    at least the fleet Ar'kif will come with season 8. along with at least 3 other fleet ships

    Did you zoom it? Notice the 3 firing hardpoints - the space - then another before it cuts off?

    If it were only 4 Fore Weapons, would think that there would be no space between that 3rd and the 4th...so - rampant speculation 5/3 weapons? It's 3 - space - 2...? Wish he'd done a little wider image. ;)

    I want to say it will have 5 Fore weapons, but I'd be surprised if they gave that to a ship that doesn't come in a 3-pack.

    I'm assuming it doesn't come in a 3-pack, because there is a fleet version.


    I think it's a safe bet that it will be Tac heavy with enough Eng to use A2B.

    I'd laugh so hard if it was a 'battlecruiser' in name only.

    4 Engy consoles, 2 tac, 3 sci, Cmdr eng, Lt. Cmdr sci, lt tac, lt sci, ensign eng

    Or something like that.

    Though honestly, at this point I'm expecting a copy of the Tor'kaht. Only one way to find out.
    I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.

    oh ya, theorising this ships layout, i almost forgot lol

    i think it will technically be a cruiser, the same way the scimitar and breen ship technicly are, dispite the COM tac. this ship though, its gunna be the federation scimitar equivalent, same as the eventual negvar refit. so i woulnt be surprised if this ship doesn't have the vet ship station setup as well, and 5 fore weapons. lets say a 10 turn rate or so?


    of it could be a federation ktinga with a COM and LTC eng lol. with an AtB build, dont knock that station setup till you try it.

    I say the ship has 3 forward weapon slots, 3 aft and 2 on each side. So you could still do 8 beam broadside and 7 forward or rear.

    Plus I bet it can mount dual cannons forward and on the sides. You could have 6 beams and 2 cannons/torpedoes for broadsiding.

    I don?t think it will but it would be cool if it came with a warp core that raises the max weapon power.

    I think the consoles will be 3/3/3 and 3/3/4 (fleet version)

    I bet it will have some kind of team wide tac buff. But no idea what.

    Fleet Tor'Kaht is LCdr/Lt, Cmdr/En, Lt.

    Fleet Excelsior is LCdr, Cmdr/Lt/En, Lt.
    Fleet Assault is LCdr/En, Cmdr/Lt, Lt.

    Though I can see why certain folks would definitely prefer the Monbosh layout: LCdr, Cmdr, En, 2x Lt.

    There had been the talk about the Fleet Assault Negh'Var - which, would have the Regent/Imperial BOFF seating, etc, etc, etc.

    Have to wonder now, about that Fleet Assault Negh'Var...being more like the Fleet Avenger.

    Course, I'm surprised I haven't seen more discussion about a KDF Dreadnought Cruiser and a Fed Flight-Deck Cruiser...

    this is how they should handle the refit negvar, delayed for 20 months now. first, like they had to do with the star cruiser variant, rename the current neghvar in game to Voodieh class. whats in game is not quite the same ship from DS9, thats the actual neghvar. whats in game now is the version from the tng alternate future 'all good things', and refereed to as the Voodieh class. it has no large underslung guns and its wings curve downward. the DS9 negvar wings stuck strait out. this Voodieh class is most likely a decontented production version of the original negvar, and more general purpose and engineering heavy.

    this true neghvar is a reproduction of gowron's original flagship, big guns and all, and should basically be a stat clone of this avenger. instead of a special console torpedo thing though, it should have a disruptor version of the andoran escort's wing guns to fire from the underslung cannons it would have.

    Bortas/Bortasqu' are technically Battle Cruisers, so they've got 3/4 of the Cruiser Commands unlike the Gal-X Dreadnought Cruiser which has 2/4 of the commands. Heh, and yeah - I know asking for a KDF Gal-X is kind of...lol...yeah...lol...

    This^^^^. As well it should not lose any consoles for having basic cloak

    I wish the hardpoints were variable based on what weapons you have installed. I plan on all beams so the cannon ports out the front would be silly.

    Hopefully at some point the ships they release will have more customization like this.

    base shield mod is1 now, that looks to be the only change, stations and console are the same. glad they didnt put a hanger on it

    KDF BCs are sporting 25-35...50 took me by surprise. 50's the same as the Chel Grett Warship...

    I guess the Taunt mode and the Weapon mode has the same VATA since they didn't mention any thing for that mode either.

    Looks interesting. Though I'm not sure if I could fly the base one from the C-store.. i'd almost have to try to get a fleet version because I don't think I could fly a ship with only 1 Science Console slot lol

    Battle Cruisers only have 3/4 Cruiser Commands...they don't have Attract Fire.
