For the Orion KDF characters.. (My main is essentially an Orion Female these days after all)
Female bare leg aption to include wearing of BOOTS, new sandels please, new decrative accessories (Jewelry, danglies.. stuff like that. ) dancing skirts (go look at Belly Dancers, Indian Sari's etc..just a bit more variety.. we've had the same base costumes since launch.
Yes, some of them could be C-Store.. NOT Lobi please.. to damd restrictive..
((side note.. telling we the customers its not cost effective to make new costumes, and then making new costumes and putting them in the Lobi store strikes me as just a tad counter-productive.. especially when MOST of the time your going to get 4, count them 4 Lobi from a lock box... I did open one once that gave me 6 lobi..Put costume bits in the C-Store.. PLEASE! (as single character ulocks.. or even have two versions.. single character, and account wide) Most of us are sufficiently intelligent nuff to realize that opening lock boxed for Lobi is not exactly the cleverest use of our gaming dollars.. Depending on people having more money then sense really kinda bothers me as your revenue model. Nothing you haven't heard before..but your really depending on people being somewhat foolish which is a not very "Trek" mind set... Ya'll say STO isn't a pay to win game. I look around these days and I gotta tell ya, lying to me is called salesmanship.. Lying to your selves is called "you got problems".
KDF as a whole.. More descrete costume pieces so players can mix and match more.. The Barbaric warrior splendor is more then a bit dated. More KDF Off duty cloathing options that fit the culture..(Lursa and Bator outfits, watch DS-9 again when Worf and Jadzia get married.
Break up the Honor Guard uniform into seperate pieces. I'd prefer to wear my vet shoulder pads with it. And I'd like the cape for wearing with other combo's..it is decrative after all and serves no actuall combat function..
We have ships coming. Looks like there is finally a trend to lay some ships on the KDF... well, you were bound to run out of possible Fed ships eventually.. shame thats what it took!
During 2013 the studio and team dug in and took care of some of the BIG KDF issues.. and we the KDF hardcore players DO APPRICIATE IT. There are how ever a whole bunch of, to us, little issues that need fixing, and a whole lot more on existing KDF story arcs that can be told. Costumes and outfits are second only to ships selection in the wants issue followed pretty much by more KDF story/missions/etc. ((and of course the Fed/KDF "aren't we supposed to be at war here?"))
We (the smarter of us anyway) realize bugs have been worked on and fixed on an on-going basis which is truely appreciated...Many of the older bugs are gone. those that aren't are "features" for which there is still some "Oh yea?" going on here and there.. but thats for another post, at another time.
Anyway.. wish list, a touch of critiqe, and recognition of deserved Kudo's. Happy Holo-idays Cryptic..
Regarding aesthetic customization: I would REALLY like to have tattoo options for more than just the face/head. All of the neck, arms, chest, belly, and back would be great. I can't even get a proper tattoo on the neck because it simply disappears beyond a certain point where it transfers from 'head/neck' to 'shoulder/chest'. Tattoos have to be on the face, basically, and it's such a limiting factor.
I can make a bare-chested Orion male or Gorn, but I can't put tattoos on the chest/belly that happens to be bare.
I've never been big on customisation, but I do notice that I always seem to create the same uniform for my KDF toons due to sheer lack of options.
Just for the sake of some more interesting basic combinations I would like to see the race specific costume parts available for all races. For example, Nausicaan armour would look pretty good on a Gorn y'know?
As for more general wishes I think a couple more ships is all that is needed really. The often requested science ship and perhaps another raider to go with the new mechanics, like a proper 5/2 glass cannon.
That's it for me, everything else is just icing on the cake.

Yeah, the big difference for me is whether my character has sleeves or not. I'm not big on fur-lined outfits, either. Right now my main's outfit looks like something off the Klingon captain from Star Trek V. It's not bad, but it's annoying to be so limited in what you can really do to make your outfit look different.
