Please refrain from talking to me as if I'm a 3 year old, I'm talking respectfully to you and I expect the same from you.

During the Enterprise Incident, the Romulans clearly used Klingon ships, which was even stated in the episode was odd. We as fans know this was do to budged reasons for the 1968 airing. This, as well as the inconsistency of a Klingon Bird of Prey then showing up in The Search for Spock, where prior we only knew of a Romulan Bird of Prey (an experimental ship to that). These are facts, thus I understand and mostly agree with your point of view, but Enterprise changes all that by making Birds of Prey a heck of a lot more common.

    EDIT: NERD RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi, my name is: Elim Garak, Former Cardassian Oppressor

LTS, here since...when did this game launch again? :D

The reason the BoP is reference in Enterprise is because it's already been added to canon due to the mistake in The Search for Spock - due to two decades of novels, comics, movies, and other series between the The Search for Spock and Enterprise. So you have a circle of canon: they changed canon due to a mistake in a movie and so now all reference to canon, past, present, and future include that mistake. So now the KDF have always had BoPs in canon. In reality they came nearly 16+ years after Roms had them in TOS.

I was specifically discussing reality in my first post. The reason why we have BoP. Not the altered canon which has followed.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

Yeah, the Alliance was one of those hinted at but never confirmed on screen. There is an awesome IDW Romulan spotlight series about the Alliance.

ENT didn't do that, it was good ole TNG that spread the Klingon BOP. The BOPs from the movies could have been captured Romulan ships.

    ENT just went with it.

The Reman Borg BO will be on the C-Store separately.

And you can get it in the $20 preorder pack as well, which includes the Romulan equivalent to escorts at two tiers, a title, and the Borg BO.

Once again, you manage to ignore what I am saying entirely and twisting in a random reply.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

Considering that they recently ran a Neverwinter founder pack with three options, I'm betting that their returns on the midway pack were not that great. I'm betting the majority probably went for either the $20 one or the $125 one, meaning the time and money spent to compile a middle option went to waste. It forces people to choose and while it might not make everyone happy, it's a sound business move. The people who don't shell out in favor of the savings will pay more long term, the ones who do have more to play with and save more long term on the the single fleet module it will take to upgrade all those retrofits. Either way it encourages business and more business means more content.

These are the founders pack from Neverwinter (in case anyone was wondering...)
    http://nw.perfectworld.com/founderspack

Based on those packs in comparison, the legacy pack here is quite undervalued. The founder pack I bought for NW gives me apparently 700 USD in value for 200 USD purchase price, whereas the legacy pack here for 125 USD will only give me 181 USD value, meaning for the NW Founder pack I get 250% additional value out of it, whereas the legacy pack will only give me additional ~37.5% additional value compared to the purchased price.

Were the legacy pack to contain items valued together for 437.5 USD, the legacy pack would be much fairer priced imo. Chances are I'll still go get the legacy pack, just seems weird pricing when compared to another Cryptic pack and the pricing model there...

On the subject of LTS and legacy pack, I don't see why any Lifer should get additional items free apart from the regular LTS rewards which are in line with what the LTS stated upon purchase (got an LTS myself, since first week of going live).

The Klingon Bird-of-prey in "Search for Spock" wasn't a mistake, it was a choice.

As for the Legacy Pack... basically giving the Romulans 1 ship per tier and especially at tier 5 (when they suddenly can't even use ally ships, you know, where the majority of a character's time is spent), and putting this pack out before launch even, for people to buy sight unseen, is low and particularly scummy.

Yeah, I really hate it when people hold a gun to our heads and make us buy things. I really miss having free will and the ability to decide for myself what I want to spend my money on. Oh, wait! :)

I see it both ways. Good deal to get all kinds of goodies. Where yo buy now, instead of buying later. However the other part is to convince the wife why to pay 100+ for a game. To me I will buy a few at a time. So it won't look as bad. Plus then I can pick/choose my purchases.

Just an opinion, but people who purchase one of the packs should get access to the closed beta on Tribble.

I know right? I just took the plunge too, but no invite.

It would be nice to see this added as a perk to those that have purchased the pack.

I went with the Standard Pack for $20.00. It gets me a T1, a T5, and a Lib Borg Boff. I can then buy the other items from the C-Store as I want them.

I have thought of that as well. Since the smaller ship is on my get list later on. I wanted the larger ships first.

Same here. There is more desirable stuff to me in the Starter Pack (Everything) than there is in the Legacy Pack (only a few things, and a whole host of ships whose stats are still in flux).

But you see I have been a lifer since the first day they were offered. I've been a whale of a supporter of this game in the 3 years since buying the LTS. I've purchased almost everything from the C-Store. And I've purchased the Legacy Pack for my favorite fRaction.

It's not a scam as you will receive digital content with which to enhance your digital gaming experience in STO. Cryptic and PWE/PWI are in business to MAKE money, some how, some way. The C-Store and these packs are a way of making money. :)

ty for saying that im so sick of people on here acting like it a crime for a company to sell something to make money FFS if you don't like it don't buy it it does not mean you cant play the game ....a game that you get for free by the way and most pay nothing for but yet go insane when they see something they have to buy (no really have to they just want it ) but cant afford it or are too cheap to by it then they attack the company like they are so evil for putting it out there for money ...

If the 125 legacy pack was 50$ to 60$ bucks even it would sell a lot more. $125 is just to much for it (yes i understand its an optional thing to have and you dont have to buy it) I just think at $125 its just to much 50-60$ and i think they would sell 10 times more then the $125 pack. I know id buy it at 50-60$ myself anyways. For now ill get the 20 bucks pack

What they don't sell in packs at a 30% discount they'll sell in the C-Store for full price. They're not losing any money either way.
