There's video's on youtube showing it. I have screenshots and no doubt players have posted on their own fleets website about it. I can't see them deleting all that. Well done for trying Cryptic but the secrets out. Oh also we know there's an early version of the Vesta leaked too.
God Forbid if anything KDF got leaked!
Oh wait they would have to work on something KDF in order for it to get leaked... Silly me
so much trouble because a ship that doesnt even look like federation..
what about finally developing a ship from star trek again? like the hyrogen, maquis, kazon,...
It looks like a fed ship. It's canon. I'm sorry but the Federation ended to produce something else than 23rd century connies, which isn't a bad thing since the connie is the ulgiest Trek ship ever. Anyway, it looks amazing, especially the KDF one.
There are two possibilities: it's a c-store ship, or it's related to the season 7 storyline.

I'm hoping its for storyline... I'd hate to see a ship way before its time added in as a money making play ruining the integrity of the game just for that fact. Although if its for the storyline that it zips in and out that would be good. Would be funny though if this is a play on the Fed/KDF war is an attempt at someone trying to change time as well as some other plots LOL.
As for future KDF ships besides the non-Klingon species designed ships we should be seeing at T5 that we dont have yet as far as escorts... I wouldn't mind it if they came out with some up to date refits like they did with the sovy for the Klingon Designs... Even when they said the KDF would result to playing with time if the KDF had a negh'var with a temporal drive for the act of temporal shielding and such heh
Meh it might also be the first version of a design you could see for centuries after that. No one said it could be a ship from the future. It can be a 25th century design someone refitted later. I'm not opposed to that.
As there are two versions of this ship I am thinking that this is the 1000 veteran reward, it was mentioned that this reward would be the same for both factions.

You're telling me. I would pay money to NOT have it in the game. Damn you Geko, I know you're responsible for this... There is literally no good reason for it to be in game. As a player ship? Are you kidding? Canonically, one of those could easily overpower an Odyssey or a Bortas at the same time! Cause, you know, from the [Redacted]?! Not only that, but [Spoilers] being the bureaucratic sods they are, they would never allow 24th century captains to use such a thing! For damn good reason too!
And as for the season seven idea? I do hope not! I am so sick of bloody [Redacted]! No more [Redacted]! I'm tired of it! The Enterprise D got destroyed like six times! But it was saved! How? Sodding [Redacted] that's how! Voyager did it every other episode! Taking a shot every 10 minutes a character spends [Redacted] while marathoning Voyager, is a drinking game no one has ever won!
[Redacted] has lost all meaning, it's lost all tension, from a story standpoint [Redacted] is nothing but a lazy Science Fiction writing tool that is so danged easy to use, and is nothing but a massive cop-out.
Besides, if I want [Redacted] I will watch Doctor Who, and get plenty of freaking [Redacted]. I'M IN A SPACE SHIP. I WANT TO SEE SPACEY THINGS! I want Aliens! And planets! And Alien Planets! In space!
If I want to see the roman empire in a movie/tv series, I will watch Ben Hur! Keep your past OUT of my future!

Nope it can't be that, it's supposed to be a different version of an existing ship, not a unique ship.

Now I REALLY like to know if you have selfcensored yourself or not
My guess would be that it's on the list of possibilities anywhere a map calls for a random Federation starship, hence thus far we've seen it in the Expanse, Second Star to the Right, Skirmish and Second Wave.
then maybe qa and the devs should do a better job rather than taking out your anger on the players go take it out on qa and the devs !
The time ships are everywhere in game, in fleet acitons where its the feds, in various kdf missions. You expect people to not post an image ? get a grip man or release a patch but stop whining
Quoted for truth...
The better response would have been for "the dev/mod in question" to never have owned up to deleting the relevant posts in the first place. Apparently PWE/Cryptic has never heard of plausible deniability. "Oh your post got deleted? Hmm...it must be a bug in the crappy new forum software we're using. Sorry!" Instead we get a ham-fisted response where the dev team tries to cover their posteriors.
It's out guys. You can't un-ring a bell. Roll with the punches instead of being a brick wall. To me, it's painfully obvious that the PR team is right on par with the QA team. Hire that guy who had the "Federation News Release" and you'll be in better shape than you are now.

That seems to be correct. Nice vid by the way. ^^ Also happy to see more of Clingin' On.
Anybody who might uses the NPC Group "Federation squadron - Cruiser 01 (or 02)" currently in the Foundry, can see [Redacted] eventually. Actually sooner than later, if you use an empty map with the spawn in front of the group and hit repeatedly "Reset Map" during the Foundry Playtest.
So my guess is, that [Redacted] actually is showing up in A LOT of Foundry missions as well. :P
Pure speculation, but this could be a deliberate move on the part of the devs. Drop in something to tease future content, don't tell anyone its there, and actively redact any mention of it when its discussed.
You see what its doing, the mysterious nature of this event and the secretive actions of the devs only made us more interested, more eager to see what's coming, this thread being the prime example. Genius move.
I just checked out a video of the [redacted] in-game on youtube. Better schedule that dev diary and tell how many thousands of zen it will cost.
Formerly known as Khannnnn "Spock, this 'child' is about to wipe out every living thing on Earth. Now, what do you suggest we do? Spank it?" -Commander Leonard 'Bones' McCoy, M.D.
That CAN'T happen, "That Which Should Not Be Visible" is from a different time and violates the Fed prime directive by appearing 500 years early.
I can understand the mistake in the games spawn data, but the coverup is just plain silly.
indeed. it really is unacceptable that [Redacted] from the [Redacted] century is in game at all. it would only be ok if it was in a new time travel based mission and you interact with it there. it is NOT ok for it to be a common npc, it is NOT ok for it to be player flyable EVER. the age difference between [Redacted] and say a galaxy class is greater then the age difference between zefram cochrane's warp ship and a galaxy class. 1 [Redacted] hanging out in the early 25th century should be able to solo the dominion and collective at the same time.
if someone at cbs allowed for anything more then a cameo appearance in a mission, that person needs to be fraud marched out of his position as star trek IP care taker. [Redacted] being in game is full george lucas TRIBBLE.
Oh wait they would have to work on something KDF in order for it to get leaked... Silly me
Actually, they did. There were two Fed and one KDF things leaked in various ways in this patch. Only one of them is getting attention, but the other two are just as notable.
Considering it's been a topic of discussion for weeks, the second Fed leak might even be safe to talk about, but I'm not taking the risk.

the ship appeared in voyager. how much more 'star trek' can it get.
maybe no one has found it yet.
that was nothing. the d'deridex version used in the vault got leaked and it was pretty powerful in normal gameplay but the model was the same.

Haha as far as I'm aware this is all his own doing (all mods would leave notes if they'd editted the post!)
Hard to tell is it not? :P

As if we didn't have enough [Redacted] based missions already. <Le sigh>

It is named after someone involved in the field it relates too.
now im aware of 3 leaks, but theirs a 4th?
