Last time stoked did a review BG MACO was in the top 15, should be lower now but i could really care about this top whatever bs. We dont actively recruit and fully active. We got people that pvp, and people that dont. All our stores are fully open, same with being able to buy ships to members, but you have to prove yourself the only rank that cant purcahse, is tier 1 rank so were sure someoen didnt join just for the free stuff then bail. We are a family, we are happy, and when we play with someone good without a fleet we see if they want to join. Get tired of spammers in zone, and people that pm you if your in a fleet trying to steal people, not how my fleet or i play.
We dont do meetings, we dont do uniforms, what we do do is a fun relaxed group that believes the game is supposed to be fun, and not another job. Well be 4 years old in june, but that just celebrates when we changed our name to BG MACO from Hyperion fleet. Our core group has been together since closed beta.
we are in the top 10 fed fleets, top 5 kdf, and maybe top 3 joined fed/kdf.
our fed and kdf fleets are both maxed out on sb , emb, mine (only cd's left for t3 spire)
the fed starbase got everything on tier 5 last summer, kdf last month.
next month we are 2 years old and active daily !
well over 800 unique members, from around the world in all time zones.
i myself am dutch, so this is also the biggest and oldest fleet based in europe. (without backing of huge forums to get members, like those other top fleets), we find all our people in game.

Let me start off with a personal note. I don't really know how this best-of list is calculated. I think there are many aspects making out a good fleet, which make it hard to bring it down to a simple list imho.
Speaking for ourselves, we only really got one rule: Show respect and be respected. Other than that, we try to always help our members if needed, do missions together if wanted, and make stuff happen if requested. Our actual daily activity averages around 10-15 people online (prime time) but not always the same members. I would say we have pretty healthy activity.
We prefer quality over quantity, so we have room for many alts which get same rank as main and don't have to contribute. We started of with 100k contributions for store access, but we raised that to 300k after hitting Tier 4, cause we think its fair.

We also have an participation points system where we made our 'own' marks in a way. Namely if u participate in announced events and stay participating during that event you get an participation point which u can save up to buy 'special' gear or fleet ship modules with.

Bragging rights... Except for some already listed dont forget: Shut up Wesley, first Aquarius, UFP division, or Starfleet Liberty Force who made T5 about a year ago... Great to see smaller fleets still making it to T5 on this post. Not easy by any means and congrats .... But others have done it a while back just to keep in mind. Not a race but why brag about it too. By this time having a T5 fleet is not a guarantee that they are in the top since most 90% have done it unless they just started.
The Turbulent Alliance boasts three core fleets, Turbulent Flow, Turbulent Mayhem and House of turbulence... all tier 5 with all tier 3 assets. We have been around for three years and are geared towards casual / newer players. Check us out at www.turbulentalliance.com. We also have about 5 other fleets that are younger so that you can still earn a lot of Fleet credits. We use one common chat channel called Turbulent Chat. (unfortunate name) lol.

Im the leader of The Infinite Nexus, and yeah that wiki is completly outdated way far, we have been done for about a year+ it feels like lol...
We have since moved onto an "alliance" structure, had met a friend, she runs a fleet called The Infinite Slipstream. Had an officer from The Netherlands leave the fleet, his fleet is called The Infinite Dutchmen.
We tried other Allainces, in game, that just plain flat out didn't work. So we built one from with-in.
Our KDF fleet, has never kept a name, we could all like, so its always changing lol.
We have enough members as well, to keep ALL projects on cooldown daily.
