    Great! Nice Patch Notes :)

It's a pity that the 2 week old bug that prevents Boff's being contributed to Fleet Projects is not yet resolved.

It actually should be, per the known issues section :) It lists DOFFs, but I think it affects both. Please let me know if this is not the case tomorrow when you log-in.

Hmm, I can't remember the last time we had Friday patch. Just out of curiosity (I don't actually own a transwarping Excelsior), if you moved the transwarp console to a different ship, would you still have to claim a new ship and get a new console to transwarp to Tau Dewa?

And another totally random question from this totally random forumite...

Do you know if Kerrat will ever see some love? (and by love I mean fixing it, not euthanizing it.)
I ask nothing but that you remember me.

200 or the wells uniform, are you freaking serious? Weve have been waiting MONTHS for this, and broken words on when they would be released, 2 weeks, then 4 weeks, then 8 weeks. Should be 100-150 like the other uniform, not cool.

    Fleet Advanced Heavy Cruiser Retrofit
    Costs 20,000 FC + 5 fleet modules + 1 military requisition.
1 fleet ship module if you have purchased an Excelsior

how come this is more expensive than the assault cruiser ? , i mean come on 5 fleet module's is excessive tbh

It's because they want to be able to introduce ships which have innate abilities and no console abilities. Originally they weren't going to do that, because then there was no reason to buy the C-store version, but they decided they would include them - just make them more expensive to compensate.

Excelsior has TW to all sectors, which is innate and not a console ability. If it was a console ability, it would be 4 modules, but as it's innate it's 5.

    Got it?

Will this fix the "can't slot boffs" bug?

I didn't see that in the notes, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Especially since it's a pretty serious bug.

It's pretty much strictly better (despite being an older ship, due to having a higher turn rate and the innate transwarp) and gets knocked down to the same price if you purchase the C-Store Excelsior (which you should, since it'll be the same price either way unless you get all your fleet modules via the Exchange).

And it's available two tiers earlier, and the correlating C-Store ship is 500 Zen cheaper. As a Sovereign fan, I want to know how that's fair.

Agreed, good stuff but there are still some issues to be addressed. I also look forward to testing, well, anything. Once Voporak sees the light of STO day again. :(

But on a happier note, the devs are doing a pretty good job of getting stuff done, not just adding fluff (and yes, I know fluff - I'm in a fleet of only kitties ).

No news on the extra commander universal seat exploit due to the shuttle? Its good to have the queues working again but PvP will still not really be fun while there are cheaters flying around in crazy OP ships (oh yes they can still be destroyed, but it is just annoying).

I hope they turn down the nerfed up borg to an acceptable level. C'mon, extra shield powers and hull enforcements blast away with + 100K one hits. Be frekking normal, even in the TV series, a borg vessel was never able to do that.

I can accept that they made it a bit more difficult, but this is way over the top. It's no longer enjoyable, even for the most experienced players around here. GET REAL, PLEASE.

leave the assimilated module as a mission reward for Assimilated please

it's not like you're offering the entire set, or have you failed to realize that the Reman Covariant Shield Array is still a mission reward for Coliseum, and is also a setpiece item

I have to agree with the Assimilated Module being left in the mission and encourage that the other pieces for that set be assigned to other missions in Borg space. There are some great missions in there like Deja Q that people have absolutely no reason to play. Sadly, Cryptic seems to consistantly take away from the best missions in the game and put those rewards into boring, bland, and unwanted sinks and grinds!

That post addresses doffs and Fleet contributions, not Boff slotting.

The rewards for the Undine Font mission "Assimilated" have been updated.
Universal Console - Assimilated Module has been relocated to Tier 1 of the Omega Reputation System.

I really hope this is a misprint. If not, what is the reasoning behind removing an episode reward? Are there plans to remove the Reman Shield, the Breen Set, and the Jem'hadar set as well?

The Assimilated Module is now in the Repuation System along with 2 new pieces that make a new 3-piece set.

It makes little sense to have it available for free from the mission and for Dilithium in the Reputation System. Guess which one people will always choose if they know it's there.

The Reman shield, if it's the same as one in the Reputation System, may eventually be next.

Unless they do Breen and Dominion Reputation tracks, though, I have a strong feeling they're staying where they are.

Well, I'm looking forward to testing some of that stuff.

Let's see whether I'll finally be able to complete tagging Epohhs, or if my Mirror Vor'cha will actually keep its boff slots or loose them altogether, as on Tribble. Or if privates are even playable with all the "known issues" mentioned.

    Shall be an interesting patch.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

    Nov. 30, 2012 patch notes

#1) The new fleet ships for Federation require a tier 5 shipyard but the new fleet ships for KDF require a tier 3 shipyard.

#2) Here is an example and it's the same for some other fleet ships "Only 1 fleet ship module if you have purchased the Sovereign refit."
The problem? This is NOT a discount! Never has been for any fleet ships that reduce the cost to 20k fleet credits and a single fleet ship module after buying a specific ship from the C-store first. Why? To buy the C-store ship first costs 2000-2500 Zen and the fleet ship module costs 500 Zen, for a total of 2500-3000 Zen. If you pay the 4 fleet ship modules without buying the C-store version first you're looking at a flat cost of 2000 Zen. This is a trick to fool people into buying MORE Zen to get the same ship all so they can save some fleet credits.

#3) The new 29th century uniform is going into the Lobi Store for 200 Lobi Crystals. As far as I know all Lobi Store items are single character only. If it was placed in the C-store it would probably cost 550 Zen like the rest and be an account unlock. Purchase once and that's it. But it would cost probably $15 in Zen for keys to open lockboxes up to maybe over $50 in Zen depending on how many Crystals you get per box. Even if you are extremely lucky and get the maximum crystals per box you are still paying more for the costume for a single character than if you purchased it for all characters from the C-store.

Edit: #4) I'm getting tired of seeing all these new cruisers and science ships. I prefer playing a tactical officer. 2 new fleet cruisers for a total of 3 that require shipyard tier 5, and they are the only shipyard tier 5 ships offered. (I'm talking Fed side. Could care less about KDF. Not enough content to even bother with it over there)

I was looking forward to this costume and planning on buying it with Zen but they've made themselves clear they won't be putting any new costumes/uniforms in the C-store anymore because they can make more money selling it to you more for 1 character. And if you want it for multiple characters you're looking at a good chunk of change.

Tired of this TRIBBLE. For the time being, my decision to swing by my local Game Stop in December to buy my usual $40 or more in Zen cards for the month, have been canceled.

#1) The new fleet ships for Federation require a tier 5 shipyard but the new fleet ships for KDF require a tier 3 shipyard.

Actually there's one of each for bother Federation and KDF. For the Feds, the Fleet Assault Cruiser requires shipyard tier 5, but the Fleet Advanced Heavy Cruiser Retrofit only requires shipyard tier 3. For the KDF, the Fleet B'rel Bird of Prey is tier 5, and the Fleet Varanus Support Vessel is tier 3.

-Reduced duration on T3-T5 Reputation XP projects from 40 hours to 20 hours.
-This matches T1 and T2 project durations.

When have T1-T2 projects ever had 20 hour durations? Did I miss something?

question I have is what are they going to replace the Borg console with ? It's beyond me why they are removing the reward in the first place ( unless they want no other play-style anywhere in the game except marks grind ,eventually ) .There's absolutely no harm done leaving it in , you still have the grind for all other pieces etc.
