    I must say it was nice to have something new to do in the game besides the same ol same ol. Great work and am looking forward to many more new things.

    Closing Doors
    • Three Devices around Portals do not reset still. Mission still not completable.
    • Portals Respawn
    • --As portals Respawn Tholians Respawn
    • ----Tholians respawn way too fast.
    • ----Had an instance where I killed two Ensigns, went to kill the third, the first respawned, then the second, constant stream.

    General
    • Shard of Possibilities, and other summonable pets now work fine.
    • --Shard of Possibilities shadows appear without suits, but run around and survive anyway.

    Actually the security escort is still bugged. If you roll more then 2 escorts beaming down the others show up with no suit and fry. The two with suits survive.

    The damned tholians respawn far too much, I swear. I can't get through a single crystal mining event wihtout 3 people covering me. other then that its kinda fun.

    Feedback
    - Cross Faction Teams not allowed in this zone it seems. (BAD - especially for KDF. Please allow).

    Bug / Exploit
    - I was able to kill the Tholian Project Leader by myself
    - How: Used Shard of Possibilities during encounter.
    - After your Shard Clones appear the boss stops fighting back, allowing him to be defeated without challenge.

    I haven't been able to get into Nukara at all. I received the mission, but when I actually try to enter Nukara from Sector Space, the game client crashes during the loading screen. It appears to be trying to patch something, then craps out with the load around 40-50%.

    I've tried this several times throughout the day, deleted my character from Tribble and copied it back over, verified I could get into other areas. I'm not sure how to track down what if anything specific to me is triggering the crash. Any suggestions?

    This may or may not have been mentioned. I only did the two easy missions but found something odd in my travels.

    I saw two waterfalls in my wanderings, both of them when I looked at the top of the waterfall had a pale fawn coloured sphere floating about a metre or two (in game distance) out from the cliff from which the water was falling.

    I couldn't see a reason for them to be there, so pretty sure it's a bug.

    This is why I think the Mining event should update for an entire party not just individuals. Because you need people to cover you it doesn't make sense to not have it reward the team mates who are sitting there defending you as they do so.

    I haven't had that Doff ability proc since the change so I was not aware of it. Thanks for the heads up.

    Can somebody else try out this glitch, I don't know if it's just me.

    My EV Suit remains visible when my armor, under the toon stats, is set to remain visible. Even when the EV Suit is disengaged.

    I tried asking in the game but I keep getting disconnected (Bad internet night), and I didn't feel like trolling the others conversations until someone responded. ...I'm not like that.:confused:

    Hey, I was doing the exterior's Easy missions, and realized something...

    Industrial Sabotage = Collecting the Tholian's science reports
    Scientific Sabotage = Sabotaging the rift sensor things

    Shouldn't these two missions swap names? Because right now, the thing we're sabotaging is the exact opposite of the mission's name. It might confuse some people
    Was named Trek17.

    Been playing STO since Open Beta, and have never regarded anything as worse than 'meh', if only due to personal standards.

    Hi,

    here is my feedback to the Tholian Invasion:

    I think the Map is great, but I have had some problems:

    1.) "Exterior: Closing Doors" seems to be broken, I collected 51x Tholian Phase Stabilizer Shutdown codes, but the mission still said "collect"... And there is no way to get rid of them!

    2.) Security-Escorts spawn in EV-Suits and survive, but additional Security-Escorts (through my Doffs) will burn...

    3.) Why don't you add the "sonic" to Omega-/KHG-/MACO-Set? Were this Sets not meant to battle all "high level threats"? You don't need an instant remodulator for the Tholian-Invasion, but it would be nice to have the 2-Set Bonuses working...
    I got sonic dual-pistols and they seem to be better for this invasion. (The info-text of those pistols read: "[...]to battle ships[...]", are we supposed to battle ships with hand-weapons in space?!?)

    Look at the light on top of your helmet (you've got to turn the view-angle to a front-perspective), if it is on, your suit is enabled.

    I took mission [Medium] Rescuing Redshirts. It was very easy since there were no tholians there.

    And in the cave, it seems to be very hard to rescue prisoners since tholians were respawning very quickly. I was not able to get to distant prisoner cells - I was killed very quickly, so I only rescue prisoners in one room just behind the first door.

    But, good work!

    Not bad. Reminds me a lot of Defera Invasion.
    The drops are kind of annoying. Very heavy on EV suits. I did 6 missions and got 1 rifle, 5 suits.

    Can't wait until all the bugs are worked out

    Engineering turrets work now!!!

    I did find another bug. When turning in missions to the Interior Expedition Leader, it takes two attempt to complete.

    You can't bean little tholian enseigns? Weird.

