When I look at this Cap, I can hear Sulu urgently yelling, "Shields! SHIELDS!!!" And for that reason I nearly posted this to the - Do you guys have an Amusing Moments Picture Thread? - thread. But it's just too awesome and there's nothing jokey about it beyond the silly tape that runs in my head.

I begin to wonder if people who have been here for a long time may have begun to forget just how much detail and beauty exist in this game. The 1000th time doing a mission cannot possibly be played without clicking through. Luckily it's all still seems fresh to me.
Also, I love coming to this thread and looking at the caps. It offers glimpse into my "Captain's" near future without spoiling what is to come for him.
This could have been a nice shot but I messed it up. The camera was not in the final position and when I tried to use /renderscale 3, one of the two fans on my graphics card moved on to Sto'Vo'Kor and the client crashed, the pc crashed and the opportunity was gone. Bothers me quite a bit, hehe.
Saw this couple on Ganalda Space Station. Reminded me somehow of Xena and her friend Gabrielle.
Elachi Space Station - Station Alpha from the Devil's Choice.

This looks straight out of COD. I like it.
Your father was captain of a starship for twelve minutes. He saved 800 lives, including your mother's, and yours.
"...'With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured...the first thought forbidden...the first freedom denied--chains us all irrevocably.' ... The first time any man's freedom is trodden on, we're all damaged. I fear that today--"

I don't know why, mcakomx, but for some reason that last screenshot makes me think of "Tremors"...
"If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to go back home and crawl under your bed. It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross; but it's not for the timid." -- Q, TNG: "Q-Who?"
^Words that every player should keep in mind, especially whenever there's a problem with the game...
In one of those rare moments, my team moved in formation as we ran toward the Iconian Gate. I noticed it and tapped that key just before the cut away.

Next time one of your Captains ends up on that Mission, try this music during the battle. See if you can put it on a loop or something. I had fun the last time I went through Coliseum listening to it. The really neat part was when each combat ended exactly on queue with the music. :: shrugs :: It was pure luck and magic.

which mission are you talking about? if it's coliseum, that music you linked is already there during the arena battles
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.

You had a great idea by starting that thread and I'll post something there as soon as I have something amusing that is not made up, like the poster.
And like shadowfang already said, the music in Coliseum is the same as in "Amok Time" from TOS.
It has begun. Let no one interfere! That's proper Star Trek, right there

Epic screenshot? Epically pedestrian, maybe?
Exactly :P
Great shots of that new escort. Thank you!

I dare you to do better.

Is that what I think it is?
When did THAT get fixed?!
Gotta dust off my destroyers now.:D

I do not know what to say, except for one thing. If you liked Tremors, then you have a good taste in movies

Just for fun and a laugh at my expense. Does it belong here? Maybe not. But it's a montage of *cough* Epic shots, hehe.
Awesome.

It is? I'll have to put the game music back on next time I go there.
I have no idea why I don't see more Haakona Advanced Warbirds in STFs, but I'll love mine forever. Such a fun ship to command.
Both vectors are parked next to a Tier 4 Klingon Fleet Starbase, for reference of scale.
Maybe this selection would be better.