Also, the color palette isn't that great. Some colors just don't look good when combined with the KDF outfits.
I would like some decent, non-spiked boots in the character creator for KDF females. I kept trying to come up with a KDF alien character, but I couldn't get past the big spiky boots. Mind you, my joined Trill character would like some comfy boots too. She's been clomping around in a very un-Trill-like fashion for ages now.
More klingon only missions instead of getting to a certain point and just doing Federation missions, cept with a klingon handler. More raiding, more fighting like KLINGONS!
Also dedicated carriers from LT commander all the way to rear admiral.
Lt Commander- drone tender
Commander- Hanger for Small fighters
Captain- Two hangers for small fighters
RA- Vo-Quv ofcourse
VA- Basically a klingon version of a Battlestar from battlestar galactica. Holds a lot of fighters, but has some heavy weapons. Almost like the Jemhadar Dreadnought carrier.
Oh some more I just thought up. Ofcourse more Uniform options.
How bout some more klingon BLADE options such as: D'k tahg ritual knife, Mek'leth sword, Kut'luch assassin's knife, and Gin'tak spear.

* Racial art updates, largely for Letheans and Nausicaans to increase screen accuracy (seriously lol @ existing Nausicaans). Add females for both those races as well. Update Nausicaan unique outfit pieces with female versions, create Lethean-specific outfit pieces.
* Costume art update and additions. Beyond the aforementioned Lethean and Nausicaan items, revamp the texture work on the existing Klingon outfits. Add a new freebie outfit.
* A BoP three-pack featuring a 5/2 weapons layout, thereby giving the KDF a proper Kumari analogue as well as bringing in a new modern Raider to go along with the Raider mechanics update.
* Race-specific ships with different subtype leans. Ex., Orion ships are Eng-focused with a favor towards science, so create a T5 Orion ship that remains Eng-focused but leans towards tactical.
-- Rewrite the missions that were copy-pasted from Starfleet so they actually sound KDF.
-- Related: Dialog options for non-Klingons, because, assuming that the races are evenly distributed, only 1 of every seven KDF characters is even likely to go for the proud warrior race schtick.
-- A full line of Starfleet cruiser-style Mighty Glaciers to go with the Bortasqu' so that KDF characters can get used to the fact that it doesn't handle like the rest of their lineup. Maybe justified as supplied by a subordinate race (I vote the Ferasans).
-- More T5 science vessels besides the Varanus.

I just want to keep the "Q's Winter Wonderland" banner off to the side... the best part of the whole event is being able to Transwarp to the First City transporter pad from any location (ground or space) at any time (other than combat) at zero cost. Actually... let's broaden that. How about just plain making improvements to the game?
[COMMENCE RANT] (You asked for it OP )
Is there a reason we have to beam to our ship to Transwarp? Why do I have to click a button (Beam Up), go through a loading screen (to my ship), to click another button (Transwarp), to go through another loading screen (to my destination), to finally get to the Transwarp locale? Why waste system resources shuffling us around through so many intermediary maps/instances? It's not like most of the star systems even have that much to look around at, and there's almost nothing at all to interact with.
Similar issue with the Rep Mark/Rep Widget --> Dilithium projects... dilithium refining is capped at a daily limit, so why do I have to mess with sliders in order to convert them? Just add them to the Rep Store and let us convert to dilithium from there as a purchase transaction. Sliders are not a gameplay enhancement, nor are 15 sec projects that reward something that is already time-gated. It's redundant.
Oh, and remember the Sell tab under the Dilithium Store? I do... it was nice, being able to sell my TRIBBLE at vendor prices without having to queue standing in front of one. It didn't break the game when that went away, but it didn't improve it either; mostly just an inconvenience. I'd pay Zen to get that option back, though; call it Replicator Efficiency and have it let us Recycle our garbage at a decent vendor price :P
Then there's Tour The Universe... can we stop wasting Today's Events space on it and just add the mission as a Daily? There's no real benefit from having it available as an Event as opposed to a Daily, since it can only be run once per Event anyway thanks to the nerf. Actually, along similar lines, can we get the Vault Shuttle Event modified to improve the rewards of all Small Craft missions completed during the Event... then maybe add some more Small Craft missions and KDF (and to a lesser extent Rom) Small Craft to the C-Store? I notice a TON of Small Craft options on my Fed, but the other two... well, Fed Roms can use Fed shuttles, so mostly KDF... but you get the idea.
And yeah... the Klingon Empire is not the Federation. There are less than honorable cultures that nevertheless contribute to the Empire, and some captains are members of those cultures. I suppose you could justify the homogenized dialog based on "but you're a KDF captain, so you follow KDF military procedures and culture, since you went to the KDF Academy", but that leaves us needing dialog updates to at least make the episodes sound more KDF, even if you duck the member species' dialog distinctions. Maybe make a competition among Foundry authors to adjust those missions, rewarding a Lifetime Sub or even just plain Zen as a reward to the winner? Plus, of course, bragging rights for making the end-game episodes sound Klingon. I'd vote for the author that did write some species-specific dialog options, btw
And bugs... there are more on the KDF end than the Fed, but both sides could benefit from the next Season being Spring... especially as it pertains to cleaning. Actually, that's self explanatory, so on the the next bit of rant...
Parity. You've got a brilliant start with unlocking Level 1 access to the Klingon faction, improved tutorials (loved those, btw), and adding the first end-game ship to the C-Store's Klingon tab since I started playing... now let's just maintain the momentum and finish balancing the two "primary" factions so you can make more money off of Klingon players. I do support adding Deltans and/or Risians to the Federation, however, since the Federation currently lacks giggly-bit parity when compared to the Klingon Empire's Orion "Slave Girls" (that we all know are really the ones in charge, like better looking and half-naked Undine). Betazoid wedding attire would unbalance the entire giggly-bit equation, though, so stick to Deltans and/or Risians rather than adding that as a Costume Unlock...
Oh, and no Arc. I tried it, it didn't provide me with any functionality beyond that already available using Alt+Tab and my actual browser. A waste of time and resources that PWE could invest in improving their games, rather than developing a new data mining tool... leave that to Facebook and Google. While not the STO team's fault, no Arc is still on my wish list.
[/CONCLUDE RANT BECAUSE I'D RATHER PLAY MY KDF CHARACTERS]
Hey, you asked for my wish list. Sure, it's not all KDF, but there it is...
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
Orion/Gorn/Nausicaan ship interiors/self-contained bridges. The red Klingon industrial look just does not match those ships.
More customization options would be nice, but I'm at the point where I've just learned to live with what we've got(Most of my characters look the way I want them to at this point).
An Orion Support/Tank-Dreadnought is something I would personally like as well, but the Fleet Corsair does already cover most of what I would want from it. (Ideal would probably be: LtCMD Tac, CMD Eng, En Eng, LtCMD Sci, En Sci, 44k~ hull.)
If I had to choose just one KDF addition, it would be the former though. I cringe every time I enter my Corsair's bridge/interior.
* More Gameplay revolving around different species customs (a miniseries or area of space to resort to pirate or mercenary life, for example, for my Nausicaan Warlord. Right now the closest I have is the Pi Canis Sorties, and they aren't that thrilling )
* "Acting Captain" - the ability to swap my current captain's position with one of my officers (mainly because my ultimate goal with my KDF character is to fly a Jem'Hadar Attack Ship with a Jem'Hadar officer at the conn. Victory is Life, suckas!)
* More KDF Ships, more T5 ships from other species, more costume options, more content, bug fixes, you know...
Personally I would kill for the ability to freely mix and match different outfit categories.
I would love to put my orion in her metal bikini base and then trick her out "fully" with Elite Honor Guard parts such as Boots, Guantlets, arm attachments, shoulder pads, collar, etc.
