tend to be grubby. That and (to my knowledge) we've never seen any of their females; the mythical beasts that they are.

Size and appearance I'll give you; I was talking about culturally. But correct me if I'm wrong, don't they live underground to keep out of the cold?

Exactly my words. Cool ideas taco! What we really would have needed before Delta Rising was an Alpha/Beta Rising. I just hope the third expansion will not go to the Gamma Quadrant (YET), but polish/complete/expand the Alpha & Beta quadrants to be "worthy" representations of the rich lore that takes/took place in them.

I'd love to see what you guys would do with the Sheliak and Son'a. I'd LOVE to see Betazed, Denobula Triaxa, Terra Nova, and, oh man, Starbase 11 (Court Martial/Menagerie)!

Perhaps that would also be the best occasion to REALLY bring the quality of some early Federation and KDF content, namely Romulan Mystery, Fek'lhri Return etc. up a Featured Episode level. Most of the really awesome missions for FEDs, including voice acting by trek actors etc., are not available until level 20. Despite its "revamp", the Klingon War episode is still way below the quality of Temporal Ambassador, the Borg Advance episode or Surface Tension.

I like to see more on the KDF allies. Like the Gorn and others. It would be nice to see more on them. And you know some of the are having issues being with the KDF.

I would like to see more of the Founding worlds of the Federation. And to see what happened to see what happened to the Xindi.

lets see would like to know more about the first federation, tholians, terrans, gorn, and more about the Hirogen more about the big bad in sto the iconians of course, the caitans (however you spell them) would like to know more about the swarm, that race forgot the name but its during the episode called the Raven where 7 of 9 leaves voyager and find her parents ship crashed on a moon I think and voyager races off to get her with the race that controls the territory sending a fleet after voyager

I'm sure they've mentioned the idea of doing it as an expansion in the past. Would be nice if they also used it to finally knock the sector blocks into one big group. I know there were some horrendous tech issues behind it, so an expansion is probably the sort of place that it can be dealt with in.

    Packleds.

I think that they at one time should have held dominion over large swaths of the Alpha quadrant, but after the Iconians conquered them, made them into a society of idiots.

They're canonically a lot smarter than first impressions would indicate. They just don't talk particularly well (underdeveloped language center or some such).

they have intelligence. It's a little underdeveloped for what one would expect of a spacefaring race... but they're not as stupid as they lead others to believe.
