rommel and susan soon beam inot the borg structure in a concealed area. they silently make there way down a passage and hear talking. they both draw there weapons. as rommel looks around the corner he sees what he could never imagine he would see. there is an undine and borg communicating with each other as there are two new types in the undine special suits near them.

rommel: damn send an emergency signal to ross. we have a problem.

susan sends an emergency signal to ross.

susan: admiral ross this is emergency code 99871 alpha we are sending you visual of what we have seen so far. we will maintane position as long as we can.

Ross: That should be resolved pretty soon, Ja'rod was never really a friend to us and he lost House Torg's forces to a lot of things. That depends on a couple things, my contact is searching and scouting Borg and Undine space.

    *Val materializes in Ops*

Val: Excuse my tardiness, I was compiling the reports. *slides them in front of Captain Allington and Ross.* Our contact did indeed discover the newtypes that were taken and more disturbing news. They are being used as weapons.. Their vessels have gotten updated as well. We entered combat with three of them and we destroyed them. They did not wish to speak with us either... and attacked us straight away.

Ryan: That seems no different from what we already know. Undine often shoot first and ask questions never, but, if they're using New-Types, we may have a problem. Siraga's planning on meeting with the Undine and trying to arrange a cease-fire. Since the Undine only attacked because the Iconians antagonised them, that fact may get the Undine to calm down and talk to us. And, Admiral, do me a favour? Don't point your toy's guns at the station. I just had the paint polished.

Borg 2.0: Our objective is clear: Extermination of the Federation. We believe that is a goal we share?

Undine: There are those among us, who question the long-accepted belief that all humanoids are responsible for our suffering. We will not enter into action against this dimension's powers until we know more.

*A hologram of a feminine figure walks between the two, turning to address the Undine. It is clearly Jessica DeSalle, with less implants and more streamlined remaining implants*

DeSalle: Then you are of no use to us. You may depart now.

*The Undine nods to it's new-type companions who leave the complex. Before the Undine can contact his ship, however, the Borg opens fire, killing it in a fit of recognisable fury.*

DeSalle: It appears we have uninvited guests. Admiral Rommel, or, do you prefer the term "Renegade"? You may step forward. We will not threaten you. *Signals for the Drone to lower and disarm his weapon.* I believe you have many questions. By the way, how is Soval?

Val: Of course they are currently being checked up on. They are not even online.

Ross: He was being sarcastic Admiral.. And a bit serious. Considering how badly damaged this station was nearly 6 years ago. I can't blame him for being a little paranoid.

Besides I think he is right we need to be sure there is something else going on here.... There is something ominous in the air. Bring Soval here I wish to speak to him as well.

MV: Long time no see Admiral Rommel...

*As he walks out of the shadow in the pale green light and evil grin passes his face... It is Tomalk...*

DeSalle: Well, you eliminated the Borg Queen subroutine from the collective, I'm utilising Borg implants, the other Borg respond to me... Which part of this progression escapes you?

DeSalle: Tomalk. *Tomalk receives a crippling nervous shock, momentarily paralysing him* Let's not antagonise the "Admiral". He obviously came a long way to snoop around our home here.

why would you simply want to replace the borg queen. once you take her place you think the collective will just let you do what you want.

DeSalle: *Laughing* I'm not replacing the Queen! I'm giving the Borg their individuality back, as Tomalk and Sory have shown you.

    Borg 2.0 (Sory): My instructions?

DeSalle: Return to the ship. Tomalk will go with you. *Tomalk and Sory leave the chamber*

Now, what do you think of my little house?

you should know revenge will not make you feel better. look at what almost happened when picard wanted revenge against the borg he almost destroyed himself.
