Constellation class (with the bridge and engine room of the U.S.S. Hathaway from "Peak Performance" ... without all the damage)
i agree, some more individual ship interiors (not only brigde designs!) would be very nice. what i like to see is the bridge of the excelsior like the one of star trek III.
another thing that would be fantastic to see, a station that looks like starbase 375: http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Starbase_375
much federation starbases used this design, so it could be great for a real starfleet atmosphere
afaik there is actually no difference between the design of the k'vort class, and the b'rel class which is already ingame. they even used the same models for these ship classes in tng.

Yes, I'm aware, that they used the same models in the shows, but well.. I'd call "size" an aspect of design.. so there actually is a difference.. not to mention all the technological and strategic differences.

I don't know if it's possible since it involves a Federation ship developed for another Star Trek game, but I would love to see the Strider-class starships from Star Trek Legacy:
The Strider was labeled as a "scout" in that game ... essentially a cross between an escort and a science vessel.
I just really liked the Strider in that game because it was a cross between three of my favorite movie-era starships (Constitution, Excelsior, and Oberth).
I'd like to see more ships in STO that are styled after the movie-era ships and I like the idea of a hybrid escort/science ship.
In the immortal words of Captain Sisko: "It may not be what you believe, but that doesn't make it wrong."
Don't believe the lies in this forum. I am NOT an ARC user. I play STO on Steam or not at all.

Now there has been something that has been pressing my mind since I have started playing Star Trek Online. Hey, we all know Starfleet has the Armitarge Class Heavy Escort Carrier, and the Caitian Atrox Carrier as well. But with the Klingon Defense Force in possession of the Vo'Quv Class Carrier. And also the recent Jem'Hadar Dreadnaught Carrier, both that can spit out small attack ships so to speak. Starfleet should have one as well. I mean yeah, both carriers can carry fighters, but when it comes right down to it. A ship with a fleet of attack ships kind of easily kills off the competition there.
So my proposal, the Yamato Class BB converted into a carrier. Now you might ask yourself why? Simple, first off it has been featured in almost ever Star Trek game. From Starfleet Battles, to Star Trek Starfleet Command, and Klingon Academy. Now if all the trademark and legal stuff can be worked out by Perfectworld/Cryptic and NBC I think we could have something interesting going. So yes first it is canon that is if this game is willing to accept those games as canon. Second, well when it comes to naval history it was well known that several warships were converted into carriers. And if you look at the Yamato it could carry the potential. Although not sure if you could fit Defiant's into that sized hull without first retrofitting it or just modifying it by cutting out part of the inside of it's hull to make hangers out of it. It would require some work and imagination, but hey that's what this game is all about. Expanding the possibilities.
There is also the possibility as well they could design a carrier based on the specs of the Yamato Class BB. I mean hell, look at the Armitarge it inspired from the Akira which according to STO was hoped to become a Heavy Escort Carrier. So the potential is there. All I am trying to say it would be nice to see a Federation Carrier matching toe to toe with the Vo'Quv when it comes to spitting out Raiders or Escorts as it's idea of fighter wings.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

I don't know if it was mentioned before, but I would like to see the USS Kelvin from the 2009 Star Trek movie. Also some new versions of it. That would be great! I love for example the heavy 4 engined cruiser, but I preffer a 2 engined version like the USS Kelvin
I just got done watching the TNG episode "Booby Trap" and I'd love to see a Promellian battle cruiser added to STO.
Yes, the original Promellian battle cruisers were 1000 years old by the time of TNG, but judging by Picard's excitement and the looks of awe on the bridge crew, it's safe to say the Promellian battle cruiser was one of the most historically important starships of the known races up to that point. Picard even admitted to having a model of a Promellian battle cruiser as a child.
That sounds EXACTLY like the kind of ship the Ferengi would take, duplicate, and update with modern technology for wealthy mercenaries to use. I can easily see a Promellian battle cruiser being a lobi store ship. Give it good specs and do a decent job with the game model and I'll fork over the lobi to buy it.

After reviewing the various wishes posted so far, I would like to see;
the Quantum class as listed on this page mentioned earlier, not sure if it's canon, but it's an interesting play on a voyager style hull, I'm guessing the described weaponry may need nerfing (planet killing wormhole generators? yeah right!) http://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/lcars/index-bp.html
Also, I've just finished watching the new JJ Abrams movies, I don't care what the critics said, I love them and think they are a clever reboot, granted Kahn wasn't the same tormented nut case as in the original but I thought the whole rewrite was entertaining and I would love to see the alternate time-line ships begin to appear in STO, particularly the Dreadnought, I love that open saucer look I thought that was cool.
Please, please, please, can we have the alternate time-line Enterprise and Dreadnought available to play with in STO? The films might have had mixed reactions but they certainly had sexy ships!
If you had time, perhaps Spock's red matter shuttle would be cool to fly too:)
Can you have Starships from the New Star Trek Movies
the new
Constitution Class Vessel (USS Enterprise NCC-1701)
Dreadnought Class (USS Vengeance)
USS Kleven (NCC-0569)
also can you do something about the registry like have in the C Store have the numbers go from 0-9999999 for an example just a thought
Stuff that is exclusive to the new movies can't be used by Cryptic.
Some materials that are ALSO in the movie have found their way into STO, like the Red Matter Capacitor and the Sharpnel Torpedoes, because they also appeared in the "Countdown" comics.
However the new Enterprise, the Kelvin and the Vengeance are exclusive to the new movies and beyond Cryptic's reach.
Norway was replaced by the derived and updated "Oslo" skin for the Heavy Escort, if I remember correctly.
Though how is that a 'DS9' contribution? Looks like Regula One Space Laboratory to me...

Well, people said the same thing about the Steamrunner because there's that Zephyr skin that's supposed to be its successor design. But the Steamrunner made its seperate appearance regardless. So to be fair it is not without precedence.
I think illcadia meant it was a good addition to the show (where it appeared with some changes in several episodes), not that it was created for the show.
I'd like an evolution of the J-class freighter. Most notable on screen for its ability to seperate from the cargo section. In game, it'd be just like saucer sep or multi vector. Drop the cargo component off, defend it in a smaller, more maneuverable ship comparable to say, a runabout, light cruiser, tier 1 escort, maybe somewhere in the middle of all that.
The cargo module wouldn't be a pet, of course, it'd just sit there. Maybe it could have some cool support ability. Act like a tougher stationary phaser satellite that did lesser turret instead of beam damage, maybe a supply aura that increases hull regen/repair of ships within 5 km or something. Maybe a poor man's photonic displacement, where the enemy stays aggroing it (logically wanting the cargo more than the crew) and the smaller ship gets a temporary threat decrease. Playing off that, maybe ships within X kilometers of it can't be targeted or be the target of AOE attacks for the same reason: The enemy would want the cargo module intact.
There's all sorts of things that could be done with it, but I think that just the seperation ability alone, before any added support bonuses from the other half would be a lot of fun. I'd shell out money for it.
I would like to see some more historical ships in the game as well like NASA Orbital Shuttles as small Crafts With interior and also some other ships too Like Freedom Class and also Intrepid class from Enterprise also Refit NX class well that would be cool to have in the game and also more Introre settings like TNG classic or TMP Classic
I would like to see
Constellation Class
Daedalus Class (TOS)
Antares Class
Curry type Class
New Orleans Class
Niagara Class
Ambassador prototype
Ptolemy (TOS)
Saladin/Hermes (TOS)
Federation Class (TOS)
I'd love a Maquis Raider to be a thing...I'm thinking something on the lines of the current Escort, but faster with less durability.
