So, yeah....
Model issues keep piling up and no fixes in sight.
No B'Rotlh skin for endgame bops, ghost ship Kar'fi, klingon flagships miss their T6 & upgrade hull materials and there are issues with the bort parts + pretty much everything else from the previous pages of this thread.
I give it a few more years before the KDF getting any sort of real attention. I've pretty much given up on the KDF getting anything worth customizing. Just enjoy the almost non-existant customization options and half invisible ships for the time being. Also, I believe it's been over 5 years since the K'tinga has had nacelle glow.

It looks like another forum change ruined a link I posted in here. Reposting the K't'inga model site with tons of canon model pictures in both its TMP and TUC version.
I'm really happy with the improvements they made to the Prometheus model, but the Hestia... seems to have inconsistent design quality along the different parts. I wish they could have given it the kind of love in detail work that other T6 ships got.
Although I have a lot of points I have issues with here, most of my problem is with the lower hull. The rest of the ship is actually pretty good!
Saucer
Overall this is the best looking part of the ship, and appears to have gotten the most love in design work.
Shape is really good, although it's thinner and smaller than the Prometheus saucer. (And the shape of the bridge module is a little odd.)
Phaser strips on the top and bottom feel much too short, with the groove on the top and the pattern on the bottom looking like they were designed to follow along almost the entire length of the saucer. (If the top phaser strips got lengthened to completely fill the grooves they sit in, maybe the top aft phaser strips might not be necessary.)
Top auxiliary nacelle got an improvement recently to sit flush with saucer hull when not deployed, which is pretty cool.
The auxiliary impulse engines look cool as well, and the shuttered looking details next to them look like auxiliary shuttlebays, which is awesome.
Saucer has no aft RCS thrusters.
No connection points exist for turbolifts or corridors between the saucer and upper hull while the ship is combined.
No spots for locking clamps between the saucer and upper hull.
No recess for the bottom auxiliary nacelle to fit into while ship is combined, especially considering the space the upper hull's battle bridge would take up.
Has no visible hardpoints for turrets.
Has visible hardpoints for cannons, but they use a more primitive design not up to the current awesome standard for T6 ships, like can be seen on the older T5 Tempest patrol escort.
Upper hull
Battle bridge module is awesome, nice work there.
Auxiliary deflector array and torpedo launcher details are also really good.
No connection points exists for corridors or turbolifts between the upper hull and saucer, or it and the lower hull. Not to mention, there's no connection point for the upper and lower hull warp core assembly like on the Prometheus.
No locking clamps exist for when it's combined with the saucer or the lower hull.
Phaser strips feel way too short, especially on the bottom. The ones on the front top and bottom would feel better if they ran closer to the full length of the upper hull's "saucer".
Like on the pre-improvement Prometheus, the shuttlebay uses no discernible shuttlebay door textures, making it hard to tell where it begins and ends besides the mesh which slopes all the way to the bottom of the upper hull.
The module on the bottom of the aft end of the upper hull looks really cool, even if there's no visible place for it to fit into on the lower hull.
Has absolutely no escape pods to speak of, which is a serious tactical design flaw for when the ship is separated.
Has no visible hardpoints for cannons or turrets.
The shape of the upper hull's "saucer" (and lower hull's to match) don't line up with the indentation on the saucer so they don't clip with the impulse engines. Instead they use the default upper and lower hull "saucer" shape, so they clip.
Lower hull
Looks way too small to hold anything. It looks like almost the entire space in it would be taken up by the deflector and warp core assemblies, with the rest being taken up by the generous helping of escape pods. (The escape pod amount is cool, though.)
The lower hull actually looks like it was recycled from the launch-era model of the Prometheus. Sure, the dolphin-like sleekness and colors look cool, but... there's practically no room in it.
Has no hardpoints for cannons or turrets, and I'm not sure if it has hardpoints for torpedo launchers.
There's no visible signs of the lower hull's battle bridge, on the top or bottom of its "saucer".
The phaser strips on the top and bottom of the "saucer" of the lower hull are way too short, when it feels like they should cover most of the length of the hull's "saucer".
The phaser strips on the top aft section of the lower hull look haphazardly placed, considering the cool raised glowing section that appears to have been designed to overlap with the end of the upper hull while the ship is combined. They don't even align to the shape of those.
The lower hull also appears to have been awkwardly scaled down compared to the rest of the ship, with the "lip" on the back looking like it was designed to fit over the end of the upper hull while the ship is combined, which instead clips into it. It looks like this was done so the lower hull wouldn't clip with the saucer's cool impulse engines, but the upper hull clips with it and is normal sized, so it really just looks... odd.
There's no auxiliary impulse engine grills like on the upper hull, so the impulse emission points come out from invisible points on the aft tip of the lower hull instead.
Although it's a tactical ship design, it still looks odd that it has no arboretum windows like on the Prometheus. (An auxiliary shuttlebay would seem like a logical design choice, as well.)
One of the details I really like on the ship (although it's absent along with most other details on the lower hull) are the red glowing details that look like they were supposed to be the emission points for the Firebringer console ability. (The effects instead strangely come out of the nacelles, which don't seem like logical places for EPS plasma to come out of.)
Honestly, the ship looks to me like it got love in certain sections, but in others has become the surrogate launch-era Prometheus, down to even recycled parts like the lower hull.
MORE BRIDGE PACKS PLEASE. 1 of the things that is great for f2p players on a budget and as a p2p player back in the early days for spending our monthly stipend on was bridge packs and I feel you are overlooking the huge possibilities for revenue and renewed pride in ship interiors here. Why not spend some time making existing bridge packs have a few tweaks to their lower decks to differentiate for a start then add some new bridges as standard alone packs?. Many of us longer term players have screamed out for years for excelsior bridges, constellation bridges and some different styles of lab, engine room, sickbay and lounge. It strikes me that with the Romulan faction now well established and the 23rd century now in play you have massive scope to add new packs to the game after all one of the most common disappointments voiced by people I know who play Romulan faction is that there is no variety of bridges to choose from. Even vulcan d'kyr could do with its own bridge after all the Andorian Kumari got one. Just something to think about maybe add more decor customisation options to like the trophies slots but add packs of interior items such as rugs, banners, Tuvocks tea set or Tom Paris's replica tv set... Oh and make those packs account unlock too just like bridge packs after all too much greed is a bad thing.
I've found this little Bug in the Excelsior Retrofit model:
I don't know how well you can see it in the picture, but there is athin red line floating just under the nacelles. It is part of the Excelsior Retrofit Hull.

