    Hello,

We have tier 3 shipyards on both KDF and Fed. We usually bump people up to access to fleet items within a week or so. You can get the lowdown on our website. Just click the link in my signature.

A KDF analogue to the Andorian escort sounds nice, but I have been enjoying learning the Fleet Norgh Bird Of Prey so much more than I am enjoying the Andorian ship, I am not in a big hurry.

Our KDF fleet may be smaller but we are filled with strong and dedicated players. This is how we we have worked our way up to the point of hovering on the edge of having our Tier 4 shipyard and access to those Tier 4 fleet ships.

We are a casual bunch that play with REAL honor while working together as friends in a casual and respectful atmosphere.

If you are like minded and in need of a home, check us out at http://alliancecencom.com where you will find information on both our KDF and FED fleets both ... allied strongly with one another.

If you are a future Romulan player looking for a home ... You will be welcomed among us as well.

If you are a small fleet that has been struggling and are only at Tier 1 but want more ... If you just want to play together in a respectful environment ... We'd welcome you as a squadron within our fleet where you can continue to do so but help our community starbase and resources grow as well as sharing in the benefits it has to offer.

Regardless ... Fight well and we wish you much success!!!

Just a heads-up that we are putting in some plans for some fleet operations, gatherings and things to do.

Among them is a massive run at the Battle of Hell's Keep and the KDF equiv.

What are some other things YOU would like to see? ... Anyone know of some awesome Foundry missions that would make for great team play???? ... Any fleet actions you are dying to do as a team???

"What do you think of the rumors that the Iconians might be returning?" asked Jarmon Sollace.

Gen. Hauk leaned back in the chair. He cast an eye at the design engineer who now served as president and CEO of Qur'Dra Spaceframe Industries.

Life long friends, they sat together at a table outside of a makeshift eating and drinking establishment on New Romulus.

"We've both heard those same rumors and seen a few things," said Hauk, "but if I had not seen those recordings down in the underground ruins for myself ..."

He sighed a moment and took a sip of his ale before continuing.

"The last thing we all need is yet another enemy hounding us all and knowing our luck ... that's exactly what we'll get."

"Aye, another enemy to fight and harass us while the powers that be still wage war against each other," Jarmon added.

"The Empire and Federation both are fools to not see the real threats around them."

"Stubborn more like," responded Jarmon. "And as foolish as wee babes lost in the forest. Tell me, is the chancellor any close to seeing reason?"

"No closer than those admirals over at Starfleet command. We are just lucky that at least they agreed to the Task Force Omega initiative and opened the door to the creation of the Alliance."

The native Scotsman took a sip of his own Romulan brew before responding.

"Aye, that it did. Meh sons both claim that life fer them is good with both thankful to be fighting with the Klingons instead of uselessly against them."

"My own son, Tlhoreon, still finds it to a bit strange that he is able to beam aboard Earth Space Dock even though technically the Klingon Empire remains at war with the Federation ... thankful to be fighting the real enemies out there but thankful none the less."

Jarmon kicked back his own chair, leaning enough that it rested simply on its aft legs.

"I see the lass we've been waitin' fer now." He motioned towards the establishment's entrance with his mug.

Aelis S'tariennye lh'Rheu approached the table with a grace that reflected her years, wisdom ... and inner strength.

Hauk eyed the Romulan admiral's approach with a half cocked smile.

Here was a lady who had bested his father on the field of battle.

Hauk held no ill will for the death as it had been one born from combat -- a death worthy of entrance into Sto'Vo'Kor.

Here also was a woman who Hauk himself had tangled with in more ways that one and ...

"So Hauk, how our daughter, Arrhae, these days?" asked Aelis. "I hope she continues to serve your noble house well and brings honor to both our families."

    <<last time>>

Aelis S'tariennye lh'Rheu approached the table with a grace that reflected her years, wisdom ? and inner strength.

Hauk eyed the Romulan admiral's approach with a half cocked smile.

Here was a lady who had bested his father on the field of battle. Hauk held no ill will for the death as it had been one born from combat ? a death worthy of entrance into Sto'Vo'Kor.

Here also was a woman who Hauk himself had tangled with in more ways that one and whose ?

"So Hauk, how our daughter, Arrhae, these days?" asked Aelis. "I hope she continues to serve your noble house well and brings honor to both our families."

    <<and now>>

    Jarmon Sollace spewed his ale.

    "Daughter?" he sputtered.

Hauk offered up a knowing grin as those who knew him also knew how dedicated he was to his wife, Sal.

"Arrhae's father died while she was still young," the Klingon explained. "I adopted her formally into my family's house ... with her mother's permission, of course."

