Exocomps... non-combat... like my Targ, or Sehlaht cub, or the first Horta...? Hrm... vanity items, like ship skins and costumes. Some people will like them, especially all those people that lobbied for having their support drones turned into exocomps.

I like to have useful things in my dvice slots, so if u want to waste one on a pet that does nothing, be my guest, just don't expect people to get all excited over something so lame, at least the horta can fight.

No device slot. All you need is it in your inventory and you can summon your robotic egg anytime.

They do not take a character Device Slot. You simply have to keep them in your Inventory.

Just don't get it too close to the warp core.
Check your on demand settings. patch was around 1.5gig for me.
