*Obijen grabbed the Tal Shiar officer, and activated a sonic drone. He activated it and the officer writhed around in pain*
Obijen: I promise you'll be treated fairly. Just tell me where Sela is. Please.
Officer, spitting blood: all right, here are the coordinates.
*Obijen shot the officer through the head*
Obijen: Obijen to all Republic, I'm sorry, Imperial personell. The Tal Shiar are attempting to knock out the main power. I need assisstance. Obijen out.
*Obijen shot another two Tal Shiar*
Obijen: and quickly.
* Ten more Tal Shiar arrive, in armour and with rifles. Obijen is shot in the leg, but sends a grenade at the officers, killing them*
*Baroan stands up and moves over to her, then puts his hands on her shoulders and looks her in the eye*
Baroan: Tol'ina, I have total belief in you that there would be no chance in Areinnye that they would take you again, and if they did, I would personally track down every Tal'shiar wort in this universe and kill them slowly untill I found you. But that will never happen, because I would never allow them to take you, do you understand?
*She can see that he has tears in his eyes as well*
Baroan: But I can understand if you don't believe me, or feel that it would be best if we not talk about this...
*He smiles at her sadly*
Tol'ina: No. I want to believe you but... There is no way you could guarantee anything. I also don't want to fall into the trap of being "protected." No, I... I need some time to process this.
*She looks up, takes a deep breath, and wipes the tears from her eyes.*
Tol'ina: Get in. I'll take you back to Central Command.
*Baroan gets in and Tol'ina flies back to CC. She drops him off and then returns to her ship. When she arrives on the bridge, Morgan tells her of Obijen's distress call.*
Tol'ina: Activate attack mode and set a course, warp 9. I've had just about enough of the Tal'Shiar today!
*A few minuets latter, the Alidar's Revenge drops out of warp near Obijen's ship. The Tal'Shiar are hailed.*
Tol'ina: This is Commander Tol'ina of the R.R.W. Alidar's Revenge. You have attacked a vessel of the Romulan Republic. Disengage now or you will be destroyed!

OOC: I think Obijen was in CC, coblivionc
*Baroan walks away from CC, nodding to Oliah to take care of Obijen if she wants. He had already ordered some vacation time when he landed with Tol'ina. He walks all the way to the shuttle port, which takes him to his home on the outskirts of the main city. It was simple house, a small wall around it and two stories. He walked in and simply sat on the steps.*
Baroan: Well, that did not go as I planned... Did I even plan it? No, I didn't.... Elements, I am such an idiot...
*He leans back, puts his hands behind his hand and closes his eyes.*
*Meanwhile, Oliah was walking to the Interrogation room in the CC. Geyan was already there with the General they had snatched.*
Geyan: Well, General. Perhaps you would like to just tell us where the Empress is with out the torture, or would you rather keep up a pretense of being loyal to your cause?
General, a little groggy: What?
Oliah: He means do you want to tell us what we want to know, or do we have to beat you?
General: Oh.
*He gains a defiant look*
General: I will never betray my Empress!
*Geyan shrugs*
Geyan: Whatever you say, wort.
*He looks at Oliah*
Geyan: You may want to leave.
*Oliah nods and does so, accompanied by the Generals horrible screams*

Oliah: Did we at least get what we wanted?
Geyan, smiling: Ohh, we got more than that. We got the planet name, the blueprints of the palace, the number of her Guard, how she fights, and the defenses around the planet.
*Oliah raises an eyebrow*
Oliah: Really, that much?
*Geyan smiles*
Geyan: And it's all verified by Imperial Intelligence.
Oliah: Glad to see that still work even during such a horrible period. In fact, they focused so much on the outside intelligence that they couldn't detect an elements damn fleet coming to mol'Rihan...
Geyan: You and I both know that the Aefvriha will sort them out. And if that happens again, we can blame it on I.I.I.
Oliah: Uh huh. Well, let's get an agent and a fleet to take of this.
Geyan: We need only an agent...
Oliah: Really? Well, which one?
Geyan: I don't know. We need to inform the Aefvriha.
Oliah: We'll tell him tomorrow. He took today off.
Geyan: Alright. I'll dipose of the filth.
Oliah: You do that.
Geyan: Hey, Oliah?
Oliah: Yeah, Geyan?
Geyan :Want to meet for some blood wine after this?

