    No Vulcan Jellyfish ship.

We can have the Jellyfish. It was in countdown which Cryptic has the rights for, hence Hobus, Red Matter Capacitor, the Vault, Nero's face tattoo, Sierra 1 uniforms (though nothing like the actual ones from the comics), and Borg enhanced Romulan ships.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

0 Stars for this *really, really* innovative and absolutely new idea /sarcasm

    Keep the Prime Universe clean!
Beta, LTA, CE, Multiple preorder Versions, all Addon Packs except AoY, nearly all KDF/Rom and ~50% of all Fedships, over 25 LockboxShips, Endurer of Atari's "Year of Hell", but...

yea just read it more, they said the scale up was for the FX shot, regardless the JJ prise is just a tad bigger than the original enterprise.

If you actually watch the extras it is a lot more complicated then that.

I think cosmic means this extra:

this is from the blu-ray and clearly states and shows the size as 725 meters.
You can't get around this, sorry.

And considering the size of the interior, it would have to be that big, otherwise it would make ZERO sense if it was the size of the prime universe Enterprise.

would never want to see jjcrap in STO.

Well except the Spock voice overs, which detail the aftermath of the Hobus Supernova event. And the Red Matter Capacitor. And the Nero Romulan Tattoo. And the look/design of the Narada as a Romulan lockbox ship.

Wow, there's a lot of "jjcrap" in STO already. Weird huh?

Aside from the license complications, I think changing the original ship would alienate anyone that wanted the TOS Connie when he acquired it.

Better to add it as an alternate version. Maybe together with the Kroehner version: http://static2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20080207200510/startrek/images/6/6c/Koerner_Enterprise.jpg

Of course, it might be cool if you could have parts interchangeable between the Kroehner, the Enterprise A and the JJprise.

As Countdown was specifically written as a prequel to JJ's movie, and included plot items from the movie, it is nearly impossible to say they are exclusive of each other. :)
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

Since Abrams is not mentioned in context of the creation of the "Countdown" comics in any way, only Orci and Kurzman, it makes little sense to pin anything on Abrams in this situation.

What I meant by "exclusive" is stuff that was not shown or mentioned outside the movies.

You need to reread that. The plot from Countdown came from a plotting session with Kurtzman, Orci ... AND ABRAMS.

This is all stuff from Abrams and his plot people. The tie-in comic for the Abrams movie is based on stuff Abrams had a hand in making up.

This is all Abrams stuff. STO is RIFE with, what you seem to enjoy calling "jjcrap." The game is jam packed with stuff JJ Abrams helped outline and create.

So you are suggesting that the use of Nero, the Narada, Spock, and Red Matter in the comic book - or that the comic book ran Jan to April and the movie came out in May - is all coincidence? :)

Lucas does not own Star Wars any more; and R2D2 is also in the movie. :)

Well, we can start with Hobus and the Supernova - which leads directly into the Iconian storyline that permeates all of STO. So a huge chunk of what STO is all about comes directly from JJ's actions.

That might not be what JJ intended, but Cryptic took what he gave the canon and ran with it. :)

On various Trek forums there are people still prattling-on about Spock's Brain 5 decades later. It's the nature of Trek fandom. :)

That's because the level of suck in Spock's Brain is so great as to last for all eternity. Personally, I'm surprised JJ didn't work it into Into Daftness, with Spock driving McCoy around using a remote control. :D

Actually IIRC, there won't be a star trek III JJverse. He's committed to Star Wars and I don't think we're going to get a III.

It is still JJverse, and JJ is still the EP. It simply has a different director.

Since they are doing an expansion this year and since it isn't a faction, I'll get a chuckle out of threads like this if it turns out Cryptic inked a deal with Paramount and CBS to do a JJ Trek themed Expanshalone.
