    it's been i while since i submitted a bug report. I think 2 months now. And it is getting frustrating that we haven't heard from anyone.

    Okay, so cycling through the images I noticed something very important: you had not expanded the Species Details by clicking the oval-ish Details button immediately above the rectangular Personal Traits selection button. Your Species Traits no longer require manual selection unless your captain is an Alien, which means that many species have additional benefits that are not immediately apparent. I don't have access to Joined Trill myself, but I can tell you that's where you'll find the Joined Symbiote if it's there. ;)