*Tol'ina enters her quarters and hangs up her rifle on the wall. She sits down on her desk chair and removes her right boot reveling a bloody bandage wrapped around her foot. She carefully unwraps it to revile a three inch long gash on the bottom of her foot.*
Tol'ina: Good. Doesn't look like its been infected.
*She opens a drawer on her desk and pulls out an autosuture. She uses it to completely seal the gash and then returns the suture to the drawer. She places the bloody rag on a replicator and sets it to "clean." Tol'ina sits back and watches as her red blood is removed from the white strip of cloth.*

OOC: Well then...
*Baroan wakes to messages beeping at his home console.*
Baroan: Elements damn. *He wipes his face with a hand* Welp, I knew I would have to awake from self pity at some point...
*He walks over and opens it. There are two. One is a report, the other a list of Intelligence personell. The report is from Oliah, telling him about what they found out from the General. And telling him that they need an agent for the assassination.*
Baroan, muttering: Guess thats what the list is for...
*He quickly sorts it all, from their abilities. He knows all of them, having had a few days before the attack and the Ceph attack to learn them. He decides to sort them into Internal and External. Then chooses one for Internal Commander. He then sends that to D'Tan. Then he finds the best assassin from the External list and messages him.*
Baroan: Jolan'tru Iarr'voi Aenikh. I have a mission for you.
Havraha,a little suprised: Aefvriha. It is a suprise to see you. What is the mission?
Baroan, smiling a little: To assassinate the Tal'Shiar Empress...
*Havraha raises an eyebrow*
Havraha: Really? I would be honoured.
Baorna: Good. Get to C.C. immediately and get briefed. I'll be there at some point...
*Baroan closes the connection. Havraha blinks.*
Havraha, muttering: Well then. Better hurry...
*He gets dressed in his agent uniform and makes his way to C.C.*
OOC: P.S. Iarr'voi is a title. Meaning Agent, if you didn't know.

*Baroan, who had been dosing in his desk chair after reading some reports, wakes with a start at the noise. His hand goes instinctively to the gun he keeps under his desk. He realizes what happened quickly, and activates his console, looking at his securiy cameras.*
Baroan, muttering: Oh. It's Tol'ina...
*He stands, going to the door. Then he stops, realizing he was still in his night clothes.*
Baroan: Elements! I am such an idiot!
*He hurridly runs to his wardrobe, pulls on some pants and a shirt that look okay, then runs back to the door. He takes a breath and opens it.*

*She looks over her shoulder nervously.*
Tol'ina: Can I come in?
Only one thing is certain -- that is, nothing is certain. If this statement is true, it is also false. -Ancient Paradox
OOC: Well, I can think of two scenerios. One, she's a spy. Two, she's a half human, with a little more preference to the human.
*Baroan blinks.*
Baoran: Uhh, sure. I guess.
*He steps aside, leaving the door open.*
OOC: What is it with you and thinking everyone is a spy?
Tol'ina: Thank you.
*Tol'ina walks in. When Baroan closes the door she looks around to make sure no one is watching through the windows. She then pulls out a needle and pricks her finger. She shows her finger to Baroan.*
Tol'ina: The doctors said it means I'm half human. I don't know what to make of it. Have you ever herd of someone who was completely Romulan except for their blood?
*She seemed to be talking more to herself than to Baroan now.*
Tol'ina: I mean, that's why I never told anyone before! Can you imagine what it would be like is people found out? I would be the freak or the one the scientists wanted to study.
*She suddenly realizes she is suppose to be talking to Baroan and blushes.*
Tol'ina: I,uh... Just thought you should know.

Imperial Command
*Obisek walks in, flanked by two Reman shadow guards and Obijen. D'tan, another Reman and a group of Romulans are inside*
Obisek: this is outrageus. The Republic has just become the very thing you and I swore to destroy. Going around planning assassinations, killing needlessly and already placing more and more security around.
D'tan: please, try to underst-
Obisek: NO, THE REMANS WILL NOT UNDERSTAND! From this day forward, all Reman activity will cease inside this Empire.
*D'tan walks out with all the Remans in the room*
Councillor Dremek: well done, now we desperately need more resources. And he's right, you know, we just became the very thing we swore to destroy. Scum.
*He walks out with 3 councillors*

OOC: Hmm. I wasn't thinking exactly the same as the old empire. In fact, this is the Rihannsu Empire, not the Romulan Star Empire, or the Dominion. But it does make sense. And the Romulan citizens are forever proud of their empire, sooo... Those guys are going to be assassinated, if not lynch mobbed. The Remans will be fine. Resources, well, trade with the Feds and Klingons is still happening. Plus, they can always induct many other old colonies back into the Empire. The Tal'Shiar still own a sizable portion, but loosing more everyday... It's like the Roman Empire just after Julius right now.

