We spend more time collecting loots than fighting spider-men on easy, that's not fun at all. And the mobs just ignoring me in easy/medium is just weird. If you don't attack them they'll walk quietly.
Zone wide collecting : it's quicker not to mine (since it's boring) and to collect immediately the 5 item than trying to play the game. 300 is a lot and i don't intend to mine like mad for 30 minutes.
Oh and I'm getting stuck in zone transfer after respawning in the hard zone. It says "patching but stays at 0kbps. I've been experiencing that already in defera, but this time it's pretty long.
More to come when i get out of the limbo.
Okay i've been moved to the cave without any reason nor any explanation on what to do. It's a bit tedious to findwhat you guys expect from us there...
Engineering deployables(turrets, generators, drones, force field dome) are taking the period damage from not having an EV suit equipped. They only last a few seconds before blowing up.
Combatlog entry:
[4:48] officer Cover Shield III loses 99 Fire Damage from Extreme Heat.
Edit: also appears that tholians have no animation when they are affected by the Ophidian Cane
An interesting addition in my opinion. I just hope that it is not going to be time gated.
So far following needs to be improved in my opinion:
1. Security escorts appear in environmental suits (a cool idea), but do not survive for a second.
2. A quest to open 20 prisoner cells in an environment with only 8 cell controls works technically, but is not rational, because you have to wait for a minute and open the same cell more than once. Does some Tholian grab recently liberated prisoners and put them back into the same cell on the other end?
3. Kill a Tholian, satrt mining a crystal and 20 seconds later the same Tholian returns and attacks you while you mine. Either respawn times are too short or mining is not expected by the level design.
4. Funny dialogs of the type:
A: I said Tholians that water is wet.
B: This seems to be correct.
A. Why do you think so?
B: Water is wet.
A: You are smarter than you look.
Better would be:
A: I said Tholians <some statement>.
B: This seems to be correct/wrong.
So far, not impressed. No matter what I do, I cannot find anything even remotely related to a Tholian Incursion. How do I access this mission, and how do I access the Nakura Prime system?

i beg to differ: if you're close enough to a tholian for a period of time (or any NPC really), they WILL notice you and attack. it's very noticable during the mining game.
now off this reply, a few bugs i encountered:
* during the mining minigame, there was this one time where when the bar went to the right, and the number it gave me was +0, instead of +15 like it should have have been at that point. it might have been lag though.
* when turning in any of the missions, it disappears from our mission list on the right... but not from the pop-up text from the commander. we have to click the 'complete' option on there once or twice before it disappears. and then we have to exit out before the mission appears again
and yeah, the mining mini-game is always being interrupted by tholians, unless you're being covered by another person or you're just plain lucky... it's kinda interesting though

I haven't got to play yet but I'm guessing you mean the white and gold trim jacket outfit? If so it's awarded for getting rank 4 in diplomacy.
No, they've got the NPCs wearing the First Contact style environmental suits (Picard and Worf on the Enterprise deflector array fighting the borg style).

You enter the Neutral Zone first, then you get a pop-up of the mission immediately afterward. after accepting, you proceed to Nakura Prime and enter
of course, if you haven't patched this to Tribble yet, you'll never be able to find it

Also noticed a lot of lag and when walking it feels and looks like you are constantly bumping into invisible objects.
Also the Omega Force carbine still doesn't show holstered and I still can't change to my Omega Force or Diplomat costumes even though it is supposedly fixed in the patch notes.
My main character is T'Les which was also my former forum name and I want it back! Hylarr is one of my alts.
Oh, and also, there is no Discard option for the Crystal Fragments. I'm not sure if this applies to the other Tholian Ground items we get over the course of missions.
Edit: it does, at least as far I've been able to determine.

This is not really a bug, but when I have the full MACO suit equipped (including helmet) I think I should be able to beam into a Demon class planet without changing my suit. I realize that this may be a simple problem hooking up the STF visuals to the environmental suit flag, but I think it is something you should consider.
After all, what is the point of the full MACO suit if not for missions like this?
EDIT:
And the transport to icons in the lower right corner near the transporters do not say the full text.
And why is my Horta dying? I thought Hortas loved the heat?
And the webbed officers do not fall down to your level but often remain trapped up high on the rocks and unaccessible.
You sure it's not the M.A.C.O. costume? They sort of look like the first contact E.V. suit.
Yes, yes we are. I'd post pictures but frankly I'll just invite you to go to the Tholian map and see the difference between MACO and 24th Century EV suits. Then you can wonder how you ever thought we could be so stupid :')
opened tholian eqiupment requiesition and nothing happened!
Had same issue. Completed the two easy missions and collected two requisition packs. Opened first and got armoired EVA suit. Opened 2nd and nothing happened.
Edit: Sorry saw the link to the release notes after posting and realized it is already documented as a known issue.
Question: during the Phase Stablizer mission (Medium difficulty), I've gone in there on my own (:D), but I've gotten 10 of those Shutdown codes, but no prompts to do... well, anything really.
What do I need to do to shut down the rifts? Or do I need other players to do that?

Transdimensional Tactics: Line of site issues out the aft. Can't shoot anything until you're right up on top of it even if you can see it. Annoying as hell.
Scheduled self destruct: no information about the traps, and no way to repair the comptuer core, also no break between waves. This leads to people being overwealmed and not knowing how to take care of it.
So far, my rating is at 0. I spent an hour going in and out of every sector block trying to figure out where to go in order to activate the mission. No success. I am much too old, and no longer possess the patience, to be wandering around in search of something that apparently does not exist.
Advice for this mission: give us specific instructions on where to go. The blog said to go to Nakura Prime. Make the mission activate there, or put it in the "Available" tab of the "Missions" page.

If you read the blog, it tells you:
Play on Tribble and complete at least one (1) mission in the Tholian Incursion ground map (found on Nukara Prime in the Eta Eridani Sector Block) and earn* the exclusive Ang the Vicious Duty Officer.

In a topic about the Tholians you think Im asking about the Diplomacy outfit? No the First Contact EV suit is being worn by NPC on Nukura Prime.

So, I roamed all around Romulan space, but there is no such pop-up for a mission of any kind. In fact, there is no Nuetral Zone at all.
Where do I go?
And yes, I did patch right before I played.

Allow me to casually remind you to check the Release notes here: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=297211
Specifically of interest will be the first bullets about where to find the Tholians, and the list of Known Issues.
Enjoying the missions but stuck on closing doors, have a stack of the codes but can find anything to disable with them

Yes, 100% positive. They are the First Contact EV suits, not the MACO costume.
