Oh yes. Another thing about TOR that is not correct. Inquisitors are supposed to be those specializing in the use of the Force, many of which later become sorcerers. It is essentially the Sith equivalent of the Jedi Consular. The highest of these could fight entirely without sabres or physical weapons of any kind, but by solely using the Force. This class has evolved past the use of lightsabres, yet many of them did still carry lightsabres, if only to embarrass the Jedi.

Had Darth maul lived in the days of the old Sith Empire, Darth Maul would have been classified as a Warrior/Marauder, the soldiers who specialize in the use of weaponry of all sorts. These are be the ones who experiment in the use of "exotic weaponry" such as double-bladed sabres or whips. Sadly, a great many of these soldiers possessed little or almost no connection to the Force at all, therefore receiving only the basic training in the Force, and were useless in such matters as a result.

In the words of Darth Sidious himself: "Warriors are animals. Agents like Darth Maul have their uses, but can never expand beyond their limited tasks."

Well, my birthday is in a week, and I think I may treat myself to a new ship for Winston. He is a Tactical, so he would best fit an Escort. Plus those are the only Feddy ships that can equip cannons. The only problem is that I don't which ship to get.

    Kumari Pack:
    Advantages:
    1. From what I have read, the set bonuses seem quite good.
    2. I already have 3k Zen, so I only need to put up 20 Euros to get the full set.

    Disadvantages:
    1. It forces me into a Phaser Build.
    2. The upgraded guns cost an insane amount of Dilithium that I cannot get near as quick anymore.

    Mobius Destroyer
    Advantages:
    1. The universal slots allow me to customize the bridge officer crew as I see fit.
    2. The set bonuses given by the timeship consoles can very well keep me alive far better than much of anything else Winston has access to at the moment. (0 reputation as of yet.)

    Disadvantages:
    1. Whether I use 800 Lobi or sell keys, the cost just for this one ship is more Zen spent than the entire Kumari Pack would cost. Yes, I did the math.
    2. Highly unlikely that any fleetmates just so happen to have a spare Mobius in their bank that I can buy/trade/beg/steal from them.
    2. In addition to that, I would have to shell out even more Zen to get Lobi for the other temporal set consoles.

    Fleet Advanced Escort
    Advantages:
    1. I have wanted the Hephaestus Class version ever since I first saw it last summer. :D
    2. If I buy the Multi-Vector version, the Fleet version will only cost one Module.
    3. The assistance given by the Multi-Vector drones can allow a good player to solo a Cube.
    4. I already have 3k Zen, so I can just go ahead and get the Multi-Vector, and start saving for a Module.
    5. That one Module, I can hopefully buy/trade/beg/steal from a fleetmate.

    Disadvantages:
    1. It has 3 Tactical officer slots. Sacrificing an Engineer slot would hinder my ability to keep my shields up. As an Escort, the small size makes it heavily dependant on what little hull and shields it has.
I completed a 2-man CSE, ISE, and KASE, Optionals included. And I soloed Winter Invasion.

I'm not a fan of the Hephaestus, if you use the Prometheus skin go for Fleet Advanced Escort. I don't really like the Kumari. Mobius is okay, but I would go for Prommy...

Personally I am saving up Zen for May, if there's a Scimitar pack I wants it...

I currently use the Mirror version (because of the better bridge officer slots). I spent some time playing around with the designs, but I only found Prometheus to be bulky and disproportioned. And the Phoenix design looks like a flying cloud (). I myself use the Cerberus for everything except the top pylons, which are Prometheus. Me being aeronautics-minded, the sleek and streamlined design of the Cerberus was the only one that looked good to me. Then you have the top pylons......which Cerberus would have sticking straight out. To solve this, the Prometheus pylons keep the nacelles firmly next to the hull. Plus, I find that I really like the staggered look of the top nacelles being farther aft than the bottom nacelles.

I guarantee you it will not have the instakill Thalaron gun. () Also, if Cryptic does not give us a cat or dog species, I am not going to be playing Rommy side. I really want a Rommykitty species to correspond with what we have already, and additional bonuses for unlocking all 3 of them, just like we have set bonuses for using things of the same series.

As an escort captain, I think I can help here.