    For the medium exterior part, it's so easy that it should be the main farming location for fleetmarks. No enemy at all is really comfortable to farm quietly. :D

    What seems to be missing is some decent rewards. If people got a mkxii ev set and some elite lvl content it would be a great addition instead of a step down

    Last night results

    1 - finally weapon from box drop, Mk XII sonic
    2 - clones from shard can survive, but not wearing EV suits
    3 - security teams - beamed 3 people, 2 with EV survive, third (buff from DOff) without EV killed by environment
    4 - when beamed in to the Nukara, it looked like I'm without EV (and I had it equiped), switched EV on and everything looked as it should
    5 - cosing rifts is finally working
    6 - undiscartable items (science chip, rift chip and mined crystals from exerior)- thats really big problem, do something!!!
    7 - horta pet and combat horta can survive

    PS - my sehlat pet can survive too

    Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but one of the prisoners I freed from the crystal prison... things... got stuck. I broke his cage, he did the "falling out" animation, but he didn't reach the floor. He was still attached to the wall.

    That meant he was out of reach for me to activate him so he could beam out.

    Feedback indeed. The Tholian missions are FAR TOO EASY. My friend and I went in, and the Tholians are just way too easy to tear apart. Sure, if you get caught off guard by 5-6 of them, you can die. But otherwise... meh.

    The aformentioned glitches of items not being able to be removed, and "Closing Doors" not working (where the hell are we supposed to go for that one!?) are still valid as of this posting. Please work on these before holo-decking them.

    It is found in Eta Eridani, Nakura System.
    Well the missions are good playable. But for some missions you have to be in a team.
    But I didn't get any rewards and I played more than an hour.

    hi,

    tholian are pretty nice but fight with tholian is boring .. i shoted them to one shot /tac cap/.. with security team and shard i have army that defeat whole map.

    Mission for 2-3 players i have comleted quite easy ..

    But anyway this is grinding and i dont know why can i gring this stuff .. tholian set ??

    More testing

    1 - sonic weapons must look diferent than pulsewave rifle
    2 - closing doors buged again - no rifts on map
    3 - good work on interior medium - Tholians are dropping science reports now
    4 - have 2/3 set, shield and armor, maybe crystal EV might look more diferent than ordinary EV

    A little laggy, but presumably just due to it being Tribble, and lots in the same area.

    The areas do generally seem a little easy - not that I want things with a million hitpoints that just don't die, or because I want to be swarmed by a zillion of them, but the web attacks, and other specials don't seem to fire often/at all, so it's very much move in, fire off a volley, take a round, and the enemy is downed; rinse and repeat.

    A little more relationship between the AI units would always be nice.

    Tested both hard missions with the new patch, it's incredibly easy now, even the research leader offers less challenge now. The interior hard with the ship has been hugely nerfed, basically we just need to activate the devices to win.

    But there was no beef on the medium missions, it's still incredibly easy and a farming spot with zero challenge since there is no or too few mobs. 2 or 3 ensigns wandering in the med zone is quite disappointing, we would need some lieutenants and commanders there too, like on defera.

    Some things i saw:

    - Found Tholians somehow more aware of suroundings than yesterday.

    - killed the research leader boss alone, he got stuck just at the spawn point of the player.

    - There weren?t any minions spawn at all just the research boss alone.

    - Close gates mission in exterior still not working, although there are plenty of Tholian spawns
    that wasnt there yesterday.

    I've just a bit of feedback. In the mission "Rescuing Redshirts", When you 'shoot' the trapped friend, there is a slight change the guy won't fall down to the ground and stays up there, so sometimes I can't get to him.:( Also the spawn time of the Tholians are way too fast! I was standing there and killed a Tholian when suddenly another Tholian just spawned!:eek: Other than that, I thought it was great fun despite the lag and all:) Can't wait for Season Six!

    This area was grindy and not real fun. I love the way Tholians move, but I want to do something more interesting than see one, kill one, see another, kill another.

    You really want me to mine THAT much, and with pesky Tholians interrupting me all of the time. I only took one trip with one character all the way through the asteroid dilithium min on Holodeck. I almost did with the my sci Orion, but it was bugged for KDF. I haven't looked back since, and I am not going to do it here either.

    The easy single player missions in the cave and on the surface are to much focussed on grinding for my taste.
    I enjoyed the puzzles and riddles in the bajoran/ dominion episode spacewalking over ds9. But realy nice graphics and the twist with the extremely toxic environment is somwhat trilling.

    encountered some isues

    - Tholians react somewhat unpredictable. Sometimes they shoot on sight and sometimes you can walk just in front of them without reaction.

    - The Questgivers menues on the surface and in the cave are reacting oddly. I turned in more than 1 resolved mission and was redirected to the mainmenue where the missions are listed. ( completed and available ) clicking on any other mission leads to leave the interaction with the questgiver.

    - encountered some missing dialogue in the cave. incacerated mirrorunivere officer tryed to tell me something about the second fire function of a prototype polaron rifle but there was only [lie1] [...2] instead of text.

    - Tholians seem to have no animation when attacked with the Ophidian Cane.
