In case you guys aren't aware, these are genetically-modified versions of a real creature from an early TOS episode More canon enemies are a good thing, even if they're minor
And it's awesome to see them again
Was named Trek17.
Been playing STO since Open Beta, and have never regarded anything as worse than 'meh', if only due to personal standards.
In case you aren't aware, there is nothing real about this creature.
Well I said 'real' in the context that this is a real creature from ST. Sure the last one was killed by McCoy, but it's clearly living through it's counterparts here (sorta)
So the Romulans are mining and building, but have to worry about the zombies coming for them?
.
..
...
Do these zombies also explode when you kill them?
Heck i hope we have a diplomatic solution here, those Salt Suckers only want something to eat after all, last time i checked they were an intelligent shape shifting Species you could communicate with ...not just some mindless Monster.
Instead of shooting them we should give them a Replicator to replicate Salt... (or whatever it is they want from the Romulans).
Problem solved.
The real question here is, who engineered them Salt Suckers 2.0 and why?
I can think of a few easier ways to disable a mine, like a photon torpedo for example.
If they want to leave the mine intact, maybe they want to take it over?
Other Romulans are unlikely to be the evil behind the scenes here, they would also get attacked by the Sault Suckers 2.0.
Somebody has an agenda here and i want to know who and what that is.

That creature on M113 was also capable of shapeshifting... might be tough to fight it.
When I played it on Tribble during Branflakes little event a couple weeks ago, some of the Romulans standing around the town would turn into them and ambush you when you tried to warn them in the first phase.
Not particularly tough to fight, but some of them took a ton of damage to drop.
Getting run over by a car as you walk down a street is also unexpected, but that doesn't make it interesting.
Yeah yeah, we get it; you arent happy. Too bad, so sad(not really). But if it makes you feel any better, the rest of us will enjoy this new content for you

GAWD.
I just found my first real love in the form of a ground mission. And all because of SALT VAMPYAHZ!!!
Though the New Romulus Zone could be a runner-up.
I'm thinking you want to change one of those negatives, there.
Good catch.
Thats the best they can come up with ?

Debatable.
Also debatable.
Don't quite remember when I signed up for Resident-Evil-Online...
Why not? It's unexpected so it's really interesting!

no matter what enemy they add, canon or not. someone wont like it.
According to the Tribble patch notes, you can also get a Kill Accolade for them and I love earning those.