OOC: have fun assassinating them!
Who's gonna do it? Obijen can't, he's with the Remans, and baroan, well, he doesn't seem like much of an assassin
Tran: COmputer, play intelligence report 381-DZI.
Computer: Playing: A drastic change has happened inside the Romulan Republic government. They have now became the Rihannsu Empire, dedicated to destroying the Tal Shiar. Agent 59 has managed to uncover evidence about a small group inside the EMpire, calling themselves the Republic. They are dedicated to destroying the Tal Shiar, however they also want to topple D'tans government. They are attempting to make contact with the Remans, who left the EMpire on bad terms, the Federation, Klingons, and the Breen government. They have made massive successes, the federation are already keeping a much closer eye on the ROmulans, the Remans are angry at D'tan, the Klingon EMpire has already cut 74% of funding, and the Breen Government has cut all ties. The Tholians, as well, are keeping a close eye on the Romulans. It remains to be seen if Obiseks claims, however, are true. Despite our successes in placing moles inside the Klingon and Federation governments, we are finding it extremely difficult to place a mole inside the Romulan command. The Imperial command are also placing higher security measures and are enforcing curfews, checkpoints and listening devices. So far, thre have been no great rebellions, and it remains to be seen how popular this government will be. Report end, now.
Chancellor Destra: Tran, as you are the supreme commander, what course of action do you advise?
Tran: We should cut trade with them. They are relying on us for some resources, and we should recall all technology we have donated to them. You should be able to do that by activating Command-15TT, which will render all our devices on New Romulus useless. We should stop patrolling Romulan territorys and recall all ambassadors.
COuncillor Drev: I must ask, but why are we doing this?
Tran: Because of this: Computer, play file 45
File 45:
D'tan: COmmander Hevrar, I see you have planned to sabotage the Breen dilithium mine at Pentax IV. I have accepted your offer. Good luck.
Tran: this was an intercepted message. Two days ago, a group of so called terrorists attempted to destroy the mining station at Pentax IV. All of them where captured and interrogated. AFter some of our best interrogaters "interviewed" them, the commander, Hevrar, eventually confirmed this. They where executed soon after.
COuncillor DTras: Surely this is an act of war?
Tran: yes, it is, however, instead of waging a war against them, we revealed this information to the other powers. Instead of waging a war, we will bankrut the Romulans until they beg the Federation, Klingons, or us for supplies.
Destra: Very well. I accept this. Computer, activate COmmand-15TT, location: New Romulus and these co-ordnates *He types in co-ordinattes. Instantly, all Breen devices in Imperial space deactivates. ALl freighters turn back, and all patrols turn back. All the ambassadors return, as well as Breen workers.*
OOC: BTW, DO NOT kill Tran., or topple the Breen Confederacy. I'm fine with Imperial agents (so long as they're expendable ) and some moles, (again, so long as they're expendable) but no coups (yet, I might make one, but probably not the Romulans fault). Anyway, it appears the galaxy just got a whole lot more unstable. STill, hopefully it doesn't go into all out war, more like political intrigue. assassinations and other cold war stuff
*Baroan moves over to take a closer look.*
Baroan: Wow. It is interesting. But I am sure it is just a genetics thing. You'll be fin...
*He realizes that he's acting more like a doctor than a friend*
Baroan: Anyway, why did you think it important for me to know?
Tol'ina: Well I just thought it was important if we are going to continue to try to pursue a relationship. Baroan, I am going to need time to settle my fears. Lets just see were the road takes us... Oh! There was one other thing. What's this I here about turning our republic into an empire?

