as for the drama... well i am not really into drama. i am into the house of beautiful. i am into the kdf. critical thinking obviously eludes anyone that thinks a fleet full of dead weight blind-invite qonos noobs is going to be the first to do anything, let alone nearly everything in the faction. we are many hundreds of full-time kdf players. we span two kdf fleets. lots, and i mean lots, of us do the heavy lifting and keep our projects in cd. when fleetmark bonus hours are on we arent playing stfs. instead, we get to work. we dont whinge and beg for projects to be made easier to suit a casual commitment. no, the house of beautiful just gets **** done.
we plan, we are organised, and we are diligent. and all the manufactured drama you can muster will not weaken our members' iron resolve to maintain our position as the #1 fleet in the kdf.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but yes Massive has had them exclusively for over a month and will be dropping prices to stay in line with the competition when they catch up. We also have had an account option too, and we don't restrict what you get while at our base, embassy, mine... i.e. no escorting around like I have heard the hobos do unless you want to know where the specific vendor is. We have also allowed revisits to all the early adopters for the jem'hadar pets and romulan drones (for those who bought account) for free. Sure it was expensive, but free revisits and a month's advance on everyone else was worth it to some.
You guys have a great fleet, but claiming it to be the best might be a bit of a stretch. There are a couple other fleets just as good in quality, and just behind in terms of base progress including cross faction fleets. I am not trying to take away from your achievement - it is impressive and I know how much work was involved.
I realize your members appreciate having a second kdf base too, but what most don't realize is all those resources being thrown into a redundant base could be sold to many other kdf bases for quite a lot lot of ec. And the fleet credits earned, in addition to the ec, at those bases move with players back to your fleet. Your second base is actually denying your own members the maximum amount of resources they could make for their grind while at the same time losing out on spreading goodwill amongst other kdf fleets.
also do u have some sort of a wide account deal ?? as i have bout 5 toons that need pets
see the 'our store' page on the website for this kind of information. it also features a countdown timer to let you know when the pets are available (currently 35 hours).

the hobr base is not redundant. hobo was full in the lead up to the release of the romulan faction. most of our members wanted to create romulans and get them into the fleet. we elected to create another kdf base and to include a system that would allow for members of this fleet to access the best fleet store in the kdf. im not sure what better return on your grind we could possibly offer.
we are the leading kdf fleet. we have always been, and will continue to be into the future. we are not only the leading kdf fleet, we are the only major kdf fleet that is not a subsidiary, lesser counterpart to a federation fleet. we are 100% kdf.
the goodwill we have earnt is by virtue of making the best kit in sto available to the entire faction. all the t2 and t3 fleets are able to maintain their memberships and continue their grind because the house of beautiful has given their members an alternative to abandoning a small fleet in search of ships and weapons.
while i do appreciate the opportunity you have given me to evangelise the house of beautiful, it would be appreciated if you would not use our thread as a sales vehicle for your own fleet.

i will point out, however, the difference between our base and any other is that ours is full t5. t5 eng, t5 tac, t5 sci. embassy is maxed, dil mine will be right quick. a base invite allows you to buy all of that- everything possibly available in a fleet store. not just pets.

Because they are one of the few (maybe the only one for that matter) fleets that have all the gear unlocked on KDF side. No one is forcing you to buy from them. As a 'consumer', you can shop around and find another KDF that is willing to give you access for less. Just because you think HOBO is too expensive isn't a fault of thiers.

Why do they need to 'announce' a change in price? If you see an item on the exchange at a certain price, can you guarantee one will always be available at that price? Do sellers suddenly announce that they are going to raise prices?
I am not a member of HOBO, but I don't see any reason to berate them for charging what they charge for access. If you think a retail store is too expensive, just go shop somewhere else. Same thing applies here. Doesn't mean that store should be ashamed of charging what they charge.

and i find you saying shop elsewhere to be foolish i contacted them 3 weeks ago about buying items and then 2 weeks ago and then 1 week ago and now they doubled there price i finaly get contacted back
i am also pointing out the fact that all there claims for being the first best and cheapest are all lies , and yes i am currently shopping around other fleets and to lower members of HOBO who would like to earn 10 million to invite me to their star base

There are many who specifically saved up for the advertized price of ten million, I know some. When you set it up so people save up for it, then at the last minute jack up you prices that's cruel and unethical especially after all the work and sacrifice people went to to meet the advertized.
My suggestion is starting a boycott of HOBO and its spinoff over it unethical move. Wait a month or two and other more Ethical Fleets will have them too. Let HOBO make nothing.
I hope the Developers see how toxic the Fleet System is becoming.
