Sometimes, we've had immense fun with T1-only stfs...or other themed setups...though, as poor as I constantly am in STO, it's hard to keep up with appropriate stuff!

Well, my OBERTH OF DEATH is a tad bit OP. As I'm sure Trizeo will attest to. Right Triz? :P:D
STO: Where men are men and the women probably are too.
I support the Star Trek Battles channel.
sign me up for this. I know my ship is probly overpowered for this but I like it anyways. i only have two ships at the moment. my main is the fleet heavy escort carrier and my other ship is the jem'hadar attack ship.
i might be able to dig up another torpedo some where for the fore weapon slot if need be
Weapons that you have are fine. We can run a Parser to see where you currently sit on DPS output and help you adjust it if need be. Usually it just involves dropping your weapon power rating.
Is your forum handle your in-game handle? If not, please post your in-game handle or email one of the Admin's (@handles in very first post on this thread) and we can get you added to the channel.

We can always parse to see where you come in and make adjustments as required weather it be to your power levels or some consoles that we may be able to provide.
The point of it all is to NOT melt things as that is what the other channels are for. By lowering our DPS it forces us to work together more as a team. Especially when all your abilities are on CD.
i could also always switch the boff seating (normally run tac heavy but could switch to sci or eng heavy to get the DPS down) one of the good thing i like about the oddy
ZACKY!.. hope all is well my friend. YOUR Oberth is always welcomed.... Krunts on the other hand is OP! HAHA!

Last night's impromptu event was a blast... literally.
We got to show the Orions just how OP a T1 ship can be.
I used a T1 T'Varo(with top end gear), Krunt brought his Oberth, someone had a Constellation, I think V'Lel used a Nova. I forget the fifth one...
But we totally owned the Orions in a fleet alert. I don't know how many times I fed one of them a beachball of death. (and HY volley torps.)
Hi guys, Captain Aydihe Tefx of the Miranda-class USS Trial NCC-91948 here (yes, THAT USS Trial, they only added a "9" to the NCC # and called it a day...).
It would be a pleasure to fly my Miranda in queued content with people who won't look down on me for flying a T1 ship.

hello, i want to know if a Intrepid class (refit) with Ablative generator console, and all borg enhancement with only the hull visual (not the deflector and the engine) is alowed?
and also what about tricobalt and transphasic torpedo, and photonic shockwave? All this stuff appear in Star Trek Voyager , so can i use it

The ultra rare particle generator is actually the new Exotic Particle Field Exciter from crafting -- a very generous gift I received.
Not sure if boosting the quantums is what I should be doing or if I should throw another phaser relay on. Hits my 5k limit, so I guess it doesn't really matter. I swap the armor out depending on what I'm fighting. I probably would've broken down and gotten two +turn neutroniums by now if it wasn't for x2 coming soon. That and it's fun having one character that uses no fleet gear.
I know the mods on the plasma arrays are off, doing this from memory. They're not good mods, let's put it that way. I still kind of want to swap them out for bio-phasers, those look a little closer to canon, but the ship came with plasma arrays equipped and I decided to stick with that.
I've been interested in this for a while, though I'm not certain if any of my actual in-game ships would meet the criteria. That being said, I did come up with an idea for a Galaxy build based on the Enterprise-D. Thought you guys might find it interesting.
Admiral Katrina Tokareva - U.S.S. Cosmos, Yorktown-class Star Cruiser Admiral Dananra Lekall - R.R.W. Teverresh, Deihu-class Warbird General J'Kar son of K'tsulan - I.K.S. Dlahath, Vo'devwl-class Carrier
That does look like a good Galaxy build. If you put it together, I'd recommend moving your second arrays to the rightmost slot, since the beams will be spaced farther apart when they fire (can't thank Alyia enough for teaching me this), and it looks better that way. How big of a difference it will make really depends on the ship -- some have really good hardpoints and some have lousy ones that practically overlap the beams anyway.

Captain Bi Shonen's official Thread! http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?p=22866531#post22866531
I sent an invite to shonen@akurie which I caught in the old thread.
Thank you muchly for the time you took to do this for STB. I look forward to meeting you in game.
3 fleet advance phasers fore
1 wide angle quantum fore
3 fleet advance phasers aft
1 advanced fleet quantum aft

That layout seems fine. As mentioned by risingstar we can parse and all you need do is probably adjust your weapons power.
I personally do
1 fleet advance phaser fore
3 torps (fleet/MK XI green to purple)
1 fleet advance phaser aft
3 torps (fleet/MK XI green to purple)
For me and some others this set up is more screen accurate as it's less beam spam.
As mentioned by rising star please leave your @handle and myself or one of the admins will send an invite.
Look forward to meeting you Captains 07

Are these requests for invites? Need your @handles if they are
The Olympic, actually -- the goofy looking "face" on the front of thing always makes me laugh.
hopefully with my weird work schedule i will be able to join in one some epic battles
currently flying my fleet constellation-class
it was fun chatting with you guys tonight
@dragonsbrethren: do you remember the exact lineup we used for that?

(Yes, I'm also that guy who started the "Making the most unfortunate ship ever: the eternal Miranda captain" from a while ago: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=904531)

I remember that thread.
I'm goint to be logging on more again, as I can log on again, at last.
I actually like Delta Rising.
Thank you for your interest in STB!
Your ship and your crew are most welcome to STB. All I would need is your @handle so that I or one of the admins can send you an invite.
I did however use your forum name to send an invite in case that was it.
Hope to see you in game 07
Oops, I feel so silly that I forgot about that. My @handle is @Altecha. See you in-game soon!

something like this:
http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?build=cannontrepid_0
lol, all that is cool as far as I know. it's really just toning down your damage output if it's over the numbers.
I'm imagining four of us blasting anyajenkin's ship with constant Hazard Emitters...
(UFP) Ragnar
Thank you for your interest in STB.
Some of our Captains have kept visuals on their set which I do not have a problem with.
There is also nothing wrong with your BOFF abilities.
For an invite just leave your @handle and either myself or one of the admins will throw you an invite.
Look forward to meeting you in game.

Yeah, this was really just a bump.