*Baroan blinks*
Baroan: Well, despite what some may say, D'Tan didn't do it in the spur of the moment. He had recieved reports that many of the current planets in the Republic were feeling... dissatisfied woth the Republic. They felt it was weak. They wanted an Empire. I persuaded D'Tan to do that, and he was waiting for just the right moment. The meeting before the battle was that moment. Though I have no idea why the Remans hate us already. They haven't even let us get to the government reforms! We've already sent diplomats to the Feds and KDF to explain whats happened. And the happiness of the planets from before have increased/ Along with the base civilians.
*He chuckles*
Baroan: Sorry if I sound like a report. I just read this of my console. The Reforms are due to come out today, by the way.
At the New Senate building
*D'Tan is at a press conference*
D'Tan: My people, as many of you probably already know, we have become the Rihannsu Empire. Despite what our allies may think, especially the Breen and Klingons, we are not the old Star Empire, or the Tal'Shiar under a new name. We are now a constitutional monarchy, meaning that we may have an Imperator, but the main power stays with the Praetor and the Senate. The Praetor is elected, and may run a term of four years. He may only be elected once. The Senate will stay as is, with some small reforms. A full list of all minor reforms will be disclosed after questions.
*He then starts acceoting question. The main one is who will be the Imperator.*
D'Tan: We will hold elections for the man who you think should be the symbol for our nation. The elections will be Empire wide.
*They continue with small questions.*
OOC: The basic layout is English Prime minister and all that. The Senate is run like Congress, and there is a Council of Plebes, that the house of Representitives. For the other reforms, just assume that their healthcare and other meaningless stuff, but geared toward the benefit of the people.
*Baroan blinks*

Tol'ina: I can't believe I'm hearing this! I've sworn loyalty to the TSA and the Romulan Republic. I swore an oath to protect freedom when I joined the Republic. I can't believe you suggested this to D'Tan! An empire is exactly what I singed up to destroy! No! I can't do this!

Ellen: Sir, I mean exactly what I said. The Romulan Republic has converted itself into an empire. The Remans have cut all ties and the Federation, Klingon Empire, and Breen Confederacy have pulled aid.

*He stands and moves to the console*
Baroan: Cut all ties... Well, looks like we'll be in an economic downturn for a while... hmm, ah good news. All colony planets have been assimilated back into the Empire. Civilians like it. We've had some defections, but none to the Tal'Shiar.
*He sits back and looks up at his roof, imagining Tol'ina steaming in her ready room.*

Sela: You're telling me, that D'Tan of all people, has founded a damn EMPIRE!

Sela: Elemants damn him!

Sela: Baroan. I know he has something to do with this!

Sela: Yes, yes. We should do that... my love, you have the most wonderful ideas...

Baroan Clone: I live to serve my Empress...
*He bows.*
*Baroan bows his head.*
Baroan, muttering: We knew this would happen... hopefully they will see reason at some point.

*Tol'ina was not in her readyroom. She was on one of her ships four holodecks. She had walked in during one of the Ulan weapon training exercises, grabbed a rifle from the instructor, and proceeded to blast every target downrange. Oliah: It is an exact replica of the old palace of Romulus. We have every detail of that palace down. Agent, your mission is to infiltrate her personal guard, and assassinate her. In her sleep, if need be. We also want you back alive, if possible. Do you accept?

At the New Palace
*D'Tan is standing on a pedestal, looking at a gigantic crowd. He waves at them to settle them down*
D'Tan: I am glad to announce, with no preamble, our new Emperor. He is the man who originally came up with the idea of the Khitomer Accords, who worked with the Klingons to get them to appear, and solved many problems afterward. Our new Emperor, the new Symbol of our glorious nation, the new representative of our race to allies and enemies. I present Emperor Sli'vanus I!
*As Sli'vanus steps out in traditional Romulan Emperor robes, he waves at his new subjects. They yell and scream excitedly. Then they quiet down amd some start to chant, then more, then all.*
Crowd: Alhu na Rihannsu Nneikha u' Rhiyrh Sli'vanus! Alhu na Rihannsu Nneikha u' Rhiyrh Sli'vanus!
OOC: Sorry for dropping off the map like that. With school getting out, some work I had to do around the house, and the Risa event I didn't have much time.
*In the Azure nebula, Kran suddenly gives the order to come to a stop. A Scimitar Dreadnought decloaks in front of the Umbra. The Romulan Empire's security scanners in the nebula begin sending signals back to New Romulas that a huge Thalaron signature has been detected on an unregistered ship in the nebula.*

*A centurion, who was previously an admiral, was on the scanners. When he saw the signatures he dropped his cup and the ale spilled everywhere. He stands, rubs his pants, and runs to his commanding officer. The officer runs to his, then his, the hers, eventually getting to the main admiral. That one beams up to her ship, and gathers as many others as she can. They assemble a fleet, and they warp out. They get there.*
Admiral Eth'rina: Admiral Kran, good to meet you. I am Admiral Eth'rina of the I.R.W. Huthraha. Will you help us take out this behemoth?

