Most of them are canon ships. And dude, seriously. We know you want that variant of the Sovereign. You've posted it half a dozen times in this thread alone.
So, im not the only that keeps reposting things they already mentioned and I doubt I'll be the last. Also I forgot to mention the argo and dauntless.
Before, it used to be like all the other deflectors: blue and bright
I think the blue deflector still looks really good and sometimes it fits you custom ship better than the yellow. I think the option to choose the old deflector would be great. That is my request.
I kinda want the Freedom class in game... sort of. The Freedom itself is kinda ugly; but I like the 1 nacelle concept. If we got the standard 'Cryptic's own' variants to go with it, they would do me.

How about a Federation Carrier where a player can launch a squad of fighters as an ability?
The new JJ Abrams' Enterprise. I know people will ask, how does that ship fit into the Prime cannon?
Simple, say it was a rejected design that was too big and power than what it was needed at the time, that's why Starfleet chose the Constitution Class enterprise rather than the Abrams Enterprise.
but I would still love to see the NX-01 refit as it is an excellent design and natural progression... to bad we can't have a mission to go back in time and see it in action. XD
How about the Dauntless Class (I know it technically isn't a startfleet vessel but that didn't stop it from appearing in an alternate future reality in Enterprise) Dauntless class model
An option that allows you to go back and use an old hull but with the upgraded console / bridge officers, it's just that I love my Olympic class ship and I don't really want to upgrade it to the next hull, but to stay competitive I have to. Would also have more variation in fleets (like the series) and some Klingon players must prefer a BOP over a warship, a c store option would be good I wouldn't mind payiing for it nor would other people (I think most would enjoy this option)
I really liked the design of the void aliens ships in Voyager episode "Night". Think these would make a great addition as escorts or light cruisers - or even as NPC ships if they add more delta quadrant sectors.
also in keeping with the DS9 pack - an additional player fighter based on the Bajoran Interceptor design might be cool - obviously this was an impulse ship, but now the bajorans are federation members (and with time having moved on) I would imagine them having warp capable fighters in their local militia
I didn't see it suggested before, so I'll do it now.
These three ships are from the TOS novel "Dreadnought!" by Diane Carey.
The first is the MK-X Class 1 Federation-class dreadnought. The prototype of this class is the USS Star Empire, listed as MKC-2331 in the novel and NCC-2116 in the Star Fleet Technical Manual.
It has three warp nacelles (the third mounted on the saucer section) and has transwarp capabilities. The saucer section is hexagonal instead of round, and is 15 decks thick. The standard crew complement is 500, though it can be operated by less than 100 if necessary. It is stated to be have a deadweight tonnage 30% greater than the Constitution-class USS Enterprise NCC-1701. It has 5 dual-mount phaser banks, four photon torpedo launchers, and triple shielding. The outer hull is stated to be made of quantobirilium, a composite alloy capable of sustaining direct phaser fire for several seconds before losing its molecular cohesiveness. It is also equipped with a holographic image projection system to allow it to project the image of other vessels (even itself) to enemy ships. The optics for the image projection system are stated to be vulnerable and easily-damaged, however. It is stated as being a purely military ship, and it does not have any research laboratories, recreation decks, or a proper library computer (it has a mainframe computer, but not a library computer in the traditional sense.).
The next two are small attack craft, and not full-size starships.
First is the Arco Class Attack Sled. It has a crew complement of two, and is capable of Warp 0.95. Armament consists of two forward phasers and two side-mounted photon slings (small photon torpedo launchers). It has a service claw for external repairs in-flight, and twin side-mounted solar wings. The craft's shield capabilities are unspecified.
The second is the Tycho Class Light Intercept. It is a single-person fighter, with two forward phasers and a low-capacity rear grapple/tractor beam. It's capable of Warp 0.80. The craft's shield capabilities are unspecified.
In-novel, the Arco Class ships are carried in the shuttlebay of cruisers like the USS Enterprise. The smaller Tycho Class ships were carried in smaller ships - in this novel, the Saladin-class destroyer USS Pompeii.
in the new movie where nero is the bad guy, there is a federation ship that has two deflectors, on above the saucer and one below. you guys should really look in on this and put in the game. i am certain it exsists because i have it on a star trek glass from burger king
Welcome to the Canon Ship Wishlist 2.0 Thread - For Reference purposes, the old thread can be found HERE. Also HERE is a link to the old Ship Survey I ran. Kitbashes and Derivative Models from FASA, Etc.
Akula Class -- Memory Beta - Frigate from TMP Era, a kitbash of the Constitution refit. A good low tier Escort option?
I'd like to chip in another dime for this one. More than just a kitbash, this class was actually featured in the "Star Trek: Starfleet Command" series of video games (parts I and II) so it could be considered 'canon' by these rules.
And I have to agree, it would make a great complement for the Miranda class and Constitution refit classes.
It could be a high tier Science Ship with a special console:
(Console - Universal: Temporal Displacement)
The console could let you temporally displace a target, basically it would pull the target into a temporal vortex, and spit them out a couple minutes later. You could use it to phase a boss and fight it's escorts alone, or just phase an enemy long enough to escape combat. (NOTE: Really long cooldown time, limited to being used after dropping below 50% hull)
Also:
FED: Jellyfish-type
Another high-tier Science Ship, but with the maneuverability of most low-tier ships.
Also, another console.
(Console - Universal: Red Matter Bomb)
The console drops a charge that upon exploding creates a Red Matter Gravity Well for about 60 seconds, the well pulls enemies into it, and does damage to them for every second they spend in the well.
Basically, these ships could sell for about 2,000 ZEN as Vice Admiral (50) ships.
Comments
I would too. But would this ship still be science or tactical ?
So, im not the only that keeps reposting things they already mentioned and I doubt I'll be the last. Also I forgot to mention the argo and dauntless.
Here it is right now: it is yellow and resembles the canon sovereign's dish.

You'd probably have to be working at Cryptic to have a ship design considered.
Unfortunately, no.

Would see it as ither a Tac or Sci vessle, Special Ability "Subspace Weapon" Fires a special torp that creates a Gravity Well effect.
I feel a Son'a ship could be used by both Feds and Klings .. like a Mercenary ship.
I always liked how very IDIC it is.
IDIC Class?

For Starfleet fighter carrier role, I prefer this Galaxy Class with double shuttlebay variant than the far-from-canon Catian Atrox Carrier.
This Galaxy Class with double shuttlebay variant is from DS9: Sacrifice of Angels episode.

There's no Memory Beta page for these two, so you get an art scan directly from the back of my personal copy of the novel: http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/7112/img004qv.jpg
