Tier 5 Connie
More than one or two five man space missions for each rep grind.
Each rep five man needs to be elite capable with rewards to match the Omega elites.
Customization for the fleet K'tinga.
- Tailor overhaul to include off-duty outfits for Boffs and a fix for the T4 marauding Boff bug.
- return of the monthly "ask cryptic" panel.
- Frigate pet for the Atrox in combination with a flyable c-store/fleet version
- Adding Warp Cores to the existing Rep-systems.
- more new and unique doff assignments added to some of the "barren" sectors, like the Romulan ones, Defera, OL and especially Tau Dewa, to bring them in line with what we have in Cardassian space.
All I want is the thing that was mentioned by the OP. Customizable embassy/other boffs. My embassy boff always looks so unhappy with that ugly green outfit, plus his upturned mouth (yes, a lot of characters have slightly upturned mouths, but that's not the point) doesn't do him any favors on the happiness front.
Just a simple option to every mission, event and so on, regardless of faction.. There has to be option to disable, not to destroy a downed ship and alternative way to be defeated. Respawn is not very much something that feels right, more likely short emergency warp to near area like respawn where you "Do emergemcy repairs or lick your wounds for few seconds like respawn timer.
As a Klingon, i hate to be honorless dog that has no option to leave battle after enemy ship like USS DeWitt has been completely disabled and helpless. There is no honor in destroying ships like that.
1) To large to be practicle to rebuild or a full refit
2) It not being a modular design limits how many times you can upgrade the design
3) The time for a complete refit of all existing galaxys would be greater then the time to just refit smaller battle cruiser like excelsior.
In short flash if the galaxy was a modular design and smaller it would have had the same life expectancy as a excelsior but as it it is galaxy is to large and not designed in a way that would make refits and upgrades easy and cheaper.
In the end galaxy is obsolete in this time of STO its not because of anything more then the design itself .
anyways it would be nice to atleast give this ship some love and bring it inline with the TNG TV show galaxy the STO version is just a slow moving slow turning whale.
Not so, the Galaxy is just as Modular as any ship. And the Enterprise D took on several minor refits through out the 7 years it was in service. Even in the Dominion War the rest was also getting refits. Technically, the Galaxy will out perform the Excelsior in all areas. However this is not true for the game.
The interior space of the Galaxy-class was left somewhat customizable; areas such as Deck 8 were designated as unfinished and multipurpose, in the event that extra space was needed for a specific mission. (TNG: "Liaisons")
According to the Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical Manual, when the Enterprise-D was initially launched from Utopia Planitia, a full 35% of the customizable space was left empty, to be later filled with individual modules as seen fit.
In an effort to get more ships into service, many of the existing Galaxy-class spaceframes were outfitted with additional weapons and minimal crew accommodations to decrease their construction time, leaving the yards with nearly 65 percent of their internal volume empty. (DS9 reference: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Technical Manual)

Fleet Admiral Stowe - Dominion War Vet.
We don't want what the Feds have. We want the equivalent. We want fairer treatment. Concern, desire, greed to some extent, and passionate belief that the enough people would buy KDF items to make it worth Cryptic's while.
The decision was made long ago. There will be NO Cardassian faction. Why? Two words....
Galor Lockbox
That is speculation (on your part) only. Nobody has ever stated there wont be a Cardassian Faction because they've already released one of their ships.
That is speculation (on your part) only. Nobody has ever stated there wont be a Cardassian Faction because they've already released one of their ships.
Then how do you propose they make a Cardassian faction with the Mainstay of their once proud empire now in the hands of every Feddy, Klingon, and Romulan? Kinda hard to make a faction when one of your ships can be owned by every other player in the game...
Especially when it's a Staple...
It's like them releasing a Romulan Lockbox with a D'Deradix in it.... Then releasing a Romulan faction without it or a very torn down version(because free to play)

