I also had horrible nightmares... strange creatures chasing me, having to survive. The memories are a little fuzzy. But not as fuzzy as the rest of my childhood before I got the mark. After this thing appeared on me the rest of my memories of that time mostly vanished. My parents never found out who did this to me, I'm orion so it was assumed it was some sick joke from one of the cartels to get revenge on my Mother, but no cartel ever claimed responsibility.

kara: this is my library and cabinet of curiosities, from the time i was a child to the modern day i have been collecting artifacts and relics of occultic, magical, supernatural or simply interesting origin and chronicling knowledge of anything to do with the same. i can confidently say that this library has well over a million tomes and books and curiosities. *she raises her arms looking rather proud.* this library is my lifes work, ive spent many long years adding to it and i can say with pride that you wont find a bigger font of occult knowledge anywhere else, and no one but me can even get here because no one knows where it even is or that it exists. *she says closing the portal.*

(I don't remember that honestly, and I really don't know how it would work with Starfleet tech, especially if its hybridized 23rd/25th century tech trying to talk to each other. How do you inhibit warp drive? There are no interdictors in Trek. Besides... it might knock it out of FTL, but there's still the inertia that might be a factor. You really think I can just flip a switch and that thing will dead stop instantly?
I'll let Seras and west try and RP a solution, but keep it as ultimate last resort to save the station. Probably with a few EPS Conduits blown out in the process.)

*as the three step out of the portal they find them selves in large room lit with candles that adorn the walls and edges of what look like shelves. rows upon rows of bookshelves and display cases line the walls and fill the room. the roof is still well lit and stretches for what looks like a few hindered feet with books entirely filling the shelves that line its walls, on the ground floor there is near endless amounts of strange looking artifacts and relics from countless origins. weapons, jewelry, armor, odd looking bits and baubles and trinkets, all neatly kept with in its own magically sealed and warded case.*
kara: this is my library and cabinet of curiosities, from the time i was a child to the modern day i have been collecting artifacts and relics of occultic, magical, supernatural or simply interesting origin and chronicling knowledge of anything to do with the same. i can confidently say that this library has well over a million tomes and books and curiosities. *she raises her arms looking rather proud.* this library is my lifes work, ive spent many long years adding to it and i can say with pride that you wont find a bigger font of occult knowledge anywhere else, and no one but me can even get here because no one knows where it even is or that it exists. *she says closing the portal.*
