Today's patch download/install

No warning on this website (I looked where it seemed mostly likely to be). Download went mostly okay (very slow last 0.3%), installed okay. Crashed on loading screen.

Anyone else having problems with it? Or is it just me?

    There was no patch today. Patches are back to their normal Thursday schedule.

    There was no patch today as for the other issue that's a tech problem which means this thread is moved to the tech forums.

    My login is continually saying "login server timed out" after 15 seconds. Haven't played yet today. Cleared out all cookies, cache, temp files & web history. I ran a virus scan, did a restart on the tower and reset my modem. After everything it says the same thing. Not sure what else to do other than attempt uninstalling & then reinstalling the game...:confused:

    oh and it only happens while trying to sign in from the character selection. Then again it could be from my internet service being obnoxious. >.<

    The patch download/install I had was around 3 or 3:30 pm EDT today. After the crash on the CRYPTIC loading screen after the first download/install (1940MB in size), I logged in again and had another (but faster) download/install that also said it was 1940MB in size. No crash on loading screen that time. But after that, over the next five hours, I got kicked off of STO at least six or seven times. A fellow user suggested I defrag my PC's hard drive. I did so, and didn't get kicked off again after that. Btw, the file size that needed to be defragged was 1.9GB. I didn't dream this; it really happened.