They've already gone and released the Galor, sure, but there is still a lot of money in a Cardassian Faction (characters, bridge officers, unique missions, story content and new ships). That is the reason that it is possible and likely.
Granted it was a mistake to release the Galor (a couple of Devs have already stated that as such) however the premature release of one ship isn't going to prevent them from potentially forming another mini faction.
As per how to implement it; they created a sub faction of Romulans to suit their design. They can create a sub faction of Cardassians also if they choose to do so.
1) Suliban and Acamarians and one other (Yridian Mercenaries?) join the Romulan Republic. 5 Playable RRF Species.
2) Species specific missions up to level 10 for all factions - ok, maybe that's more for 2015, but for the introduction of more RRF species, there will need to be at least a non-rom tutorial. It just won't make sense otherwise. Unless they are 'laison officers'....
3) Revamp of boffs and their traits so that quality (white - purple) works more like it does with gear. All boffs should have a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 2 space traits at Basic, Normal, Trained and Superior levels depending on quality. Revamp of Embassy boffs so that they conform to this new system. Any changes that invalidate previously bought boffs could be compensated through a special token used at the boff vendor where you get vets, androids and c-store species purchases. No Ultra-Rare boffs with 3 space traits. That would just be overkill. Possibly different traits depending on the class? Betazoid Sci would have more sciency traits while a Bolian Engi would have more engi based traits?
4) Customizable (appearance) Special Reward Boffs (Breen, Borg, Reman, etc) + make them RRF for Roms. Revamp their traits so that the Borg has Efficient and the Reman has Reman space traits. The Jem and Breen could have superior (space) warfare specialist, for example.
5) One, preferably two new Warbirds (over 12 months) with a Commander Science Bridge Station (Sci Ships). Fleet and lower level versions (T2 or T3) of at least one of them would be cool too.
6) Further develop Fed/KDF parity. The tutorial and new missions were a great start. More needed.
7) Cardassian Faction. Made having learned from RRF mistakes rather than 'learned' from KDF mistakes.
8) 6 30 minute average playtime STF type content - not just this 5 minute Infected Conduit (and others) nonsense we have now.
9) More sector blocks. There's a LOT of empty space on that galaxy map. My art teacher used to throw a fit if we left any part of the canvas untouched.
10) Give Foundry authors more tools. If that's where we have to go to get non-grindfest content, then give them more power to make more complex and intersting content. Be nice if they could add RRF to the foundry, but because of the way it was implemented, it's not possible....
11) Go through all missions and make them species responsive. No more will my Gorn have people shouting 'I knew Starfleet would come!' at him.
12) Revamp of Romulan Doff system so that it is not necessary to have Fed/KDF doffs in order to get certain bonuses. i.e. Finish the RRF Doff system.
13) Faction specific T4 Commendation rewards for all categories.
14) Update of accolades for Romulans - such as UFP Medal of Honor and Starfleet Cross. RRF doesn't give out medals it seems.....
"So my fun is wrong?"
No. Your fun makes everyone else's fun wrong by default.
1. For the D'Kora.. I have human boffs on my bridge,.. although I have only Ferengi boff crew and my character is Ferengi. Its annoying. At least I should see my crew here.
2. Also.. their uniforms are totally different from what I or my boff is wearing. I wish this was up to date on what choices you made.
"Mr. Stahl, tear down these walls." - Remove all the sector block walls so I can autopilot from Sol to New Romulus without loading screens.
This is actually a good idea...
+ There is no need that new players sees the whole universe. Further out should be greyed out and once they get higher ranks more of the universe gets available.
I also thinks the tutorial is lacking.. its not really being useful. Its minimal at best, leaving out important gaming control information. There is a lot to learn in this game..
Decent, non-spiked boots for KDF females in character creation. But I've been asking for that since the game launched, so I'm probably out of luck there.
Also, a fix for female lower legs when wearing tight pants would be nice. They just look weirdly thin.
ohh, I agree on this one!
And alien females on KDF has no skirt options.. while the orion have a few to choose from.. which to me is unfair.
Btw.. speaking of which. The fleet uniform has decent boots, which I think is no spikes. Everything on the fleet uniform looks good except the pants.
Better overview of the rep system items. At the moment its very difficult to find stuff in the listing. If they where divided under tabs or something... A better system is needed. Don't mix different levels of items.
Also.. this store unlocks is not the best idea. It cost the shirt to unlock them and then you have to pay another amount of fil to get a weapon or whatever item, .. to me this is silly.

Yes, but how easy is it to "tear down the walls"? Sounds to me like making a massive, hard-to-edit new map... It will kind of make it hard to add new sector blocks (like the one they intend to add in Season 9)...
But what I would like to see is a more three-dimensional sector space. And unique introductions for Vulcans, Andorians, Gorn, Orions, KDF-Aliens, and Rom-Aliens...
Fix the ****ing Foundry tab so that grinders and actual story missions are separate (I liked nagorak's proposal to add a required "select mission type" item to the editor). And give us a "next page" button. And the ability to import and export costumes again.

Whilst I agree that the loading between sectors sucks, I don't think tearing down all the walls is such a brilliant idea. Would require a lot of work too, and I don't see how you'd restrict new players from entering greyed out areas.
What I would instead do is combine some of the sectors. For starters:
* Sirrus and Regulus should be combined
* Zeta Andromedae, Beta Ursae, and Alpha Trainguli should be combined
Then they'd need to fill in the gaps. Such as the travel between ETA Erandi and Orellius.
On October 11th the almost-canon Date (A Newspaper snippet out of Picards Family Album in Generations picks this date but wasn't shown on screen).
On All Federation Planets with Ground Maps and especially Earth, Vulcan and Andoria there should be celebrations, People (especially Citizens) gathering to some attractions and at least one Official Ceremony in San Francisco with a fully orchestrated version of the Federation Anthem from 'Take me out to the Holodeck' (and don't you dare to put something else there!) and a little Fully Voiced Speech for this wonderful occasion!
Put some Minigames in there like the Winter Celebrations some new 'Only this Event!'-Stuff on the Store and whatever you want, people will buy the sh*t out of it, if you manage to do all this, I for one will be to happy to care about an empty wallet
Species specific interiors and bridges for the Gorn, Nausicaan and Orion ships for the KDF. I don't want to play an Orion character on an Orion ship with all-Orion BOffs... and a Klingon bridge and interior...
The Vulcan D'Kyr and Caitain Atrox, too, if they're using the default Starfleet interiors and bridges.
"If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to go back home and crawl under your bed. It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross; but it's not for the timid." -- Q, TNG: "Q-Who?"
^Words that every player should keep in mind, especially whenever there's a problem with the game...
To limit new characters, you can just run them in their own restricted instance if you had to...
Also, if a ship went outside of an area they are restricted to, the autopilot could kick in, turning them back to their restricted area if they stray out.
It isn't really as difficult as some would think to implement... aside from sector space not being designed for it from the start.
Just treat each sector block as a sim, with access controls on the sim borders. It has been done before in other environments.
I want to be able use the Omega rep costume unlocks on my boffs. For all the resources, time spent, and time spent waiting due to time gates, I should be able to have my own MACO Strike Force!!!

Costumes for KDF and Romulan
K'Vort for KDF, New Orleans and Niagara ships for Federation.
Cardassian Bridge Officer. Like the Breen and Jem'Hadar one so any faction can use it.
Voth Bridge Officer, since the new Season 8 is coming.
Show more worlds, like Trill, Betazed, Gorn, etc
Movie/TV show type hand weapons. We have some, but more of them.
