Do you ever have nightmares...
where you're trapped in a dark, damp maze...
lights flickering...
cliche creepy sounds...
the feeling that somebody's chasing you...
you know that something's behind you...
that it's caught up to you...
you hear the voice whispering, "Kurland here..."
and wake up screaming?
It's a nice bit of progression for Tuvok's character, with him trying to broker peace between the three factions, in contrast to his initial stance concerning Spock and the peace initiative he brought forward for the Federation and the Klingon Empire in 2293.
A Worf and Tuvok team up hmm...I can see it right now.
Worf "We must encircle the enemy cutting them off from their supplies then destroy them!"
Tuvok "A sound plan but no. Logic dictates that...blah blah blah....when I was security officer on voyager....blah blah blah....up hill in the snow with one shoe on...blah blah blah....So in conclusion we will fight the Undine my way.
Worf"Grrrrrraahhh the only fighting you seem interested in doing is with your mouth we will decide this by hand to hand combat!"
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone

They have an armistice, I think. They're still technically at war, but there is a loose cease-fire in place. Kind of like North and South Korea.
I'm really looking forward to this update. That screenshot is very intriguing ...
In Star Trek it was mainly 3 super powers federation, klingon empire, and the romulan star empire. Where fed and kdf were all about direct assaults and the RSE was all about subterfuge and misdirection. Then DS9 was pretty much all about the new frontier with the cardassian empire being a 4th super power that changed alliances like most ppl change their underwear.
I would rather be playing the game as all 3 being allies and not enemies because with future views in various series episodes the alpha quadrant is basically one huge alliance that battles threats worse than the borg and undine and is only way any of them survive.
As far as the loose cease-fire in this game its contradictory at best because its like you must work together here but if you take light year to the left or right you are fighting each other. IMHO it should be a war or no war but TNG bridged a non-war aspect but still rough on the edges and then in DS9 it took a turn from just peace to actual allies.
Another note though I am hoping they put some emphasis on if the undine have anything to do with the gorn rebellion and the true way. There almost little to nothing in terms of the gorn rebellion and the true way being actual threat especially when it comes down to difficulty when fighting them which is very limited in the game as well.

Well, like you said... DS9 made AQ the term for known space in that region.
It doesn't make very much sense, but I guess we have to go with it.
Funnily enough, what the Federation knows about the AQ is a very small part of the whole thing, too. So when the Feds say "we will save the AQ", some species at the edge of the Gamma Quadrant might just be "lol"
I am looking forward to the new episode, I am also happy that the rewards will include Mk XII (likely very rare) kits and modules; and new traits are always a plus!
Oh, and what "new" ship will you be releasing for us? I'm looking forward to a Undine lock box but another ship in the C-Store would be pretty cool too. (I'm waving my $20 bill at the computer screen, in case you developers are intersted.)

I'm betting Intrepid reboot.
For expansion 2/season 10, when the mission "State of Q" returns, Defiant reboot.

given cryptics reboot track record, the intrepid reboot would most likely just be a buff to the vesta, and let you slot the intrepid's ablative console on the vesta

Captains! The Undine threat is looming around the corner! Admiral Tuvok needs help in a joint conference to discuss the Undine situation. After the bugs in the last FE i would have expected this FE to be available for testing on tribble, but alas. And to be honest it worries me.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

This game desperately needs more mission content, having only gotten 2 new missions in the last year.
Commanding Officer: Captain Pyotr Ramonovich Amosov
Dedication Plaque: "Nil Intentatum Reliquit"
I shall stroke my Grand Vizier Goatee in the approved Totally Not Evil At All fashion.
Plus, my Jaffa have Death Gliders. I win.

I see what you did there.
I'm Sinjin, and this is my favorite post on the forums.
Player character is Undine and will be shot by Tuvok.
Wrong.
The Undine are an Arc plot.

That would be really nice.
I think I'd make a Fed science character just to try that out, actually.
You do realise it's not even a year since LoR was launched (21st of May 2013), right? That had quite a lot of new mission content added.

Whoa tiger... slow down. Kind of cart before the horse wouldn't you say? They just announced the revamp on the last Dev blog.
As we all know.... everything until launch is 'subject to change'. Then after launch it becomes 'subject to nerf'
