*Jari instead opts to slam Karen into the ground or walls to hurt her*

*Karen locks an arm around her neck, trying to choke her out.*

OoC: Sorry been out most of the day.

As Coulson walks into his quarters

    Sinclaire: so it's bad

Coulson: you could say that. Could have been worse.

Sinclaire: still no sign of Terry though?

Coulson: no. That concerns me more. I don't think it is linked though.

    Sinclaire: no they aren't.

Coulson: is there something you want to tell me?

Sinclaire: nothing that I can yet. But events are starting to be moved into motion. I fear it won't be long now.

Aboard the carrier as it is in orbit of the colony. C.Rommel is in a cell heavily guarded as fury walks in.

Fury: i must say I'm impressed. You are something else. While your base DNA is human there is some stuff in there even I haven't seen before.

He sets the padd down taking a sear.

Fury: highly augmented. Incredible healing factor and cybernetics. So who do you work for or with?

C.Rommel: even if I did work for someone what makes you think I'd tell you.

Fury: oh I don't expect you to tell me. I figured I'd try to be nice before we jump to doing this the hard way.

    Fury gets up

Fury: we will start the fun process when I get back.

Fury walks out heading to the bridge. Once there hails coulson

Fury: so what's your take on the situation there.

    Coulson: bad

    OoC: Guess it was inevitable.

*Jari instead opts to slam Karen into the ground or walls to hurt her*

*Karen locks an arm around her neck, trying to choke her out.*

OoC: Sorry been out most of the day.

*Jari bashes her head against Karen's trying to get her to let go*

*Karen does let go and shoves Jari off to the side, getting to her feet.*

Karen: You wanna give up yet?

Jari: Never... *charge and slams into Karen*

*Karen grunts in pain before skidding to a halt and forcing Jari off before throwing a series of vicious punches at her.*

*Jari takes the punches and kicks Karen hard in the knee*

OoC: Wouldn't Karen's arm still be weak? I doubt the Orions would have treated it after the match or atleast would have done a bad job of it especially since it was broken.

OOC: Business mentality/pragmatism. Who's going to pay full-price for a damaged slave? She is still fairly battered, they just healed the worst of her injuries

*Karen grunts as she staggers slightly, before trying to kick Jari in the gut.*

You can have Susan intervene now if you want.

OoC: Even then they wouldnt exactly patch them up till closer to a market.

*Susan shoots Jari with the disruptor she dropped*

*Karen pants as she cradles her ribcage.*

    Karen *panting*: Thanks...

Susan: You shouldn't have gone after her.

    Karen: I know...

*Tara arrives, looking at the scene.*

    Tara: Everyone okay?

    Susan: Yeah we're fine. Mostly.

Tara: Good. Come on, we need to hurry.

    *Susan nods and follows Tara*

*Karen follows as well. Before long, everybody is back on the Elim, plus a few of the slaves who got the worst of the tricordrazine.*

Tara: Stuff Melani in the back and keep a phaser on her.

M Samana: Alright. *does so* You're lucky my daughter is still alive Milani.

*HK starts recharging while on the shuttle*

*Karen takes a seat in the aft compartment, Luke throwing a blanket around her.*

    Karen: Thanks Dad...

Luke: I've got to go back up front. Will you be okay back here?

    Karen: Yeah...

*Luke heads up front, the alert sounding.*

    Luke: What the...?

    Tara: What is it?

Luke: Their impulse reactor is overhea--! Oh God.

    Hold on!

*The Elim shudders as Luke breaks away from the hull abruptly and accelerates faster than the inertial dampeners can respond. Suddenly, the impulse engines on the Orion ship explode, sending it spiralling out of control. Karen comes up front, looking at it.*

    Jack: Was that us?

Luke: No, and the Ziyal never fired torpedoes. It was internal.

    Karen: Zoe...

Luke: They're losing life support. I give them an hour at most.

M Samana: There's no saving them. I assume there's only Orions left on it and they chose their fate when they became slavers.

In the cell only C.Rommel can see as Malick appears.

Malick: well now this is a fine mess you got into isn't here. Don't speak out loud use your mind.

    C.Rommel: what do you want.

Malick: what is mine. Genjure apoli winter humre and sleep.

C.Rommel freezes for a moment before he looks up with a cold deathly gaze

Malick: now get out and return to your home.

    C.Rommel: as you wish.

Before any of the guards can act he punches through the wall where the control is. Dropping the field and quickly moving to deal with the guards as the alarm sounds.

M Samana: They took our daughter to sell to monsters! If anything this isn't close enough to what they deserve.

Tara: You're forgetting something, Sam': slavery is so prevalent in Orion culture that some of the Orion crew may well be slaves.

Either way, I don't think I could live with the image of leaving them to suffocate when I could have done something about it.

Jack: Other than that, the Interstellar Law of Navigation requires us to respond to any ship in distress.

Even if that ship is crewed by the greatest scum in the universe...

Hail the Ziyal. They can carry more than we can.

*After a few hours, the survivors are aboard the Ziyal and the ship begins to head back to Pegasus Prime.

Brig. Karen walks in to chat with Jari, who's been brought from the cargo bay and put in a holding cell for the duration of the encounter.*

    Karen: How do you feel?
