you might think from the tittle im just another person who pissed at the klingons for killing him so much well its true but the tittle its telling the truth

first off i know klingons are over powered because when i started playing as a Klingon and got to level 30 with only 3 weapons in the front of my bird of prey i could insta kill escorts , i could kill cruisers in a few seconds  and by my standards that too much power.trust me i know thats too much because my fed player has a fleet tactical escort retrofit with 4 weapons in the front 5 tact slots and i cant kill any klingon bird of pray with one shoot  and trust me iv tried many different weapon combinations :(.

i rest my case, now its all up to judge Judy.

The KDF was originally launched as a PvP only faction- so the ships all the way up to lvl 40 are better than Fed side - if you want equal Fed ships they cost C-points.

I'm curious how it's the KDF's fault? Put the same guns on the equivelant escort on fed side, and you get the same results. FASTER results, even, because KDF ships get shafted in durability (especially BoPs).

Quite often the KDF players are just better with the ships they have. It has to be this way because they rarely get new ships.

Still the cloak is a very powerful tactical advantage - especially with an Alpha strike.

He must be doing it wrong - If I can catch a BoP out of cloak -in a fleet defiant - myself coming out of cloak - Alpha strike + EpTw+CRF3+TS3

Buffed when alpha striking my dual heavies do about 2214.5 dps and my torps do about 6336.8 dps. Combine that alpha with hitting the target with a fire on my mark, gravitic anchor and maybe a disruptor proc you have some crazy damage resistance debuff (-52 damage resistance and -50% defence).

I'll leave you with a quote (might make no sense, I'm running on no sleep).
"So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss. If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose. If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself."

Klinkydinks'll prob hate me for letting out this top secret intel, but if anyone Fedside wants to brush off a sneaky Klink, just hit TT (Tactical Team) and EPtS when you hear that woobly decloaking noise nearby. Bam, now you're very much alive, he's out of buffs and you just ruined his day.

Let's not blame the player. The fault is on Cryptic side. PvE is so easy it does not prepare the average player for a typical PvP encounter. But all this really starts at the character creation. A new player does not know, that the default races sucks and lacking 10% of accuracy and 10% defence for example is a HUGE difference in the big picture.

    As you level up..

    - You do not need to balance your shield
    - You do not need to move at high speed to max defence bonus
    - You rarely miss because mobs have low defence rating
    - You rarely die because NPCs lack the spike
    - Yout boff selection does not matter in PvE
    - Your doff seletcion does not matter in PvE
    - etc.etc.

Hence in majority of cases a fed player that for some reason ventures to a FvK is an easy target. And even if you are good, the bad players in your team will pull you down with them.

I wouldn't say Klingon ships are better, but their natural strenght lies in stats that are valuable in pvp combat, such as turn rate. And they are far from gimped. Galaxy class is gimped.
"Cryptic Studio’s Jack Emmert (2010): Microtransactions are the biggest bunch of nonsense. I like paying one fee and not worrying about it – like my cellphone. The world’s biggest MMO isn’t item based, even though the black market item GDP is bigger than Russia … microtransactions make me want to die.”

I'll agree with you on the skill part. Good BoP pilots are likely to be some of the best players in the game, if they're able to translate their skill into other classes. That's because it's challenging to be effective with those ships, as they're deliberately underpowered.

Not really a secret, you've just gotta have your head out of your rear. Sadly, a lot of PvE players never make this realization, and then whine about how 'OP' the KDF is.

I've caught good players offguard with my decloak alphas, though. Make it quick enough, and it's difficult for them to react in time. And. . .even if it fails, I can almost always escape before I get ganked by a rescue squad. Hit and run, that's the ticket. Strike, retreat, repeat.

That's true, but the TT formula only breaks down when you get to extremely high levels of burst (full-buffed BO3 crit or something). Even then a little simple teamplay can shut down that kind of build, just take a Sci cappy friend who can watch your back and spam aux-buffed SS for you.

Whenever I play Klinkside I've been caught off guard by good Fed players who work as a team so many times it isn't even funny. You really start to see the weaknesses of Klink ships.

Always interesting and amusing to see someone blame the hardware for their own faults. People pay zero attention to who they are actually fighting. It is the enemy Captain, not the ship. The ship is just the shiny metal box we keep our toys in. If we choose the wrong toys, or we fight the ship in a style it wasn't intended for, why is it the opposing team's fault? BOP's are eggshells. Deadly eggshells, but eggshells nonetheless. The guy flying the BOP is what adds the "deadly' part.

I fly a Vor'cha Retrofit which I acquired as soon as I allowed to. I have spent a great deal of time and EC's outfitting it to match the style I play the game with. It isn't as fast as some ships but I can almost turn inside a BOP at the lower speed settings. Since IKS Qul Taj is a Klingon ship, I decided to stick with Klingon weapons instead of some of the more exotic types. I then spent weeks looking for the BOFF skills, consoles and DOFFs to make those weapons as effective as possible. Played a lot of PvP to test the things I wanted. Got my posterior handed to me more times than not. Took notes and learned from my mistakes. My Vor' cha Retrofit is not just OP! She is radically OP! I am quite proud of the fact I worked long and hard to make her this way. Went back and did the same thing with my Fed ships, too. Are they OP as well? You betcha sweet patootie they are! But this is okay because they're Fed, amiright?

Now, you want the Dev's to nerf my Klingon ship to the point where all you need do is frown harshly in my direction to kill me? So someone besides yourself can correct the mistakes you make by handing you a GodShip? News flash for ya. You'll die just as fast in that GodShip as you do right now. So then what? I feel badly for you. Seriously. If you aren't willing to make the effort to learn to play the game well, which takes more than five minutes, then it doesn't matter what the Devs give you. You'll be just as unsatisfied with whatever it may be.