I'd like to see BoPs get a good revamp. Something a bit more than just the flanking bonus. More HP, give them the Fleet Norgh's boff layout and give the Norgh a 10th console. They'd still be the weakest ships in the game in terms of HP, so why not sweeten the pot a little?
I'd like to see a Negh'var reskin, and ideally I'd love to see a Negh'var Refit c-store ship equivalent to the Regent-class and the Fleet Negh'var changed accordingly. By the same token I'd like to see c-store versions of BoPs like a Hegh'ta refit and Norgh retrofit, with a Fleet version of the Hegh'ta. Obviously with fleet ship module discounts attached.
Though I don't have a Ferasan character, I'd still like to see a Ferasan ship released because again, KDF needs more ships.
As far as mission content goes, I'd like to see some more KDF-specific storylines, maybe a FE series that for once caters to the KDF side. For grind purposes, it would be nice to have more PVE content that awards fleet marks.
From blogs/podcasts, we've seen that the Plesh Brek is a "testbed" of sorts for upcoming tweaks to the KDF Raiders. It would be nifty to find some balanced point between where they are now and what one can do in a T'varo. Just saying...KDF Raiders need some love.
They've also said that working on new KDF ships will actually involve new Klingon ships before KDF member species ships. I think that's great and all, but uh - there are a bunch of member species ships that are already in the game and would likely require less work in being touched up to be made player ships than doing new ships from scratch, no?
There's an opportunity there, to share with the KDF, along the lines of the way things have been shared with the Feds. There's the opportunity to bring an actual Cruiser to the KDF.
Course, there's also been talk of Fleet versions of current ships as well...and while that's all nice and all as well, there's something that bugs me about some of the current Fleet versions of ships - that's the BOFF layout.
For example:
Scourge Destroyer Retrofit (200k FC)
Fleet Scourge Destroyer Retrofit (20k FC & 4 FSM)
X
I'd pay the additional 200k FC to be able to use that BOFF layout on the Fleet version. There are several ships, imho, that are like that...just looking at Retro to Fleet, where the Fleet's BOFF layout guarantees I'm not going even to look at it for more than a second before I /facepalm it.
Then you get into the MU ships - and - how awesome would it be to have the MU Vo'Quv BOFF layout at the Fleet level, eh?
So yeah, it's perhaps far more delusional than thinking we'll see the member species ships already in game...but some sort of options there for the BOFF layouts would be nifty. I mean, look at the Corsair Retro/Fleet Corsair, eh? It goes from LCdr/En to En/LCdr...what's up with that?
Course, it's not all about ships. It's about what we do with those ships (and I guess other stuff too, ahem)...
...but something that I've felt missing in the game is Raiding Missions akin to the Fed Patrol Missions. Something else would be an attack on SB24, much like the Feds defend it - let the KDF assault it. Something that might be grasping at straws and highly delusional on my part...but given the historical replay nature of the game, would be an expansion on the conflict between the Klingon Empire and Federation (regardless of where the story is going, 99.99% of anybody's time in the game is spent in replay anyway).
While playing Barbie & Ken the Star Trek Fashionstravaganza has never been my thing, there's little doubt that the KDF need more costuming options. Cryptic threw it in everybody's faces with the freebies earlier in the year. Oh, it was an awesome gesture on their part - but it really caused some folks to take a look at just how many options there were for Feds and how all but non-existent they are for KDF. Heck, the options the Romulans got from the start was a slap in the face (awesome job, but slap in the face). There are a bunch of NPCs sporting various garments that I'm sure players would love to throw money at to get.
Oh well, that's enough rambling from me for the moment...
I'd also like to see a mercenary option for non-KDF classes if they should so choose. Example if I choose to play orion, I don't have to be part of the KDF, I can be a total merc, just I do jobs for the Klingon empire and they give me access to ships and weapons for getting the job done, unless I go pirate and attack KDF, well then I'm SOL.
