Uh sorry dudes but these 2 ships are hideous :P. The Jupiter is an abomination and the Typhoon is just a kitbash of parts from other ships. The Typhoon has a Majestic saucer, Celestial hull, Noble pylons, and doubled up Cerberus nacelles. They probably should have deleted the Typhoon files and replaced it with the Odyssey when it was put in. Starfleet has enough space whales.
The Typhoon actually has it's own unique Saucer, since it's much bigger and a bit different looking then the Majestic, and it's own unique Hull, since the deflector is extremely large.
And, sure, they could have deleted the Typhoon and replaced it with the Odyssey. But they didn't.
Just like they didn't flat-out delete the Jupiter and replace it with the Galaxy-X either. There are still instances of the Jupiter appearing.

The scale in that picture seems a bit off as well. The Odyssey is supposed to be the largest Starfleet vessel ever built, but it looks barely half the size of the Jupiter.
On an unrelated note, how did you fit all that into your signature?
To have it said - the Jupiter is way bigger than the Odyssey, maybe it's not 1500m long, but it compares to the Vo'Quv carrier (=1300m) as seen in Gamma Orionis block.
That's how I made the chart on the last page (the size charts on the wiki are mine), although I used the foundry and freecam to line everything up perfectly.
The Odyssey's nacelles are almost the same length as the Jupiter's, and it ends about 400 or so metres short of the front of the Jupiter (About where the hull tapers inwards).
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

One downside to the Feds having so many ships compared to the KDF and RR .

If anything it's too big, true the nacelles are 100 metres too short, however the engineering hull and saucer are much longer than the Odyssey.

ive seen what Typhoons end up doing from the mirror event, if i could get one even CLOSE to that kind of firepower then i very much support the addition.

I think the term "Dilithium Carrier" is referring to an aircraft-carrier vessel you pay for with dilithium (or you get free at rank-um, like the Vo'Quv).

It's been Brought up many times before and it won't be added because IT'S NOT A STARFLEET SHIP, it was an alien fake dressed up like a starfleet ship see the voyager episode titled "Hope and Fear" Season: 4, Episode: 26. My last thought on the dauntless is if it ever does get added it would be in a lockbox.
As for the Jupiter, If it has to be a carrier let it be like the Jem'hadar Dread Carrier and have some teeth, because I'd like it to have no Hangars and instead have a side facing weapon slot on each side.
I believe that quote was long before ships of the size of the Odyssey and Bortasqu' were added, let alone the D'Deridex and the Scimitar. The size argument has been nullified by the fact there are now inconveniently large ships in the game anyway. Time to get them in.

Also, you got half of that right, I am a child/kid, but I was not (intentionally) raging. It's just since S9 bugs have only gotten bigger. Today, my fleet went into shuttlebay. Today, someone beamed their jhas into new esd... today, a shield trait for ground allowed either/ or 100% shield bypass, Or the icon was misreading as shields took no damage. And I tried using omega, Maco and new undine shield, all were bypassed due to trait bug. The list goes WAY farther...just an example :P oh yeah and don't forget the so called single or duo pvp queues.... that allow full teams still...

Well, as often quoted, Cryptic has ship artists employed that have nothing to do with the process of bugfixing and similar - because it's their job to regularly provide us with new ships. So regardless if they're working on new ships or not - the time it takes to fix those mentioned bugs are the same.
So IMO they may keep providing us with new shiny ships while the other devs handle the "dirty" work.
Besides, in the recent interview on Prioritypodcast Al Rivera stated, they were working on a giant amount of ships for expansion 2. Just to mention it.
