valendria: *shrugs* either way its over now so i dont know what else there is to gain by remaining here. *her demeanor is much more cold then usual matched by relatively straight face expressions.*

lythe: i was training to become a farseer, which are some of the strongest psions among the galaxy. i dont think its a good idea for me to even touch the stuff.... *sighs* its.... difficult for eldar to have free time. we occupy every moment of our time with our daily tasks so we refrain from using much of our emotions. imagine your average feeling, the satisfaction of something you did for example, for me it would be a much stronger feeling. our emotions are far more intense in strength then other races, for example what angers a human for a brief moment such as a minor insult or playful jab of some sort would enrage any eldar not in control, they would act with murderous intent being personally insulted by the act of something so small. its what makes us so hated and feared where i come from and its a constant balance i must keep in order to retain control.....

Briana: Yeah... lets try not to worry too much since he left thankfully *continues to eat, enjoying the food she's made* Hopefully we're back on the Lexington soon before I go back to full duty. Have a semblance of normality... do you remember that time some of the crew back home did a play? I think it was hamlet.... Wish we could get something like that here but a musical.

Dundee: wait... yes to Him using it as an excuse to brag or a yes to you think he actually forgot the knife?

*Alex gets a message, Nick says he has a stupid question that he's musing on for no good reason as he smokes. Would alex use Human shampoo, human bodywash, or animal shampoo? He goes on to mention how he's known friends to use Horse shampoo in the past for no good reason.*

(I have a friend that actually does this. I don't understand why he does. His hair looks good but its like... dude why?)

(Also apologies on not posting. I was celebrating a friend's birthday (different friend, not horse shampoo guy) and we went to a german tavern, an Irish pub with the best wings, a tiki bar, and a few others. I was the designated driver the later part of the night so I only had alcohol from the Irish and German places since that was around lunch and we didn't leave until very late.)

alex: yes *he repeats to dundee, then replies that he has to use specialized high-lather anti-shed shampoo to prevent needing to use up half a bottle just for one shower and to minimize drain clogging*

(there's also the matter of flea and tick fighting, but he isn't about to mention that part...and no, i don't know if it's actually possible to make some shampoo types lather up more per gram of gel used compared to other types)

Rax: Maybe you should dilute or inoculate yourself against emotions? We have a group back in my galaxy called the Jedi who repress their emotions so they cannot be corrupted, but it often fails because they are often unprepared for strong emotions.

Kayla: Probably a good idea. That way we can monitor your condition, and cut off the training if something goes wrong.
Also having a baseline to compare to in your normal state would be helpful as well.

This is really uncharted territory T'Lera. I don't think we've ever encountered anyone in your situation before. *puts a hand on her hip* Just like with Krystal, we're pretty much writing the book on this. But then again... with this crew... unusual is normal around here.

Rax: Hmm... something is tied to you. Something dark, I sense a hunger almost like what I felt when Vitiate consumed Ziost. *He sighs* I think a meditation could help you, but whatever is tied to you needs to be severed. Maybe then you will have an easier time controlling your emotions. Unfortunately, I sure as hell am not equiped for something like that, you'd need Oculus, Ethrit, the Wrath, or the Bar'sen'thor to try such a thing, they're much more skilled in such things than I.

lythe: in my galaxy there is whats known as the immaterium. its an alternate dimension that underlies the normal four dimensions of our material universe. its a vast sea of energy that was born with the existence of sentient life. any thought, dream, nightmere, desire, fear, and the like have impressions in the immaterium. its also what powers all psychic ablities and things considered to be "magic". events with in the material universe effect the immaterium as well as all sentient life in the universe. due to all the constant death, war, and hatred the immaterium has become a hellscape of torment and suffering. with in the immaterium there are beings we call daemons, they are twisted reflections of the material plane and at the top of them are the chaos gods. one reason the eldar are so hated among the rest in the galaxy is because due to our innate psychic strength and intense emotions our unrestricted use of both birthed the fourth chaos god since the immaterium is a dark reflection of the material universe.... the god that was born of our mistakes is known as the prince of pleasure, slaanesh..... *she tenses from just saying the name.*