In my opinion, the Kumari's too fragile. The tactical version is quite horrendous (that boff layout is possibly the worst in escort history). The other two you could possibly work around, but there's also the fact that they all have only two rear weapon slots. That means that when you're not facing your target you're only hitting them with two turrets. Oh yeah, and not to mention that to use those shiny wing cannons you're stuck with phasers.
    Mobius Destroyer
    Advantages:
    1. The universal slots allow me to customize the bridge officer crew as I see fit.

This one here is a nice ship, but it's all about whether you want to spend all that money on it.

The fleet MVAE can be a pretty good ship if you know how to use it. It's got an extra science boff slot which can make the thing pull a gravity well, if you want that. I've never used its separation (I don't own the thing) so I can't really tell you about that.

My opinion is that between the Mobius and fleet MVAE, the Mobius is what I would go for the Mobius if you can. Otherwise, shoot for the MVAE.
I ask nothing but that you remember me.

I know that I can separate the quote to many fragments, I was just too lazy and this day did not have an auspicious start...

Who cares about the Thalaron weapon (well I do but it's not like I will start Pulsewaving every dev I see if I don't get it)
The Scimitar is the meanest looking ship in the history of mean-looking ships so I want it (Donatra's Scimitar would look good but I doubt there will be a skin for it)

And I hope there will be a kitty race for green side but if there isn't I'm okay with Reman too (wonder what a Reman woman would look like, probably something super ugly/badass)

Believe me, Scimitar will have the thalaron weapon! I bet 5 mil EC on it :P! And if it didn't, the devs know they would never hear the end of it!

Besides, the thing takes forever to fire, and considering the damage multiplier that NPC's get, our version of it would likely at best drop nothing more than the facing shields of an escort who's pilot decides to take a tea break in front of a player scimitar.

PVP, it will be a useless weapon I guarantee, so no need to worry about a nerf there, PVE it might serve to drop facing shields of a wave of KASE probes or CSE bops, that's about my predictions of how this weapon will perform at best. Still, it'll be a pleasure to hear that charge-up and see that magnificent burst!

As for Remans, I don't think they will get females, would probably be a big fat no from CBS on that, same as they did with nausicaans and gorn etc. Unless they existed on the screen, we won't get them. Although as much as I'd wish for a kitty species, I'll probably start out with a Reman as my choice, I think they are still a fairly unique and interesting species! Especially their psi abilities, I wonder how they will work as player characters.

reman females have already been mentioned several times in STO, compared to no mention whatsoever of gorn, nausicaan, or lethean women, so i'd say we have a good shot

Oh yes, the Dreadnought. Yet another ship that cannot turn, so has no real usefulness for those cannons ().

As for the Vesta, how well would a Science ship work for a Tactical? And does it give any advantages that compensate for forcing me into a Phaser build?

What I mean by forcing is that the Vesta comes with Phaser Cannons that operate on Auxiliary power.
I completed a 2-man CSE, ISE, and KASE, Optionals included. And I soloed Winter Invasion.

yeah, what's your point? they're not attached to the ship; you can take them off and put other weapons on
Like special weapons from other Star Trek games? Wondering if they can be replicated in STO even a little bit? Check this out: https://forum.arcgames.com/startrekonline/discussion/1262277/a-mostly-comprehensive-guide-to-star-trek-videogame-special-weapons-and-their-sto-equivalents

    #LegalizeAwoo

A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"

The Vesta set does have that Quantum shield that acts like the Kar'Fi Phase Shift in that it make you immune to all damage, but unlike the Phase Shift, you cannot fire your weapons. which may be a hindrance.

R'Mel is Tac and the Odyssey is an amazing ship for a Tac.

Also, in other news, I shall be bum-rushing T5 Omega thanks to Izzy. Then after I get about another 3 mil(somehow) I shall bum-rush T5 Rommy.

So far, the Multi-Vector, then one Module to get the Fleet Version has the most votes. Thoughts?

Go MVAM. You do have the Zen for it.

However for my Mirror Prommy I use the following:

    Saucer: Cerberus
    Hull: Prometheus
    Lower Nacelles: Prometheus
    Upper Nacelles: Prometheus
    Lower Hull: Cerberus
    Lower Pylons: Prometheus
    Upper Pylons: Phoenix

And, I have to say, It looks mean.