Also love to see an Orion home planet or base where you can set up to go pirate and raiding.
Maybe some stuff like that.

Oh well, that's enough rambling from me for the moment...
Nah, I think you should keep going... you actually reminded me of another oddity of the KDF Fleetyards, prompting another thing for my wish list:
Can we PLEASE get T5 Retrofits of Fleet ships, and Fleet ships of T5 Retrofits. Really, who was the individual that decided to use T3-4 ships to make Fleet versions, by and large negating the option of C-Store purchase + 1 Fleet Ship Module when it comes to KDF ships? Slap them, please, next time they decide to suggest that makes one faction pay more for something than the other... or just give us all the discount for owning the highest available C-Store version of a given Fleet ship, though that would (rightfully) make Fed players feel just as cheated as KDF players are now.
Oh, virus, how about the Siphon Frigate we encounter among Nausicaan pirates? That would be cool, too, and it could even be the KDF version of a HEC; the default pet would of course be Siphon Drones.
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
besides most of the previous mentioned requests my big wish would be for the kdf costume slot bug to be fixed seriously on a couple of characters I am locked out of using 7 of my costume slots since LoR went live, 6 months is more than enough time to have that resolved.
Also, i would really like to see them go back and finish up more existing story lines like "Children of Kahn". I'm Hoping that Cryptic could do a better writing job for the Augments than the last Star Trek movie did.
A massive quality of life pass would be another huge must for me. There is too many broken things going on in game, and anytime they try to add something, more breaks. To make matters worse, they are adding things without going back to revamp older things at all, to bring them inline with the new changes. It seems very lazy, even from a professional standpoint, and frankly it's only hurting the game. It would really be nice to see Cryptic go through and make any fixes/upgrades/updates they could before giving us Season 9: The Quest For More Money.
Full body skins. This is part of the first and third bits, but it bugs the TRIBBLE out of me that a game would not put more effort into the actual player character models, as to leave most of them with such a glaring issue. It's beyond ridiculous, and it's right up there with making two of the famous species, look nothing like their onscreen versions. I'm talking about the Remans (who are terrible looking), and the Jem'Hadar (not as bad, but still need some love).
Dominion faction. I don't know why, but i would love to play as a Jem'Hadar in game. Especially if they added in some kind of mechanic for the dependency on Ketracel White.
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
We don't want what the Feds have. We want the equivalent. We want fairer treatment. Concern, desire, greed to some extent, and passionate belief that the enough people would buy KDF items to make it worth Cryptic's while.

I think that's great and all, but uh - there are a bunch of member species ships that are already in the game and would likely require less work in being touched up to be made player ships than doing new ships from scratch, no?
Gorn
Vishap Frigate
Tuatara Cruiser
Zilant Battleship
Balaur Dreadnought
Nausicaan
Destroyer Escort
Talon Battleship
Ravager Dreadnought
Orion
Orion Corvette
Brigand Cruiser
Slavemaster Battleship
Warbarge Dreadnought
Fek'Ihri
Fer'Jai Frigate
K'Norr Escort
Drek'Hi Dreadnought
There's an opportunity there, to share with the KDF, along the lines of the way things have been shared with the Feds. There's the opportunity to bring an actual Cruiser to the KDF.
Course, there's also been talk of Fleet versions of current ships as well...and while that's all nice and all as well, there's something that bugs me about some of the current Fleet versions of ships - that's the BOFF layout.
For example:
Scourge Destroyer Retrofit (200k FC)
X, X
X
X, X
Fleet Scourge Destroyer Retrofit (20k FC & 4 FSM)
X, X
X, X
Also love to see an Orion home planet or base where you can set up to go pirate and raiding.
Maybe some stuff like that.

This.... i want THIS!
This is the corrected link for the above post. The copy/paste used an ellipsis to truncate the address, so just added the "owthrea" that was missing.
[EDIT]...though I can't seem to get it to display the updated URL, at least I got the link to work correctly. Odd.