Aelis took a chair between the two.

"I admit it took some convincing," she said. "After all, my daughter wanting to join a Klingon house ... even one as noble as the House of Rha???"

The Romulan Admiral signaled to the waiter the universal sign that ...regardless of culture ... meant 'I'll have what they're having.'

She turned back to the others, smiling thinly.

"If this were even a few decades ago, it never would have happened, but we live in different times."

Aelis accepted the mug offered by the server and offered up a quick word of thanks before continuing.

"Besides, I like the General, here ... even if he is a touch too formal at times."

"Formal?" Jarmon laughed briefly. "Yee have nah seen him when he's been deep in the bloodshine, have yee?"

    "Bloodshine?" asked Aelis.

"t's a concoction my crew developed that is a blend of a Terran alcohol called moonshine and Klingon Bloodwine," explained Hauk. "It is ... a strong beverage."

Jarmon laughed again. "Ask his Ferasan first officer aboard the I.K.S. Qu'In 'an bortaS to send yee the holo-recordings of his ... shall we say ... performance."

One of the Romulan's eyebrows arched skyward. "Performance? ... Was he singing on tables again?"

"Let us say that it was a rather interesting rendition of Shakespeare," Jarmon said with a grin.

Hauk coughed, worked to quickly change the subject.

"Shall we get down to business?" he asked Aelis.

    Respectfully,

    Continuing to advance the storyline.

And for those curious, the bloodshine and Hauk's performance of Shakespeare refer to the Gates of Sto'Vo'Kor episode ? ?Hamlet and Bloodshine.?

"Shall we get down to business?" he asked Aelis.

    <<and now>>

    "We shall," answered Aelis.

She cupped her fingers around her mug.

"So, you propose that the Romulan Republic participate in this Alliance of yours?" she asked, already knowing the answer.

But it was a place to begin and all things needed a beginning.

"Its an alternative," Hauk said simply.

"An alternative?" responded the Romulan admiral. "An alternative to what?"

"An alternative to being recruited by the forces of either the Federation or Klingons and then fighting at their side as they fight one another," Hauk answered.

"Another alternative might be to sit out their war, not take sides in their conflict and simply keep our attention focused on stabilizing the Romulan Republic," Aelis countered.

"You're problem with that lass is that there are already signs that Romulan captains are already planning to split loyalties and flock to either of those two banners ... and help them fight their petty war," noted Jarmon.

The Scotsman punctuated the last of his statement by raising his mug as if in toast to the truth of his words.

"Fools ... and I mean all those who actively participate in this honorless war between the Federation and Klingons," scoffed Hauk. "The time is now to stand against the common threats or risk being crushed beneath the boot heels of enemies."

The Romulan admiral crossed her arms, eyes Hauk.

"And so what are you proposing, General?" she asked. "Tell me exactly how I or others from the Romulan republic factor into this alliance of yours? ... Or will we simply trade one boot heel for another?"

If there is one thing that I and others love about the game, its that we can play characters that until now have only existed in our imaginations and written stories.

What few do not know is that the central core group that start Alliance Central Command can trace our origins back to a group that has been around for over 20 years ... alt-starfleet-rpg.

From their website ... "Welcome to ASR, or simply "STAR FLEET"- a PBEM interactive role-play game made up around 100 writers spread across 18 units assigned to one of three distinct timelines. The ASR universe- the PRIME universe, as we call it- was created in 1991, and is set in a time period around 40 years after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis, in the Earth calendar year 2424."

Their stories all exist in a shared fictional universe where the player who writes the story weaves their stories into the overall fabric of the whole thing.

Now, we split off from them and created a group much like them called Star Trek: Frontiers which continued writing for several years under that umbrella ... and then came Star Trek Online.

For those like me, it was a chance to take the characters we have been writing for 20 years and reboot them into an "alterate" universe, not unlike what JJ did.

You see, 2409 was a time when for many of us ... our characters existed and advanced forward from. So we rewound them and began again with our stories still working together in a shared universe.

Yes, not all our players write ... but some of us do with no regrets.

We created Alliance Central Command to exist as casual fleet where players co-exist and play the game respectfully side by side.

Some of us are solo players. Others like to group up and enjoy team play. Then we have a few who are into radio drama and podcasting with others of us loving to write.

What connects us all is that we enjoy the Star Trek Online universe and enjoy existing within it together.

    A message to Romulans ...

Do not feel that you have to side with either the Federation or the Klingons directly in their armed conflict with one another.

After all ... Our true enemies are out there among the stars in the form of somethings as the Borg, Undine, Tholians and yes ... even the Iconians.

