I enjoy this game, I think it has what it takes to last, providing it gets support from the player base, but constantly expecting / wanting things for free is not supporting the game.
Well, considering I've been playing for a little over 3 years, have a lifetime membership, and still buy a small amount of zen once in a while, I think I have the right to ask for something, even if it is just a suggestion.
What we need is a proper Romulan Republic flagship and new unique ships for Fed/KDF.
Normally I'd agree, but I'm kinda sick of the "unique" ships we've been getting lately. Vestas were ugly, regent was ugly (thankfully it has skin options), oddyssey is ugly (saucer is too wide for the rest of the ship), and the avenger goes beyond ugly. The avenger looks like something out of battlestar galactica rear-ended an intrepid class.

Romulan ship with 8 fore weapon slots and 10 tactical consoles and two hangers. Really, really big TRIBBLE wings that could not possibly catch or get stuck on anything while traveling in sector space. Better yet just make it big enough to launch it's own Scimitars and we'd be good.

I don't really care. It's gonna be a mediocre ship, because it wouldn't make much sense for cryptic to give away a good ship for free (and I've got no problem with that).
The Oddy and the Ambassador just take up space in my bank...
Could we possibly see the typhoon class battleship that I keep seeing pop up in the pve arenas? I haven't seen it in the c-store, nor being flown by any players. I've only ever seen it as a photonic ship ability. Just thought it would be a nice new addition, rather than waiting to see what cryptic designs this time.

I've been pondering the issue of the upcoming anniversary ship myself and my assumption is that this year we're not going to get engineering heavy ships but sciency ones.
We got (battle) cruisers last year and the year before that and we could get tactical ships during the winter events.
Dev interviews also told us the Romulans would be getting some kind of new sceince ship in 2014, so the anniversary would be a good opportunity to release that as well.;)
I agree. the players have been lamenting the death of science, and now it is very relevant in the sphere. I think they are waking up to the simple request that has been asked for the past 2 years. make science relevant again.
I would like to see a new science ship with at LEAST a 4/3 weapon layout. and before you cruiser and escort type start crying, may i point out that with only two tac consoles even an 4/4 configuration would be limited. and before you cry "nerf sci abilities" remember the escorts own DHC and cruiser have their command functions.

I think it is about time Science Ships got some love.

Personally, I'd rather see a new Vulcan ship before another Andorian one though. Maybe have the KDF counterpart be a Ferasan ship.
That said, we still don't know who the actor/voice talent they're currently working with is.. but it did sound like they would be involved with the anniversary event. If it's someone like Tim Russ/Tuvok, the Vulcan angle could certainly work. Conversely, Jeri Ryan/Seven of Nine would open the opportunity for a special borg(ified) ship.
I would like the Dauntless as a sort of Engineering Defiant and speed tanking being it's game much like the Risian Corvette but with some kind of different twist.
The typhoon is made from several parts of other ships... they'll need to give it a make over first.... failing that... remove the other ships it borrowed parts from.
Its gonna be a faction ship, not alien. Don't worry.

Whilst it polarises opinion, I'd like to see a Starfleet-developed Dauntless class.
I mean, it was a Delta Quadrant design so it would be both relevant AND would work in the context of the direction that the game is progressing at present.
I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to write a FE involving our player finding an abandoned Species 116 ship either inside, or just outside, the sphere.
Wouldn't mind a dauntless, but with the DQ in mind the Warship Voyager would be very nice.
I know it is/was the figment of imagination, but hey what the heck. It'd save the devs time since they only have to develop 1 ship total instead of 1 ship for each faction.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

What about the much talked about Galaxy X Refit/Fleet overhaul. Give it the Cmdr Tac station it really needs. OR at least : LTCMDR Tac, CMDR ENG, LT ENG, LT SCI, ENS UNI.
