No, the implication is that Worf+Tuvok together with VOs would cause every bad guy within 50 miles in-game to spontaneously explode from the pure awesomeness.
Yea, that and also the opposite of Worf wrecking things up. He's the Klingon Ambassador to the Federation, and played a major role in opening up the Solanae Dyson sphere. It'd make sense that he be there.
Looking forward to this, Its always nice to have new content, and judging by the level of the recent content, I expect it will be very fun to play. Not to mention the fantastic job the environment artists have been doing ( seriously the older content compared to the newly released stuff looks like its from two different games sometimes, in a good way )
keep those development teams busy cryptic, I'm hoping for even more in the long run:P
These are the Voyages on the STO forum, the final frontier. Our continuing mission: to explore Pretentious Posts, to seek out new Overreactions and Misinformation , to boldly experience Cynicism like no man has before.......

Tacofangs gets my personal award for Best Dev of 2014. And it's not even May yet...
1 Mission does NOT really constitute a feature episode which uses to be at least 4-5 missions. I am not the only one who wants a wholly story (or visual enhancement to old feature episodes like the DS9 one) based update. I know reputations do give snippets of story every rank, but those snippets really only add up to 1 mission's worth (e.g. Dyson rep was Voth want to use omega particles to stop people from entering their space and Nelen Exil (who looks different in cutscenes to the one players get, kind of disappointing) wants to defect because of this). At least there are some revamped missions to go through which according to those on Tribble have been changed a lot.
Going back, the only time we got a real full length feature episode recently was LoR (Legacy Of Romulus) which was the Nimbus arc (LoR also gave us multiple episodes worth of missions just for Romulans).
I don't mind rep related mechanics too much, a space battlezone seems interesting if it's rewards are comparable to the ground, but this update (S9) seems to be solely about 3 things, Undine Rep (and changes to Undine mechanics that were desperately needed), New Kit mechanics and redesign of ESD. Comparing to S8, which gave us a whole new enemy faction, new adventure zone (which thankfully isn't as tedious or full of people who get really upset when you kill something hostile as New Romulus), new rep and a 2 part (3 if you count S8.5) FE. Makes S9 seem a bit weak in comparison.
Maybe there will be a stealth patch to the foundry which will generate pre-set Voth ground contacts and the ability to use all uniform choices (or at least the romulan republic ones) on custom ground contacts.
If you can't solve it logically, solve it like a moron.
51 + 1 Foundry Character Slots is NOT enough. Some of us love our characters. If I want to buy more character slots, why can't I? I couldn't experience the entire Delta Recruitment event without deleting a character.
The Iconians themselves can't time travel because their memories revert, but there is nothing to say an Iconian couldn't write everything she needed to do on a PADD, pin it to herself, travel back, read the PADD, do the tasks and return. Or just get one of her Non-Herald underlings to go back in time for her.
Oh yeah, I do Foundry missions for both KDFs and Feds. Just search KSTF (Short for Kinas Special Task Force, where Kinas is the name of the Admiral you will be serving under). The earlier ones are less story based and more combat based, while the later ones have a much heavier story element, but keep the large battles.
So the only FE bonus this episode is getting is the ability for characters under 50 to play it?
Based on past experience, my guess is that it will be available to all characters level 10+ for a limited time. After this, it'll probably be stuck on the end of the Solanae Dyson Sphere FE series and only be available for level 50 toons.
C'mon bro, plucking an entire SUN out of space and teleporting it to another part of the galaxy? Nevermind the huge constructed sphere around it. Im sorry, but unless the sphere builders are some sort of low level Q, or had Q helping them, thats ABSURD.
At this point, after that stunt, Im going to NEED to have the sphere builders be low level Q. Then I'll buy it. Maybe these low level Q wanted a people to worship them, and they provided incredible technology to their people. Then the half Q got tired of those people and moved on to something else, leaving the regular people without their "gods" to keep the tech working properly and the people had to abandon the spheres.
The technology and energy required to build the sphere in the first place would already be proof that the race behind them were advanced beyond our own comprehension. Whatever ability it has to move that sphere would also be able to transport anything within the sphere otherwise it wouldn't make much sense being able to move the sphere at all.
Since we know (from STO) that the Iconians were behind the construction of the spheres (though we don't know that they actually built the spheres themselves), we already know that the Iconians are far more advanced than we are so I don't see it as that big a jump to assume they'd have that sort of capability.
Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!
This is the Romulan Republic Dreadbird Fvillhu Thea, galae'Enriov t'Prell commanding, to Captain-Specialist Trendy of the P.W.E. Community Management: Fvillhu Gessatra sends her regards, Captain-Specialist, and commits the fleet of the Tal'Diann to stand with you against the Undine threat. End message.
Will there be a limited time reward or will all rewards be available indefinitely?
I would say that since they allow players of all levels claim the prize, but not able to use it until they are level fifty, means that the big prizes are time bomb activated for detonation...er available for only a limited time!

