    Anyway, very interesting, congrats ... is there anything for drains in the science school?

    Yup, same Collimator UR. Adds part gens and +20% shields. What I'm curious to know is what heals makes both consoles proc vs which ones don't.

    It doesn't specify anywhere lucho?

    I would think it should say something, in regards like in the description info, or maybe attached to a skill.

    Are power insullators even working anymore? With the lame-duck yellow goop in the space battlezone, most ignore the fact that those damned yellow rifts are acting like a combo of GW+TR in the same ability. They suck 100% of my speed down and I cannot pull away. That's just the yellow tendrils, no goop on my hull. Prior to this update my sci with full insulators spec'd could sit in the center of one in PvP and simply move away with ease.

    So did these new rifts just break the game, or did they (Cryptic) TRIBBLE up and enter the wrong decimal point somewhere? It seems like the excessive yellow rift drain coincides with the time these super drain builds started showing up. Too much of a coincidence IMO. I think something's broken in the game mechanic.

    All I see in this post is either my escort or my faw spam boat can't win with me just pressing the space bar. Learn to adapt. I've done the Undine Elite STFs and battlezone and there is nothing wrong.

    FYI - My drain build was done the same week the Palisade came out. Nothing new in the game.

    For me it's not the annoying yellow rifts, it's the constant torpedo spam from the undine that slows you to a crawl, not to mention their annoying knock around energy weapons.

    Don't get me wrong, the goo sucks to, but is easily cleared with HE, as for the constant torpedo slow stacking procs, you need make heavy use of some serious speed boosts, or some form of movement debuff cleanser like APO (PH doesn't work).

    For me it's not the annoying yellow rifts, it's the constant torpedo spam from the undine that slows you to a crawl, not to mention their annoying knock around energy weapons.

    Don't get me wrong, the goo sucks to, but is easily cleared with HE, as for the constant torpedo slow stacking procs, you need make heavy use of some serious speed boosts, or some form of movement debuff cleanser like APO (PH doesn't work).

    Engi team clears them.

    See, this is what happens when Cryptic make content a little bit interesting and challenging, so you have to think a little bit and plan - people moan.

    It must really suck to be a game developer :)

    Exactly why I made my build the way it is. Some PvP aux2bat cruisers are smart and cycle ET/ST/HE so much combined with the debuff clearing doff that it's a pain to deal with them, but most players spam that spacebar making them easy prey.

    People hate dealing with sci abilities on NPCs and complain about them being too hard when they really aren't. If they buffed up the Breen to use Energy Siphon 3 with high flow caps (200), they would scream it's too hard.
