I'm the OP here! To answer an earlier comment yes the Transphasic-Chroniton is available but ONLY if you like using worthless MK X weapons and don't mind dropping 80 mil + on a Voth ship. I only fly escorts with cannons so the Voth ships are useless for me.
Yes, yes you are. They are in the STORE I believe when you hit Tier 5...
Edit: nvm tier 4 actually
And to be specific they're called Protonic Polaron weapons. They do polaron damage with a proton proc.
I've been getting those out of the rep boxes has well and they are not Proton weapons.
They are called Protonic Polaron but they are pretty much just Polaron energy weapon type that has a chance to proc Proton damage and can be boosted by the Jem?Hadar Space set has well has consoles that boost polaron damage.
I've been collecting the Protonic Polaron dual heavy cannons and turrets weapons for my Scimitar and so far just out of the rep reward boxes I've almost got a full set.
When I speak of Dual Heavy Proton Cannons I want cannons that primarily deliver Proton damage with every shot fired and not something that has a 2.5% chance to do Proton damage.
So far there is only one true Proton based weapon in the game and it's the Experimental Proton weapon that we can only equipped one of.
I would never use my tactical consoles to boost the proc attached to my weapons over there primary damage type, it would just be wasteful IMO.
On a side note:
Is anyone else getting purple Mk XII items that can be bought from the rep store has rewards that can be found in the boxes that you get from filling the rep projects?
Well if they duplicated it in its entire form from Armada2, it would be a legal issue, being two ST games and all...
The Corbomite Reflector in TOS was a bluff, and as such never actually presented...
The working variant in Armada2 is likely a subject to that particular licence holder (Activision) as the game and design still belongs to them...
It may, or may not, become a tricky issue.
I don't think that's a tricky issue at all.
Taking something out of TOS and altering it from a bluff to a working system... I doubt one can license such a re-interpretation.
If it's another tribble, people are going to riot, and not in the fun way.
More than likely it's SPOILER ALERT
The Voth officer that you're in contact with during the rep based "Missions", i can't really see this ending well for that guy, so it makes sense. Just like the Breen Boff, he'll jump ship because of what happens.
END SPOILER
Aside from that, i'm not really sure what it could be, other than the tribble cop out, plus it goes with a lot of their pattern from other content adds.
A wearable suit of power armor would be interesting, based of the Voth suits.
Not as OP as one would think, they are slow and easily outflanked. Stats could be toggled for balance too. Basically have it act like a small vehicle. Maybe add repair costs too.
It's actually pretty decent for a medic. The majority prefers space combat though and from that point of view the Voth Boff isn't very special.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Comments
So far I have only seen the experimental proton weapon from the rep, are there more that I'm missing?

Haha, thought of that myself actually,...loved that game

I can't wait for the roadblocks in sector.

My character Tsin'xing
If there is even anything left from the crash wreckage.
I don't think that's a tricky issue at all.

So by the looks of it, i was right then?

I have it but don't use it. Because my existing BOFFs are much better.
Terribly underwhelming, that's what.