Didn't the Solanae build them? Last time I checked, almost everything new and shiny for the past season and a half (two seasons now, I guess) has been white, purple, and black Solanae tech. We haven't seen any actual Iconian constructions in a while, aside from a few variously-sized gateways that Iconian High Command was letting the Tal'Shiar use (Some of which are Solanae-style too... Has the Iconian engineering department been getting lazy, or are the square gates an outdated model?).

You must not have seen this post by bort, then, I guess:
Do we know yet if we can play this with a team of friends or is it another single player experience?
I'd like to know that myself. Though I prefer to play alone, I want to be able to take bridge officers with me in the new episode and it would be nice for players who like to team up to do so. The last 2 new episodes, "Sphere of Influence" and "A Step between Stars", were completely solo and you couldn't even take an away team of boffs with you.
I really hope Cryptic doesn't think it's trendy to keep adding new solo missions because it's making our boffs more and more useless. :P Heck season 8 only had the Dyson Sphere Battlezone where you can take 2 boffs with you and I don't recall any other season 8 content you can take boffs. Edit: The revamped federation tutorial doesn't count. :P

That and I want to know if my mate and I can play this together. Cryptic should really make this clear in the blogs TBH.

Hmm ... the (science fiction) concept of moving entire worlds and STARS along with them is not necessarily implausible.
In essence, the Pierson Puppeteers are far more innovative & technologically advanced than most other civilizations.
Arthur C. Clarke's 3 Laws:
1. When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong.
2. The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.
3. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
I wish they would be precise in the info:
After 1 May the "Surface Tension" will be only accesible to 50 level characters - ok. But will the reward be the same or changed?
I would really like to know....
I laughed. I cried. I laughed extra-hard when Shon tried to do the Heroic Sacrifice but Tuvok went all Vulcan logical and just beamed him out. I screamed "Yes! YES!!!! YYEESSSSS!!!!!" when Tuvok went all badass Vulcan and mind-TRIBBLE Undine Cooper. I shrieked when I ran into UndineQuinn. I LOVED saving Qo'noS, in full badass style in my Scimitar. I loved it even more when Shon manned up, took the honorable route and confessed that the Federation had been stupid. I loved the Gorn's response to that as well. I loved the Worf cameo, and the Iconian at the end...

this Has Got To Be The Best Fe Yet .. I Dont Know If Cryptic Could Ever Make One Better Then This ..... Thank You For Ending The War !!!!!!! Cryptic I Salute You!
Minor historical error with the Xindi Representative. At the beginning of the Xindi arc in Enterprise, Daniels tells Archer that the Xindi had never attacked Earth in the prime timeline. Then after Archer stopped the second attack on Earth, Daniels once again converses with the captain and informs him that the timeline has healed/reset itself which means that the Xindi was never manipulated by the Sphere Builders and the attack they instigated didn't happen. I am sure someone is going to contest this.

I think when the time line 'healed' itself, it healed from that point forward. Earth had still been attacked, they still made reference to the dead from that attack, Tuckers sister for instance was mentioned as being dead from that attack several times after that point.