Tol'ina: This is Tol'ina of the R.R.W. Alidar's Revenge. I wish to speak with D'Tan.
OOC: Note that the Alidar's Revenge's shields are down and its weapons are powered down.

Eth'rina: Tol'ina? What are yo... It doesn't matter. Why do you want to see the Praetor?
*Eth'rina sits back, obviously relaxed now. But the fleet doesn't take there shields and weapons off line.*
OOC: Story of how Tol'ina ran off has gotten around, so they still have to keep in mind that she may be a rebel.
Comments
Obijen: I promise you'll be treated fairly. Just tell me where Sela is. Please.
Officer, spitting blood: all right, here are the coordinates.
*Obijen shot the officer through the head*
Obijen: Obijen to all Republic, I'm sorry, Imperial personell. The Tal Shiar are attempting to knock out the main power. I need assisstance. Obijen out.
*Obijen shot another two Tal Shiar*
Obijen: and quickly.
* Ten more Tal Shiar arrive, in armour and with rifles. Obijen is shot in the leg, but sends a grenade at the officers, killing them*
OOC: well, anyone up for helping Obi?
OOC: *Facepalm* Ok, sorry. Lets just say disregard the end of my last post starting with the part about Morgan. Jmaster, could you please tell us where exactly Obijen is. Neither of your posts about him tell us were he is.
*Oliah smiles*
Oliah: Sure. See ya at seven?
Geyan: Sure.
*Oliah leaves*
OOC: around the staging area.
OOC: Ok, thanks!
OOC: You like that little twist did you?
*Tol'ina sits at her desk considering what had happened in the past day. Finally, after a few hours, she gets up and heads to the transporter room. She beams down outside Baroan's house, walks up, and knocks on the door.*
Baoran: Hello, Tol'ina. How are you?
OOC: Hmm... I thought it was kind of obvious... Oh well.
Tol'ina: I'm... ok. There is something I need to tell you...
*She looks over her shoulder nervously.*
Tol'ina: Can I come in?
Baroan: Wow. It is interesting. But I am sure it is just a genetics thing. You'll be fin...
*He realizes that he's acting more like a doctor than a friend*
Baroan: Anyway, why did you think it important for me to know?
Tol'ina: Well I just thought it was important if we are going to continue to try to pursue a relationship. Baroan, I am going to need time to settle my fears. Lets just see were the road takes us... Oh! There was one other thing. What's this I here about turning our republic into an empire?
*Tol'ina beams out of Baroan's house to her ship. A few seconds latter the Alidar's Revenge warps out.*
*Jupiter orbit, Admiral Kran Su, U.S.S. Umbra, Captains readyroom.*
Kran: What do you mean an empire?
Ellen: Sir, I mean exactly what I said. The Romulan Republic has converted itself into an empire. The Remans have cut all ties and the Federation, Klingon Empire, and Breen Confederacy have pulled aid.
*Kran puts his head in his hands.*
Kran: D'Tan, what have you done?
Baroan, muttering: We knew this would happen... hopefully they will see reason at some point.
Baroan: I hope she'll be okay...
*He looks back at the report.*
Baroan: Small terrorist group... caling themselves the Republic. Hah, offer them a planet to found the Republic on, and we'll see how well they do in a month.
*And that's what he sent as a suggestion to Internal. He stands*
Baroan: Well. Better go brief Havraha about the Empress...
*He moves off to External C.C.*

Admiral Eth'rina: Admiral Kran, good to meet you. I am Admiral Eth'rina of the I.R.W. Huthraha. Will you help us take out this behemoth?
Kran: Take it out? I don't believe that will be necessary.
*The Dreadnought activates it's transponder which reads: Romulan Republic Warbird, Alidar's Revenge. It then begins broadcasting a hail to the entire fleet. Tol'ina appears on the screen.*
Tol'ina: This is Tol'ina of the R.R.W. Alidar's Revenge. I wish to speak with D'Tan.
OOC: Note that the Alidar's Revenge's shields are down and its weapons are powered down.
*Eth'rina blinks.*
