In all seriousness I would like to see each race as its own faction just not grouped under "KDF". I would like to see Romulans, Ferengi, maybe Cardassian etc. each with their respective ships to choose from. Why can't we roll Borg or play as Borg?
The Federation side is nice the rest of the factions need a lot of work.
Think about it... there are already DOFF assignments to help splinter/rebel groups of Federation folks, and you have to figure there's at least a few humans or small groups who have thrown in with the Empire, particularly during the brief peace between the two.
And hey, if you can have Federation Klingons, it makes just about as much sense to have the reverse.
I'd love to see romulans and remans on both fed and KDF side...with a prelude feature episode at which you have to decide which side you join with your ship and crew
Uh? No. Go pro or go home - make a full romulan and reman faction.
Have to agree with you there. I hope I never see either of those races in either existing faction. Well I'm not so bothered about the Remans, but it definitely wouldn't feel right for the Romulans to completely disperse into both factions. The Romulans have always been strong and independent, so they lost their homeworld, that doesn't mean all of a sudden they became a minor power. They still have plenty of ships, outposts, starbases, colonies and now they have "New Romulus"...
I use an all Klingon crew and try where I can to have an all or mostly Klingon doff roster, don't need these random races among the warriors of the Klingon Empire!
Any race added needs to be unique to the Klingons. I thought it dumb to add joined Trills to KDF, as well as the sabertooth Caitians.
KDF really needs its own identity.
How the Devs see Star Trek, apparently:
Star Trek: The Original Grind
Star Trek: The Next Grind
Star Trek: Deep Space Grind
Star Trek: Voyage to the Grind
Firstly, thanks for that clarification. Not only are the Hydrans, Lyrans, and ISC not even options, but the ISC are pacifists and the Hydrans are sworn enemies of the empire. I COULD see the Lyrans... if not for the fact that they are SFU only.
Second, I support the idea that humans should become Klingon-playable. Think about it. We're humans. There are plenty of freelancers amoung us.
I would say Romulans, but it would make no sense having Romulans in the KDF.
We've already got them; Klingon players who have completed the Romulan Reputation gain a Bridge Officer. I'd agree with you, such an alliance seems highly unlikely, but then FED and KDF players get to have a Breen Boff, so lore isn't exactly a strong theme here.

Well, I believe there was a Trill descent species that cater to the KDF, it maybe canon - also keep in mind that Dax was among the warriors - so why not several of the Trill race partake of the glorious empire.
Romulans - They can make a mix breed which is canon - There was a TNG episode that dealt with Romulan/Klingon Hybrids.
The Kzinti is still not out of the way - they can still push for the license to design them.
Ferasans are a JOKE and UTTER Tripe - I was sad when they introduce the Gothic Emo Thundercats - out of gazillion canon species from the show, they decided to go with a more cheaper, unimagnitive creation - They are NOT Canon and should not even be in the game.
All they are, are Purple colored Caitians with Punk hairdos and fangs.
This was brought up before, but I think that the KDF could use something like the Mazone. A single gendered race of world conquering, ruthless, cunning plant people that use everything from disguises, infiltration, all out force and even orbital bombardment, but are refined and elegant to a fault. That sort of thing would make strong allies of the KDF.
These guys would be better suited as allies to (an eventual) Romulan Faction. Yes, they are a Delta Quadrant Species, but who knows how far out to the Galaxy their subspace corridors go?
But I don't think the Vaduarr would accept being Contract mercs or any thing less than equals to Klingons. I don't think they would accept being equals, because at some point they would start to think everyone in the empire was out to get them and would make civil war. No I think It's in the Empires best interest to destroy these fools on sight.

If they do go for human's, it should Aguements like Khan.
I'd like to change my vote to
1) Xindi Insectiods because a) thier ships look cool, b) they have cool abilities, c) thier none hierachical society would drive the klingons nuts.
2) Still Shiliek
3) The Fleecem dealing Barracka (not sure I spell that right).
You can
Not easy to get the skin tone right of course

Ooooo. Now there's an idea!
PUT THESE GUYS IN KDF. THEY HATE THE FEDERATION. THEY ARE SAVAGE AND EVEN HAVE COMPARED THEMSELVES TO KLINGONS.

Meeeeehhhhhhh. I don't care much for the Delta Quadrant species.
They have no sense of honor or loyalty. They will not find allies in the Klingon Empire.
Yridians
Takarans
Selay
Ktarians
Chalnoth
Those would be my picks if I had to chose one.
Ktarians I a guy I like to see somthing other than Orion slave girl running around First city.
Graphics wise you could do cool things with the Takarans give a nice purple glow effect.

We've already got this it's the Alien species.
Try thinking back to the facility 4028 mission and notice the special attacks she has.
That coupled with the liquid form:
