Now Fleet Admiral Ross is still using the USS Dogos Gear A, a new Federation cruiser that dwarfs the Odyssey. Dorman is now his first officer and has married now Lt. Commander Fisher. Newtypes have come a long way to being accepted by the populace and by the now unified quadrant. But things are far from finished as New types in starfleet and other government bodies are still having a hard time moving up in the world and still feature discrimination.*

Ross: I wish to thank everyone here for giving me the opportunity to speak to all of you today at this auspicious event. These officers have gone above and beyond the call and their duty more than once to save all of us. I have grown up hearing stories of all of their accomplishments and legends. My friend being added to this project is both an honor and a sad reminder of a friend we have all lost. Given the state of the quadrant I would say my fallen friend would be happy with the ground gained by the quadrant after the Shock. But let me be frank, it is still a ways to go. There will always be a tough road ahead to change things. Change is never easy. Never will be but things are and will always be fine as long as we stay true to ourselves. They have found something quite interesting. The ones forced into changing are stable and that there are more like Dorman popping up every year. It seems prolonged contact with zero gee and space itself is pushing this along as well. Its like the beast of possibility has been unleashed and its now anyone's ball game now.

Rommel stands on the bridge of his ship silently looking over reports. he is conerned about recent reports of the undine. he sits alone on the bridge again testing to make sure he cant hear the borg again. it has been silent for years. and once again he cant hear anything. he knows he shouldnt but he doesnt want to underestimate the borg. he taps a few controls and heads for undine space. if something is going on there he wants to know. as he prepares to go to warp a console beeps of a incoming hail and he sees it is a federation cruiser ordering his surrender.

As rommels ship travels to undine it os quite. To quite even for a race that hasnt been heard from in some time. He acticvates the ships cloak and heads in. Hoping no one will detect him.

*Captain Shelana over the last couple of years has grown accustomed to the seat left by Allen, her feelings on Newtypes how ever is mixed still. She does watch Ross' rise to prominance but also what it is costing him. The loss of Twimelek at the Khitomer Accords left a lot of holes on the ship, Her new security chief a klingon friend added to her crew. Though the new first officer she had still isn't all that knowledgeable with this crew. The replacement for Kara was a nice addition. Though things still felt empty without the others. Kara off on some unknown planet, Allen dead, Twimelek dead... it was jarring for the crew. Though they all know that they have a duty to do.*

Ross: The ceremony went well... Being an advocate and leader for Newtypes really wears on all of us. The Federation has given some ground for accepting newtypes but the memory of Northman is still present but so is the one of Allen. Admiral Val is currently building a vessel with new technology pioneered on the USS Odyssey, the ones in Allen's personal logs, tech that uses newtype's brain waves for helm control, Northman's technology, and some strange frame made from some new metal recently discovered.
There are a few hate crimes on Newtypes on Earth and abroad. Shelana hasn't come by in at least 3 years... I think she is still on the fence about newtypes. My sister is helping develop joint Klingon and Federation colonies in the former neutral zone. But aside from that... its the Undine... Im sure he is alright he is quite a capable officer. Ross i do have a reason i came. There have been reports from my agents that the undine have kidnapped newtypes and are trying to use them. I havent been able to confirm it yet but i thought you should know. I cant stay here long because security will find me sooner or later and i dont want to cause you problems. Here is all the data i have on the undine activity and a list of newtypes you may not know about. Stay in contact admiral there is a long road ahead.

*Ross is looking over the datapads given to him by Rommel. He is troubled to say the least. It has never been thought of to compare the Undine and Newtype powers to see if there could be a problem. Especially given that the Undine retreated back into their realm almost 6 years ago...*
Ross: What are they up to...
*Ross given the passage of time has aged somewhat because of the stresses of being a spokesperson of the newtypes and an advocate of their rights. His hair instead of being a dark brown is now littered wit grey streaks. He always felt that he was doing someone else's job. He again looks at the picture on his desk of his academy friends*
Ross: Allen this was your job and dream... you would have made a better advocate and leader than I ever could have...
*he sits back down and sips his tea... pondering about what to do next. He feels his protege Dorman enter the ready room*
Ross: Yes Commander?
Dorman: You seem troubled sir..
Ross: There have been reports of Undine activity and given the amount of time it has been since their disappearance it is not a good sign.... *he changes the subject*
How is your wife doing?
Dorman: She is fine sir. She keeps telling me to keep my head low and nose clean.
Ross: Given the circumstances over the last few years, I would agree. We have lost some good friends...
Dorman: Dexter?
Ross: Yes... that incident was quite terrible and I think it still weighs on the crew a bit. Plus I have become something of a figure to the newtypes..
Dorman: Given the circumstances sir there was no other choice. How is Shelana?
Ross: Last I heard the Captain was patroling the Khazon Cluster. The USS Odyssey even had a measurable amount of updates.
Dorman: I see you dodged the question sir..
Ross: mm. I don't like talking about it not right now anyway.
Dorman: I see. Sir Starfleet wants you to be there to christen the new vessel added to the fleet.
Ross: The USS Allen? I wonder why they don't ask Admiral Val or Admiral Bat'rak.
Dorman: I can guess they want you to do it. I know Admiral Val is on Alpha Centuri heading R & D. So my guess is he can't be taken away from his work. Admiral Bat'rak is away on a family affair, I think his house is going to be restored to its proper place and he has to delegate who runs the house since he cannot.
Ross: Plus my sister is off running around the former neutral zone delivering colonial materials for actual joint Klingon and Starfleet ventures.
Dorman: Do you have a set of orders sir?
Ross: Set a course for Deep Space 61 warp factor 5. I need to speak with Allington.
Starfleet capt: Matthew Rommel you are ordered to stand down and prepare to be boarded.
Rommel: over my dead body.
the cruiser begins firing on rommels ship.
rommel types in a command and fires one of the ships emp torpedoes disabling the federation cruiser. after rommels ship warps toward undine space.
Ross: Hail Deep Space 61, USS Dogos Gear A is requesting to dock, inform them I am requesting Captain Allington.
*Captain Shelana over the last couple of years has grown accustomed to the seat left by Allen, her feelings on Newtypes how ever is mixed still. She does watch Ross' rise to prominance but also what it is costing him. The loss of Twimelek at the Khitomer Accords left a lot of holes on the ship, Her new security chief a klingon friend added to her crew. Though the new first officer she had still isn't all that knowledgeable with this crew. The replacement for Kara was a nice addition. Though things still felt empty without the others. Kara off on some unknown planet, Allen dead, Twimelek dead... it was jarring for the crew. Though they all know that they have a duty to do.*
Kimber: Mam scans of the nebula are complete.
Shelana: Well commander?
Kimber: It is a typical nebula, with nothing remarkable about it.
Fox: There are certain ones that we can use for a few experiments.
Shelana: Then pick up the gasses, and lets continue on.
Susan: well we are now in undine space and im not reading any undine ships at all.
Matthew: well this is odd. We should have seen something by now.
Rommel: report
Susan: unknow sensors just went offline along with weapons shields and angines.
Rommel : damn grab your weapons and lets get ready.
In moments they are both in gear and armend as main power fails in the enitre ship.
*A Vague sillhoute is visable, it resembles a cruiser but smaller than the ones that have been rolled out in recent years.*
Admiral Val: What is the completion percentage on this vessel?
Tech: It is about seventy-five percent complete.
Admiral Val: We are a little bit behind schedule, speed up work on the helm control and the weapon systems.
Tech: But sir this is all experimental technology, the technology we have invested into this vessel are totally unknown and are wreaking havoc on our technology!
Val: I will be assisting with the lab to have them supply the appropriate tools for the work. Is the system ready for activation?
Tech: Yes, we finished installing it the other day and touched up its systems.
Val: Good. We need to finish this vessel as fast as we can, but without safety for the crew of the vessel.
Rommel: damn those where new types.
Susan: yes but they where being controlled by another i could telepathically since another sgronger presence there.
Rommel: well it looks like we where right about the undine then. But what would they want with the new types. And are there undine new types.
Susan: i dont know matthew i dont sense anyone near by. You ready.
Rommel raises his arm where a disrupter canon is attached to a borg implant. He fires and blows the door off.

Matt: A Bolian Freighter requesting Clearance to Dock ASAP. Apparently they're carrying perishable Medical Supplies for a Federation Colony on Tolass VI and require a Dilithium transfer.
Ryan: Did you tell them we're not a Galactic Filling Station?
Matt: Ryan.
Ryan: I was joking! Route them to the Shipyard and have the Station crew transfer over 20 Dilithium Crystals for standard fee.
Matt: Right. Sir, Dogos Gear is heading into Bay 11 now.
Ryan: You know where to find me. *Enters Turbolift*
Ryan: Bay 11.
*Docking Bay 11*

Ross: Ah, its quite alright Captain. There is much I need to speak with you about and it may not be good news, not all of it anyway. I am fine I had to speak at the opening ceremony to the garden of legends in San Fransisco. There hasn't been a conflict in 5 years and I think its fair to say there wasn't a scheduled visit but this is too important.
OOC: Oh course not. Like I mentioned before you can kill the Queen but she needs eradication before that death is permanent. Besides I like the borg.
Ryan: We can talk in my office. *Both walk into Turbolift, Ryan inserts his ID card* Ops. *Turbolift starts moving* So, how did the ceremony go? I wanted to attend but we had a small crisis here. Dockers Guild went on Strike after a Romulan Freighter crashed and one of their dockers was killed. Turns out the UFP contractors used sub-standard control chips when we went online. Unbelievable, huh?
Anyway, things here have been pretty quiet, except that. How are things back on Earth? We still get FNN out here but since the Deneb Scandal last year, I'd rather hear it from you. How are things going at home? How's you Sister doing? *Turbolift stops and the two walk across Ops into Ryan's Office.*

Matthew: susan sense anything.
susan: no i dont sense anyone near by

matthew walks over to a console and sends an encrypted message to ross.
matthew: ross my information was correct the undine are taking and using newtypes for there own purpose. i sending you my current location now. you need to make sure they dont take anymore people ross. ill try to tie up my end here as best as i can. be careful ross they took out my ship with a single shoot and we where cloaked and( you can here susan yell as she fires her disrupter) im sendng you all the info i can rommel out.
Rommel and susan head down a passage way as he detonates a grenade in a passage way. they both stop for a second to look around.
rommel: lets head for the ship.
Ross: The ceremony went well... Being an advocate and leader for Newtypes really wears on all of us. The Federation has given some ground for accepting newtypes but the memory of Northman is still present but so is the one of Allen. Admiral Val is currently building a vessel with new technology pioneered on the USS Odyssey, the ones in Allen's personal logs, tech that uses newtype's brain waves for helm control, Northman's technology, and some strange frame made from some new metal recently discovered.
There are a few hate crimes on Newtypes on Earth and abroad. Shelana hasn't come by in at least 3 years... I think she is still on the fence about newtypes. My sister is helping develop joint Klingon and Federation colonies in the former neutral zone. But aside from that... its the Undine... There have been kidnappings of Newtypes *slides the datapads over to Ryan*
Susan: there must be hundreds of them here.
matthew: well theres nothing we can do for them now.
they quickly leave the chamber and continue down the hall. they both dodge as a pair of undine walk by. they soon arrive at the ship being held in the hanger. they quickly dispatch the guards and transport on the ship and immidiately warp out.
susan: it wont take them long to find us. where are we going to go.
matthew: head for borg space it will give us some place to hide and i may be able to activate some of the defenses still.
Ross: It is too bad you never received a galaxy map terminal for the ops room it would be easier for me to show you. Also I believe your fleet is still operating with 5 year old technology... there is still fighting to be done but its more to protect the peace that we already have. The Undine still want to cleanse the galaxy of all life. But I sense that these are not coincidence but part of a plan.
