"The servers are currently unavailable" how much longer will this take?
Till it's done..

they will be done when Captain Picard will retire and Data takes command of the Enterprise E just to have to blasted to pieces by the superior Klingon bird of prey

... about four centuries from now, if STO's time-line is any indication.

I'm very interested to know what "updated every texture in game" means! I mean... I can't remember the last time I've seen that in any game's patch notes. Anyways, this is HUGE!
I vaguely remember Taco said a while back that this kind of change would have to be done to definitively fix the various black polygon issues that are on some maps, so there may not be any increased definition; it may simply be a technical fix.
As for the patch notes -- I'm probably not the only cruiser-preferring player who's disappointed to see that there has been no iteration on the Emergency Power ability fiasco that's currently promising to bring a nerf to the class of ships that needs such treatment the least. We continue to hope that a Systems dev will drop by one of the threads on the subject and respond to the concerns that we have on the matter.
Tribble is still under maintenance, but we don't have an ETA for when it can be unlocked. Once it is, we'll make a post in here. We're trying to get it back up tonight, but it may not be until tomorrow.
i dont know...let me consult the wisest tribble who was in the random (level specific)box that was in the box in one of the tunnels....while making sure i remembered where I parked.
I find this line of replies sadly hilarious. We put a lot of work into the massive list of fixes/changes above, and ya'll are hung up on the ability to skip our content. =p
Actually, after going back and re-reading... the only thing in the patch notes about this, is a fix to RE-OPEN the box after cut-scenes...
So apparently, They Have Not fixed the damn thing.

Then I won't have to sit around here any longer tonight. Already 4:30 AM here, and the patcher is stuck around ~60%. Probably won't even be completed by the time I wake up.

Let's hope Holodeck is up faster after the LoR patch, or you'll have a few million angry (and VERY well-armed) captains chewing at the bit for a piece of your hull.

Honestly, anyone that is actually planning on playing the game on the 21st of May is not very bright.
The anniversary event is going to look like a book club meeting compared to the attention this gets. And that overloaded everything for hours.

I've never seen one for the test server though.
Federation: Today, no one needs to die.
Romulans: Today is a good day for somebody else to die.
they do for the main live server.
i have never seen any MMO have a status page for there test server
Thing I love about the written word the most - subtle humor so does not translate
