At the same time, it could be argued that all Federation scanners would have seen was a subspace rift opening from a ship which was about to fire a subspace weapon itself... Although Republic Epsilon weapons are quite distinct.*

Kudar: Well, tell the Founders this: the Vaadwaur are allied to Malick. Malick is organising a united front between the UNSC, Vaadwaur, Tzenkethi and Karee. Before long, he may even control the Breen Confederacy. If he wins this war, which is a distinct possibility, he will control the Bajoran Wormhole and a large chunk of Republic space near the Dominion. He will have a military capacity which you haven't witnessed since the Eblisi invaded. Then, he's going to come after you.
