I'm expecting stuff that otherwise doesn't sell especially well, so ships probably T3 at most (if even that far) and the less-popular ones at that, or maybe shuttles. Stuff that people actually pay money for, like the Goomba or Karfi, are right out.
This is my guess too, it will be T3 refits, or fighters, stuff like that
Forget trying to claim the items across Multiple Faction Toons...
BranFlakes has indicated that at least some of the items will be Faction Specific each day.
The one exception to this might be which ever Ship is offered...
Though after reading His latest post in the 'Summer Give-a-way' Thread, it wouldn't surprise me if They limit that also some how.

After thinking about it a bit, my guess is that They will probably give away a ship/ships that ANY Faction could claim, like the Vulcan D'Kyr.
(also note that the D'Kyr has been updated, according to the latest TRIBBLE Patch Notes)
Makes the most sense since that way, nobody could claim more than one.

I suppose the Voyager Delta Flyer could be a candidate. Not sure how well that sells.

Well what ever they give out, being a player from beta, I most probably already own them.
This is for new players only I feel....
It's most likely to be items that aren't selling very well... the idea is to give away a ship no one would buy to induce them to buy ship slots. Or to give costumes that are flat sellers in the hopes that people will buy costume slots. Maybe a couple of playable races would cause a small increase in character slot sales.
I'm not trying to make it sound nefarious, it's not. But let's say 20 people have bought the D'kyr this year, to make up an example. That's $400 in sales for a company with millions in revenue. Giving it away may upset a few of the people who've bought it, but giving it away wouldn't hurt their bottom line at all, and giving it away to ten thousand people who would not have bought it may cause 5% of them to buy ships slots... and that's $2500.
Actually I am kind of wondering how much they are losing from people who are holding off on making any purchases. Probably make the most sense to just tell us.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
If they give away free stuff, don't expect it to be anything more than some non-combat pets to fill your bank slots so you have to buy more of them.

That said, I'll likely fly the stembolts off them all the same and see what crazy builds I can create on a budget

Possibly the RMC, but doubtful on the Tr-116, sadly (its one of those items they wish would just go away, it would seem). But you may be on to something; the Chronodynamic armor, the funky deflector dish, etc etc.
But I sense perhaps the TMP pack and some re-purposed tribbles from test rewards (perhaps even the Rivera tribble...)
