Red Light on the Server for me as well. Was just about to destroy the queen in Hive PvE so this sucks, no points for that mission. I was actually considering getting subscription but with the amount of times it's booted me, I'm thinking I'll just use the free-to-play aspect. Not worth sending money if they can't maintain the connectivity that we'd pay a 'hefty price' for.
and when server will crash again on thursday we will see that they had to make maintance again to check what's wrong to not make it on thursday next week
so now I must insist on a new ability: Tribble rain!!! we can rain tribbles and there carcases down on unsuspecting populace. Drowning them in burning furry mess!!! yes yes MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder why these companies never think of mirroring their server arrays?? yeah, i know its expensive, even for a large company ( well the larger the more expensive ), but it would allow for zero down time and save them a major amount of loss in profits as this type of continual failure will definitely drive people away..
Meantime let's try and solve some in-game issues.. Fleet spamming and selling and helping make things easier for smaller fleets. See my thread No way in hell for more topic discussion.

You do realize that you will now be banned as pve leaver. Provided of course that the game is up before your ban time is....
I really do hope you are kidding because ANYTHING EA touches crashes and burns faster then a meteor entering a planets atmosphere!
SW:TOR may not be the greatest F2P game out there but atleast there servers haven't crash 3 times in the last week and they already have there expansion out. EA maybe money greedy at times but they have there act together when most companies would rather just stick there finger up there bum and spin
As someone that started playing this game at the F2P launch and has in that time spent more that the lifetime subscription price, I'm getting really sick of this Lifer/Gold Entitlement bs.
Just because I'm on a fixed income (medical disability) and chose to purchase what I wanted/needed in smaller increments than all at once with the lifer sub doesn't mean I am any less important of a player/customer.
Hardware fails, that's inevitable. Even having a secondary issue can be expected because everything may seem fine, but the original failure can cause problems that aren't immediately evident.
However this is the 4th time there has been a major outage. No matter if you're a lifer, gold sub, silver that has spent money, or a silver that hasn't ever spent anything there is a matter of good will towards that player base that needs to be addressed. Major outages like this can greatly affect someone's willingness to purchase items especially if they don't have an unlimited income to spend, and can also greatly affect potential new players and new customers.
Not saying it should be something huge, but perhaps something like a double dilithium weekend event is in order. This is one of those situations where Cryptic's response to this continuing problem is really going to start determining their reputation amongst players old and new, and also peoples willingness to spend money. Anything they do as far as compensation will greatly outweigh anything a small token will cost them.
Thanks Brandon for the update on the situation. I for one appreciate all the hard work that everyone there are putting in and am very much looking forward to Legacy of Romulus. I am sure that everything will be working when Legacy of Romulus goes live in 2 weeks. Keep up with the updates and hard work.

But...but what if it's a BORG HAMSTER?! What do we do then?!

My wish earlier in the thread came true!
Server goes up ... server comes down seconds later.
What is this, a darn yo-yo or a videogame?
(With apologies to paraphrasing McCoy)
They should just add an event for server crashes, it would save so much time and prevent the build up of aggro that this causes.
NOOOOO don't go in to the light
Put it in a wheel with a non-borg hamster in front of it. (if it shows any signs of adapting, remodulate your hamster)
I'm not THAT difficult to please, I just have a very low tolerance threshold for stupid BS! - George Carlin.
I'd timed it specifically.....
That's because it's easier for them to do all the games all at once instead of taking them down one at a time.

The thing is today is my day off, not Thursday!
Hah! I'd wish, then atleast the servers and connection to them would be perfect!

Any idea how long this will be?

Some people i guess are still having power outage issues from sunday night.
But i could be wrong. But most likely it is the server them selfs.I think the main issue is Neverwinter and Star Trek are on the same servers.
That ^^ ^^
We are the Neverwinter, resistance is futile.
From this moment forward, all your servers will service us.