They don't sell - at least not according to The Powers That Be. And it doesn't help that, beyond appearing in feature episodes, we can't really do anything with them anyway.
They could, though. I play DC Universe Online and they started a lair system a few years ago where you can custom decorate a hideout as well as add amenities such as bank, storage, mail, consumable vendor, even crafting. Plus you can do PVE or PVP raids on your hideout, defending it from NPCs or raiding other players' hideouts.
I know many may not like this, but crafting, DOFFs, Admiralty, even Reputation could all be moved to the starship interior. Yeah, you might have to walk a bit, but you wouldn't have to travel for bank or mail or exchange access with the right upgrades.
A new rep system with holodeck programs that accumulate to points for traits, including phaser practice or combat training.
A shuttlebay to display your acquired ships.
Ship boarding team raids would be good for both PVE and PVP.
In DCUO you can also set up a League HQ, which is somewhat like the STO fleet holdings.
The reason Cryptic never seems to want to acknowledge of why their bridge packs don't sell is because they appeared to set out to put some serious functionality in the ship interiors and just abandoned the concept. To have to actually manage your ship from the stations inside would be incredibly immersive, IMO.
Nothing breaks the tension better than a tankard of warnog - except maybe a good brawl...

I knew using Kinetics would be playing the game on hard mode, but what I didn't realize was how bad the deck is stacked against Kinetics.

Well, as of AoY the chimera/manticore is also bugged again. So...yeah....now the 6 vet ships are on equal terms again....