To continue to fight a petty war between the Federation and Klingon Empire is ... there are no words to do it justice.

The Alliance Central Command opens its doors to the Romulans of the Romulan Republic who wish to join us in this fight. We have starbases on both the Federation and Klingon sides of the neutral zone where you can choose to quarter your ship and crew during the storms of a chaotic universe.

All you have to do is to let us know of your interest in doing so.

We are the Alliance Central Command. ... We stand together and fight with honor!

The Romulan admiral crossed her arms, eyes Hauk.

"And so what are you proposing, General?" she asked. "Tell me exactly how I or others from the Romulan republic factor into this alliance of yours? ... Or will we simply trade one boot heel for another?"

    <<and now>>

"You would enter the Alliance as equals," Hauk stated simply. "And ... You would be protecting your people in the process."

"How can your people ... or any actually ... stand safe when there are so many REAL enemies out there?" he asked, continuing. "The Borg, the Undine, the True Way, the Tholians, the Tal Shiar ... and you know as well as I do that the Iconians may just be on the horizon. Tell me how will we survive these foes nipping at us from so many directions if we do not stand together?"

Aelis leaned back in her chair and cupped the mug containing her ale.

"What makes you think the powers will allow this Alliance of yours to continue operations," she asked, "shall we say ... uninterrupted?"

    "Treaty," Hauk answered.

"Treaties can be broken," she returned quickly.

"Yes, but the fact that we are concentrated in and around the Cordra Expanse gives us a measure insulation and protection," Hauk returned.

"Admiral, isn't it true that yee Romulans have a few of your own colony worlds tucked away inside that Expanse?" Jarmon asked.

"We do," Aelis confirmed. "In fact, I was born on one of those worlds as was my daughter."

"Then you are definitely aware that those worlds were rather quick to sign the Cordra Accords designating the Expanse as neutral territory, paving a safe haven for our Alliance then?" asked Hauk.

"Yes," the Romulan responded, "and I'm not arguing that. ... What I want to know is what exactly will those forces who may or may not join you from our side get from this arrangement? How will we be treated? What status will we hold? .. Why should we even consider it?"

I.K.S. jev mI'wI': "Now Arriving ... Day of Honor"

    by Mike Tripp

    jev-MD: 01.1638
Scene: Main Bridge, I.K.S. jev mI'wI'

Rha sat in the hard comfort of the centerseat, eyed the growing sphere on the large view screen.

QonoS, homeworld of the Klingon people and jewel of the Empire, grew larger on the display.

The elder Klingon warrior always relished this moment as it generally marked successful raids and battles ending in a triumphant return home.

Well home as in home of the Empire as the real homeworld for the House of Rha was Qah'tra III.

When his eyes drifted from the main viewer, they crossed each member of his senior staff as they manned their various stations all across the bridge.

A ragtag bunch of warriors, many were liberated Borg much like Rha himself. The others were equally ? how would the humans put it? ... outcasts and misfits.

However, this crew had just proven themselves on the field of battle in fighting back rebel Gorn attacking on the starbases belonging to the boq botlhra'ghom ... or in the human tongue ... Alliance Central Command.

The battle proved a worthy shakedown cruise for the I.K.S. jev mI'wI', aka. Storm Dancer, proving the heart of the Peghqu'-class heavy destroyer to be strong and true.

"General, we are receiving an open transmission from the I.K.S. bortaSqu' to all ships in the area," spoke the ships Andorian android bridge officer, Lildra. "They wish all a happy Honor Day and offer an open invitation to tour the Klingon flagship and meet the ship's senior staff."

"Is it Honor Day already?" Rha drummed his fingers on the arm of his chair, surprised but not surprised that he had forgotten what day it was.

"Send a response telling them that the crew of the jev mI'wI' will gladly take them up on their offer," he finally continued. "Helm, alter course to the location of the flagship."

The seasoned Klingon ship's captain then jabbed a control on the chair's arm.

"Rha to all hands," he said. "Glorious Honor Day to you all! ... For those interested, we have been granted the chance to board and tour the Klingon flagship and meet her crew upon docking."

    <<to be continued>>

    Respectfully,

    --- Lt. Gen. Rha
    CO, I.K.S. jev mI'wI'
    boq botlhra'ghom (Alliance Central Command)

    OCC

Currently beginning a Klingon story arc for another of my characters and figure the current Honor Day celebration is a good place to begin.

Our KDF fleet sent the Tier IV shipyard project to the ten day timer last night, less than two hours after the project was able to be slotted.

Another victory for the Alliance! ... Qapla' !!!!
