Below is a reference sheet, and some close-ups of the Tholian ships you will encounter when Season 6 launches. Time to get familiar.

Was it intentional that the Tarantula Dreadnought is reminiscent of the Krenim Temporal Weapon Ship from Year of Hell?

I am hoping these are not an easy pushover as the last Cryptic game to have a Recluse included :)

    I love it.

They range in size from "pesky nuisance" to "OH GOD IT'S COMING RIGHT AT US". Amazing.

No one will ever replace CapnLogan, but damnit Jamz, you are every bit the polygon god he was, IMO.

It's easy to use simple geometric shapes. Although the Tholian ships look good, they generally use various sizes of triangles for their ship design. It's infinitely harder to design and model a more detailed and curved ship, like most Federation designs.

CapnLogan's reputation as a "Ship God" remains standing. JamJamz still has "much to learn" from the master, imho.

The bigger question is, which one (or ones) of these ships have the web-weaving ability?

A few years ago there was a news frenzy here in New York because some brown recluses were showing up when produce was shipped to the city. Heh no spider of any type was safe from stomping for a few years after everyone heard how bad the recluse bite could be.

Wow nice looking designs. Especially the widow! There is a familiar look! But uh... I may be wrong but I thought Tholian ships were named after gems? Like the Amethyst class, Ruby class and the Quartz class like in Klingon Academy...? Its been so long so I apologize truly if I am wrong as I hope you don't think I'm discrediting your work in any way cuz I'm not! It made sense though especially after observing them in the original series, Enterprise, and Star Trek: Shattered Universe that they looked crystalline in appearance... But amazing work! Can't wait to see them in action!

It's possible you're right, but those ships could be from a now obsolete design. Perhaps at some point CBS will be taking things from STO...

Not mad at all actually. Just been around in various modding/modelling communities for a number of years, and I tend to know what to look for, when it comes to ships looking good or bad.

Not saying the Tholian ships are bad (they aren't), but they certainly aren't as difficult to make, as it is to make a more fluid/smooth like ship, such as the Federation designs. Also, I tend to avoid "kissing a--", which apparently you rather enjoy indulging in.

Obsolete, maybe... But boy did they look menacing when they were coming at you! Just like these new ones!
